대기부유분진중 중금속 함량에 관한 연구 : 중앙대학교 중심으로(1985-1986)

Total suspended particles(T.S.P.), coarse and find particles, were collected on the quartz fiber filter using Andersen Hi-volume air sampler from March 1985 to February 1986 at Chung Ang University. Six heavy metals(Fe, Zn, Pb, Cu, Mn, Cd) in the particle were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The mean value of T.S.P. was 113.21 ㎍ / ㎥. The mean values of 6 heavy metals (Fe, Zn, Pb, Cu, Mn, Cd) were 2439.58, 1306.85, 571.02, 125.46, 66.41, 3.30 ng / ㎥, respectively. The concentration of T.S.P. and heavy metals shows higher value in Winter-Spring time (Dec.∼May) than in Summer-Autumn time (Jun.∼Nov.) Statistical analysis showed that there was a correlation between T.S.P. and Cu, Mn, Fe in cosare particles, and between T.S.P. and Cd, Pb, Cu, Mn in fine particles.

Norfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic with wide spread therapeutic application because of its broad spectrum if antibacterial activity, oral effectiveness, and low incidence of serious adverse effects. Studies over the past few years established several fluoroquinolones, including norfloxain. But they have often resistance and some of the problem of pharmacokinetics. In order to find more potent and safe drugs, a bivalent ligand was synthesized by the reaction of norfloxacin with oxaylchloride, and evaluated for MICs and the serum concentrations were determined by HPLC. Oxalyl-bis-norfloxacin was shown more potent than norfloxacin in MICs at Pseudomonas aeruginosa snd Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Swei세포에서 Ceramide의 c-myc, c-fms 유전자 발현에 대한 작용

The effect of ceramide on the expression of protooncongences, c-myc and c-fms, has been investigated in Swei cells. Treatment with a synthetic cell-permeable ceramide(N-acetylsphingosine) caused increase in c-fms mRNA in a time-dependent manner. The induction of c-fms gene was detected at 3 hr and the peak effect occurred at 24 hr after the addition of 6μM of ceramide. The expression of c-myc protooncogene was decreased at 1 hr 30 min in Swei cells. Ceramide also inhibited cell growth in a dose-dependent manner in Swei cells. These results suggested that ceramide in involved in the regulation of cell growth.

The old cephalosporins such as cephalexin have short half-lives and are absorbed by carrier-mediated process usually. In order to sustain drug-release, matrices were prepared by ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer with Carbopol-940. Matrix was cutted and sieved through 840-1180㎛ to evaluate in vivo bioavailability in rats. Some addition of Carbopol to matrix increased the release rate of cephalexin, On the other hand, increase in the ratio of polymer to drug decreased the release rate in pH 6.8 buffer solution. The AUC_0∼24 atter oral administration of marix was decreased 10∼23% compared with that of cephalexin powder. The absorption rate effectiveness(ARE) and the controlled release effectiveness(CRE) were wmployed to evaluate the pharmacokinetic characteristics of different matrices.
Streptozotocin 유발 고혈당 흰주에 미치는 Cucurbitacin B의 효과

The effects of cucurbitacin B on rat with streptozotcin-induced hyperglycemia were investigated. The serum total cholesterol was decreased by administration of cucurbitacin B as compared with control group(streptozotocin only) However, the serum glucose and serum triglyceride level were not decreased by administration of cucurbitacin B. And serum GPT activity was significantly decreased 5 times by the pretreatment of cucurbitacin B at dose of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.4㎎/㎏ and 3 times by the posttreatment of Cucurbitacin B at a dose of 0.4㎎/㎏ as compared with control group(p<0.05). The serum GOT activity was significantly decreased 5 times by the pretreatment of cucurbitacin B at a dose of 0.2㎎/㎏ (p<0.01), and 5 times by the pretreatment of Cucurbitacin B at dose of 0.4㎎/㎏ (p<0.05) as compared with control group. The lipid peroxidation in liver of the stretozotocin-induced hyperglycemic rats were decreased 3 times by the posttreatment of cucurbitacin B at a dose of 0.1㎎/㎏, 0.2㎎/㎏ and 0.4㎎/㎏ as compared with control group(p<0.05).
Biphenyldimethyldicarboxylate 및 그 가수분해물의 온도에 의한 Chemical Shift의 거동

