唾液線 및 Parotin이 白鼠象牙質의 硬度에 미치는 影響에 關한 實驗的 硏究
閔丙淳 우석대학교 의과대학 1967 우석의대잡지 Vol.4 No.1
The author measured the hardness of rats' tooth-dentin with Vickers hardness tester to observe the influences on the hardness when the salivary gland which is Parotin(Pa.) productive source was removed or Pa. was injected. The results were as follows: 1. The average hardness of the matured rat's dentin was Hv. (Vickers hardness) 67.93±12.43. 2. The hardness of the dentin, whether the salivary glands existed or not and whether Pa. was injected or not, was low in its inner layer and high in the outer layer. 3. When either parotid gland or submaxillary gland was removed, the hardness was gradually decreased. And the average decreased differences after the 50 days compared with the control were Hv.8.94 in the parotid gland removal, Hv.6.93 in the submaxillary gland removal and Hv.15.00 in the both of parotid and submaxillary glands removal. In any of the salivary glands removal, the hardness was more decreased in the area (B area) near from the root apex than in the area (A area) far from. 4. when 1 ㎎/㎏ of Pa. was injected into the normal rats, the hardness was gradually increased and, after, 20 days, the increased difference was Hv.2.31 average, however, when 5 ㎎/㎏ was injected, there was no significant variation statistically in the whole layer but, after consecutive injection for 20days, it seemed to be a little more decreased in the outer layer recognized to be formed in the earlier period of the injection and it seemed to be slightly increased in the inner layer recognized to be newly formed. 5. When 1 ㎎/㎏ of Pa. was injected into the rats with parotid gland removal, the decreased hardness didn't seem to be recovered in the early period of the injection. But it was recovered as average Hv.1.97 after consecutive injection for 20days. When 5 ㎎/㎏ was injected, it was much more recovered and it was recovered as average Hv.3.10 after consecutive injection for 20days. 6. When 1 ㎎/㎏ of Pa. was injected into the rats with submaxillary gland removal, the decreased hardness was also gradually recovered, and the recovered hardness was average Hv.2.34 after consecutive injection for 20 days; however, when 5 ㎎/㎏ was injected, there was no significant variation statistically in the whole layer but, after consecutive injection for 20 days, it seemed to be a little more decreased in the outer layer, and it seemed to be slightly recovered in the newly formed inner layer. 7. When 1 ㎎/㎏ of Pa. was injected into the rats with both the parotid and submaxillary glands removal, the recovered difference was more considerable than in the case of the only parotid gland removal, and it was recovered as average Hv.2.77 after the injection for 5 days, but it didn't seem to be more recovered since the consecutive injection for 20 days. And when 5 ㎎/㎏ was injected, it was much more recovered and it was recovered as average Hv.4.23 after consecutive injection for 20 days. In view of the fact above, the salivary gland may have some important role to maintain the hardness of the dentin, and when the small amount of Pa. is administrated properly even in the instance of intact salivary gland, the hardness is able to be increased. Also, when the hardness of the dentin was decreased due to a certain disturbance of salivary gland, of Pa. is administrated properly, we may see the fact that the decreased hardness can be considerably recovered.
