The effect of chemically modified thermoplastic starch (CMPS) on the thermal properties and isothermal crystallization kinetics of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) was studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and compared to that of granular starch and an inorganic nucleating agent, talc. Nucleated PLA showed an additional crystallization of PLA, which affected the melting temperature. The crystallinity and crystallization rate of PLA were considerably enhanced by addition of CMPS, even at 0.1% content, and the amount of the CMPS had little effect on the thermal properties and isothermal crystallization kinetics of PLA. The effect of CMPS as a nucleating agent was comparable to that of granular starch but slightly less than that of talc. However, CMPS can offer a fully biodegradable nucleating agent with no residues remaining for the biobased and biodegradable polymers

Two thermotropic homopolymers and copolymer based on two bisphenol monomers and terephthaloyldichloride were prepared via melt polymerization. The optical characteristics of polymers were nematic thread schlieren textures. Fibers from liquid crystalline polymers were spun at the mesophase of molten state. The flow curve showed yield stress and the fibers based on such polymer had high tensile moduulus. Those mechanical properities could be explained by the relaxation times of polymers and X-ray patterns of fibers.
Viscoelastic properties of PLA/PCL blends compatibilized with different methods

The aim of this study was to observe changes in the viscoelastic properties of PLA/PCL (80/20) blends produced using different compatibilization methods. Reactive extrusion and high-energy radiation methods were used for blend compatibilization. Storage and loss moduli, complex viscosity, transient stress relaxation modulus, and tan δ of blends were analyzed and blend morphologies were examined. All compatibilized PLA/PCL blends had smaller dispersed particle sizes than the non-compatibilized blend, and well compatibilized blends had finer morphologies than poorly compatibilized blends. Viscoelastic properties differentiated well compatibilized and poorly compatibilized blends. Well compatibilized blends had higher storage and loss moduli and complex viscosities than those calculated by the log-additive mixing rule due to strong interfacial adhesion, whereas poorly compatibilized blends showed negative deviations due to weak interfacial adhesion. Moreover, well compatibilized blends had much slower stress relaxation than poorly compatibilized blends and didn’t show tan δ plateau region caused by slippage at the interface between continuous and dispersed phases.
교양기초중국어 수업에서 학생 개인차를 고려한 수업전략연구 - 학생 보조 교사의 활용

In this article, we discussed how to use student proctor as a way to solve the students’ individual differences in liberal basic Chinese language classes. The trend of future education is that cooperative learning through cooperation among classmates is becoming important considering students’ various individual differences. This article focuses on how to improve the effectiveness of learning Chinese language and students’ satisfaction by considering the various students’ individual differences. First, a survey was conducted to check and diagnose the degree of differences among students in Chinese language classes. Second, this article explained how to use student proctor to help students with difficulties in learning through group cooperative study. Third, it offers a concrete example of class considering individual difference using student proctor in class. Based on this, I am going to suggest effective improvement measures for liberal Chinese language education. 이 글에서는 대학교 교양기초중국어 수업에 존재하는 학생들의 개인차를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 학생 보조교사를 활용하는 방법에 대해 논하였다. 미래교육의 추세는 학생의 다양한 개인차를 고려하여 급우간의 협동을 통한 협동학습이 중요시 되고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 중국어 수업을 진행할 때 어떻게 하면 학생간의 다양한 개인차를 고려하여 모든 학생들이 만족하며 중국어 학습효율을 높이느냐에 중점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 중국어 수업시간에 존재하는 학생개인차 정도를 확인하고 진단하는 조사를 실시하였고, 둘째, 조별협동학습을 통해 학습에 곤란함이 있는 학생의 학습보조를 위해 학생 보조교사를 활용하는 방안에 대해 설명하였으며, 셋째, 실제적인 수업시간에 학생 보조교사를 활용한 개인차 수업의 실례를 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교양중국어교육의 효과적인 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 polylactide(PLA)/thermoplastic starch(TPS) 블렌드를 3가지 공정으로 제조하여 블렌드의 물성과 형태학의 변화를 조사하였다. 본 목적을 위하여 PLA와 TPS를 이축압출기로 단순히 블렌드한 단순 블렌드, PLA를 TPS와 블렌드하기 전에 maleic anhydride와 개시세로 먼저 말레익화 시킨 maleated PLA (MPLA)를 TPS와 블렌드한 MPLP/TPS 블렌드와 PLA, TPS, MA 및 개시제를 동시에 브렌드하는 in-situ PLA/TPS 블렌드를 제조하였다. DSC로 측청한 유리전이온도(Tg)의 변화가 없는 것으로 보아 블렌드 공정에 따른 상용성의 변화는 없었다 인장강도와 탄성율은 TPS의 함량에는 의존하나 블렌딩 공정에는 영향이 없었다. 형태학의 변화는 블렌딩 공정에 따라 큰 변화를 보였다. In-situ PLA/TPS 블렌드의 경우 분산상의 크기가 고르고 분산이 잘되었으며 계면접착 또한 아주 좋았다. 이는 상분리는 일어나지만 기계적 상용성이 있음을 보여준다. To study the effect of blending process on the properties and morphology of PLA/TPS blends, simple PLA/TPS blend, maleated PLA/TPS blend, and in-situ PLA/TPS/MA/initiator blend were prepared. Glass transition temperature of PLA in blends was not changed by the blending process and the composition of TPS. This may be the lack of compatibility between PLA and TPS. Tensile strength and modulus of blends were depend on the composition of TPS whereas, blending process did not effect on the tensile properties. The morphology of blends was highly depends on the blending process. In situ blend showed a good dispersion of TPS in matrix and a good interfacial adhesion between TPS and PLA matrix. This may be mechanically compatible but phase-separated.

요약문 가소제로 글리세롤과 물을 사용하여 펙틴/전분 블렌드를 이축압출기를 이용하여 제조하였다. 펙틴/전분 비와 가소제의 함량을 변화시킨 블렌드는 열가소성 성질을 보였으며, 펙틴/전분비가 아주 높은 블렌드는 열가소성 성질이 약하였다. 필름은 필름다이를 장착한 일축압출기로 제조하고, 필름에 포함된 수분은 진공오븐으로 증발 시켰다. 필름의 인장 물성은 가소제인 글리세롤의 함량과 건조후 대기 중에서 흡수한 수분의 량에 따라 크게 변화하였으나, 팩틴/전분비와 초기에 가소제로 첨가한 물의 함량변화에는 영향이 적었다. 열분석기는 블렌드에 결정이 남아있는 흡열 곡선을 보이지 않았다. Abstract The blend of pectin, starch, glycerol, and water wasprepared by using a twin-screw extruder. The ratio of pectin/starch, glycerol content,and water content were varied. Most of these blends had a good thermoplasticity, but very higher pectin/starch ratio blends showed a poor thermoplasticity. The film was prepared by using a single-screw extruder with slit die and then dried film much depend on the glycerol content and water absorption, while pectin/starch ratio and water content added at mixing had less effecton the tensile properties. DSC thermogram did not show any kind of endothermic of crystal melting.