The temperature dependence of ^13C and ^1H nuclear magnetic resonance in biphenyldimethyldicarboxylate(PMC) and its hydrolysate have been investigated. The ^13C and ^1H chemical shifts of PMC and its hydrolysate is shown to be temperature dependent. Most of all, influence of its structure is the major factor on linear correlation between chemical shift and temperature. In solvent effect, PMC in CDCl_3 and DMSO-d_6 showed different chemical shifts and NMR spectrum patterns, respectively.
흰쥐 관류간에서 알파-및 베타- 효는제와 cAMP에 의한 글루코오스의 유리에 있어서 칼슘의 작용

This study was performed to veify the role of Ca^++ and cAMP and interaction between phenylephrine and isoproterenol on hepatic glucose release in perfused rat liver. The results are as follows. 1. In 1.3mM Ca^++ -contained perfusate, phenylephrine induced Ca^++ -efflux. Ca^++ -efflux by phynylephrine alone was higher than by the combination of phenlyphrine and isoproterenol or dibutyryl cyclic AMP(Bu_2cAMP). Additionally, Bu_2cAMP caused Ca^++ -influx, whereas isoproterenol showed no net change in Ca^++ -fluxes. 2. Phenylephrine didn't increase glucose release in EGTA-treated buffer. The amount of glucose release was the highest in Ca^++ -contained buffer. 3. The increase of glucose release by isoproterenol or Bu_2cAMP in Ca^++ -contained buffer was less than in Ca^++ -free of EGTA-treated buffer. 4. The synergistic effect on glucose release was found by the combination of phenylephrine and isoproternol as well as by the combination of phenylephrine and Bu_2cAMP regardless of cellular Ca^++ level. The effect by simultaneous adminitstration was highest in Ca^++ -free buffer. Therefore, it is concluded that phenylephrine requires Ca^++ to increase glucose release, but the effects of isoproterenol and Bu_2cAMP on hepatic glucose release are unrelated to cellulatr Ca^++. Bu_2cAMP inhibits Ca^++ -efflux induced by phenylephrine and acts synergistically with phenylephrine of hepatic glucose release.

The studies were carried out to evaluated the hepatotoxicities of carbon tetrachloride in rats by concurrent administrations of Sodiho-Tang and silymarin, Daeshiho-Tang and silymarin. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The activities of s-GPT, s-GOT and s-LDH induced by 20% CCl_4(5㎖/kg, olive oil) were significantly decreased by the concurrent administrations of silymarin+Soshiho-Tang(100+200㎎/㎏) and silymarin+Daeshiho-Tang(100+100㎎/㎏) respectively. 2. s-ALP activities induced by 20% CCl_4(5㎎/㎏, olive oil) were significantly inhibited by the administrations of silymarin+Soshiho-Tang(100+100㎎/㎏) and Daeshiho-Tang(100㎎/㎏), but were not decreased by all concurrent administrations of silymarin+Daeshiho-Tang single administrations of them. 3. Livers of control rats(20% CCl_4 in olive oil, 5㎎/㎏) were shown remarkable fatty changes, necrosises and inflammatory cellular infiltrations around centrilobular and midzonal area associated with congestion in central vein and sinusoids. The fatty changes of control rats were improved by the administrations of silymarin(100㎎/㎏), Soshiho-Tang(100 and 200㎎/㎏) and Daeshiho-Tang(100㎎/㎏). Especially, all pathologic changes of control rat livers were significantly improved by concurrent administrations of silymarin+Soshiho-Tang(100+100㎎/㎏), silymarin+Soshiho-Tang(100+200㎎/㎏) and silymarin+Daeshiho-Tang(100+100㎎/㎏) more than single administrations of them respectively.
