스포츠전문인 사역의 이해와 방향 -성경적 원리를 중심으로

본 논문은 스포츠전문인 사역에 대한 개념적 정의와 올바른 해석에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 성경신학적 해석을 통해 선교 현장에서 적용되어야 할 기본원리와 방향을 제시함으로써 그 필요성과 당위성에 대한 이해를 증명하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 시대의 변화에 부응하는 현장 적용적 스포츠전문인 사역에 대한 개념적 정의 도출과 함께 스포츠를 세계 선교의 중요한 패러다임으로 전개할 수 있다는 성경적 근거를 제시하여 향후 연구의 이론적 기틀을 마련하였다. 바람직한 스포츠전문인 사역의 성경적 방향을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고 다음과 같은 의미와 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 시대의 변화에 부응하는 현장 적용적 스포츠전문인 사역에 대한 개념적 정의 도출과 함께 스포츠를 세계 선교의 중요한 패러다임으로 전개할 수 있다는 성경적 근거를 제시하여 향후 연구의 이론적 기틀을 마련하였다. 둘째, 스포츠전문인 사역의 필요성, 경쟁성, 대형스포츠제전의 영적 분별력에 대한 성경적 기본원리에 대한 이해와 하나님 중심, 하나님께 영광, 하나님 사랑의 성경적 방향을 제시함과 동시에 구체적인 현장 적용적 실천방안 면에서 교회는 현장 주도적 스포츠전문인 사역의 근원적 모체로서 ‘포도나무와 가지(요 15:16) 관계’와 같은 원리를 적용할 수 있다는 점을 파악하였다. 그러나 이러한 연구의 의의는 신구약성경과 관련 문헌 연구를 바탕으로 도출됨에 따라 향후 연구에서는 좀 더 넒은 관점에서 구체적인 성경적 기본원리와 방향을 모색하기 위해 질적 연구 및 역사적 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. This paper aims to research on a broad understanding of the biblical principles and directions of sports ministry for effective world mission strategy through a review of available biblical literature and specific instances. It also presents the concept of sports tent-maker ministry for extending innovation and continuous improvement of further Christian studies in this field. Principal findings of this research are as follow. (1) Several biblical evidences concerning sports tent-maker ministry support that sports ministry is a unique paradigm in order to fulfill the great commission. (2) The biblical principles of sports tent-maker ministry are applicable to the Church, the parent body for worship and fellowship based on the biblical metaphor in John 15 of a vine and its branches. (3) The term of sports mission would be modified as sports tent-maker ministry for the special witness of Christ in ways that are clearly cooperate team building in a diverse range of sporting fields from a Christian setting. (4) The methods of sports tent-maker ministry can be underpinned by three core biblical directions - within God; for glory of God; and with love of God for kingdom of God.

전문인 선교는 21세기의 중요한 선교 패러다임이다. 그러나 국내 선교학계는 전문인 선교의 전략적 가치는 인정하지만 전문인 선교 용어와 개념 불일치의 문제는 여전히 존재한다. 본 연구는 국내 선교계의 전문인 선교 연구에 미해결 과제가 여전히 존재하고 있다는 문제의식에서 출발한다. 용어 혼용의 문제, 전략적 가치와 신학적 근거, 직업적 전문성과 직업의 선교실천적 의미의 관계 규명은 전문인 선교의 개념을 재정립하기 위한 선결 과제이다. 전문인 선교에 내재된 선교의 보편성과 특수성 그리고 둘 사이의 창조적 긴장관계는 전문인 선교가 현대 선교의 신학적 대세인지 아니면 전략적 대안인지를 규명할 준거 틀이 된다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 전문인 선교가 21세기 한국 교회의 선교전략이라는 명제의 당위성을 입증함으로써 전문인 선교 연구의 미해결 과제를 해결할 새로운 방향을 제시하였다. 전문인 선교가 현대 선교의 보편적 대세가 되었다는 연구 결과는 전문인 선교의 전략적 가치를 인정하고 이에 대한 선교신학 이론적 기반을 마련하였다는 것을 의미한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 PCK의 사례를 보면 교단 차원에서의 전문인 선교 이해는 여전히 전략적 차원에 머물고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 전문인 선교에 내재된 선교의 보편성과 특수성 그리고 둘 사이의 관계를 규명하면서 전문인 선교가 전략적 대안으로 출발하여 선교신학적 근거를 확보한 선교실천적 대세가 되었음을 확인할 수 있다. 그러나 한국 교회가 전문인 선교의 전략적 가치와 선교신학 이론근거를 통합적으로 이해하고 이를 선교 현장과 지역 교회에서 실천할 수 있는 방안을 구체적으로 제시하는 과제는 여전히 남아있다. 후속 연구를 통해서 남은 과제를 풀어내게 되기를 기대한다. The tentmaker mission is an important mission paradigm in the 21st century. However, although the domestic missionary academia recognizes the strategic value of the tentmaker mission, the problem of inconsistency between tentmaker mission terminology and concept still exists. This study starts with the awareness of the problem that unsolved tasks still exist in missionary research, especially in the domestic mission field. The problem of mixed terms, strategic values and theological basis, and the identification of the relationship between professional expertise and the practical meaning of vocation are the prerequisites to redefine the concept of tentmaker mission. The universality and specificity of mission inherent in professional mission, and the creative tension between the two, serve as a framework for clarifying whether the tentmaker mission is the theological trend of modern mission or a strategic alternative. Through this, this study suggests a new direction to solve the unsolved task of the study of the tentmaker mission by proving the justification of the proposition that the tentmaker mission be the mission strategy of the Korean Church in the 21st century. The findings that the tentmaker mission has become a universal trend in modern mission imply that the strategic value of tentmaker mission has been acknowledged and the theoretical basis for mission theology has been established. Nevertheless, from the case of the PCK, it can be seen that the understanding of tentmaker missions at the denomination level remains at the strategic level. Through this study, it was confirmed that the universality and specificity of missions inherent in professional missions, and the creative tension between the two, began as a strategic alternative and became a practical trend in missions that secured the theological basis for missions. However, the task of presenting concrete plans for the Korean Church to comprehensively understand the strategic value of missionary expertise and the basis of mission theology and to put it into practice in the field of missions and local churches remains. I look forward to solving the remaining tasks through follow-up research.
