        인공지능 교양필수 교육과정의 운영 사례 연구

        The nations of the world are now accelerating their development of core technologies needed in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to strengthen their national competitiveness. Since technology involving artificial intelligence is an important element among these emerging technologies, the necessity of artificial intelligence education (AI) is emphasized in elementary, middle school, high school, and university. For effective AI education in Korea, a standard model of the curriculum has been developed, and the system is being further established. In particular, since AI education at universities directly affects the sort of talent training needed more and more in society, AI subjects are mandatory within the curriculum for various majors. Moreover, AI related departments, AI graduate schools, and AI centers are being actively established. In addition, the need to operate basic AI subjects for students not majoring in AI education is emerging in order to fuse AI subjects with those of other fields. Therefore, in this research we organized the required subjects for AI studies, operated the curriculum for all new students of science and engineering at A University, and based on the basic materials obtained through our questionnaire, we analyzed the satisfaction and difficulty suitability of the AI educational content. We learned that this sort of content is regarded as necessary in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and in addition to receiving positive feedback concerning the study of AI, we also learned that there is a need for educators to adjust the level of the material to better facilitate learning. The results of this study will serve as basic reference material for the design and operation of basic education classes in AI, as well as a case study that operated required subjects for AI education.

        비전공자를 위한 인공지능 기초 교양 교육 프로그램 개발

        Based on the acceleration of information and communication technology and a large amount of data, artificial intelligence technology is affecting the economy, society, and culture as a whole. Therefore, the current generation needs convergence thinking ability to understand and utilize artificial intelligence. As a basic liberal arts course, this study developed educational contents for non-majors to cultivate AI concepts and ability to use AI, operated it as a required liberal arts course at University A, and conducted a questionnaire to analyze the learning effect. As a basic education, the AI curriculum was composed based on experiential learning-centered learning contents to arouse interest and interest in non-majors in order to understand AI from the perspective of applied science. The learning stage consisted of three stages of artificial intelligence concept learning, artificial intelligence experiential learning, and applied learning. As a result, about 80% of AI class satisfaction and 78% AI understanding were confirmed. It is expected that the case of this study will be helpful in the design and operation of the curriculum of artificial intelligence basic liberal arts education.
