        The Certification Authority in each country is briskly in progress to get the reliability of Electronic Commerce. One Certification Authority can not authenticate the reliability of Electronic Commerce spreading itself to the world rapidly. Therefore, Each country is constructing the base of Electronic Commerce Authority System and trying to provide cross connection with compatibility through the Cross-Authentication. This paper analysed the requirements of Cross-Authentication Mechanism on researching internationally and proposed the check-list of Cross-Authentication Model. The paper could be a guidance to organize domestic Cross-Authentication System Models.

      • 분산 어플리케이션의 정보보호 서비스를 위한 CAPI 설계 모델

        Until recently, the integration of cryptographic functionality into application program has required that developers tightly couple the application to the cryptographic module. This approach forces each new combination of application and cryptography to be treated as a distinct development effort, and does not provide the modularity and maintainability. An approach that can provide flexibility and cost saving is the use of a standardized CAPI(Cryptographic Application Prigram Interface) suite. This Paper analyze the CAPI for the development of various types of security application programs in distributed environment. The analysis of CAPI are considered with the respect of 7 criteria items such as algorithm independence, application independence, cryptomodule independence, the degree of cryptographic awareness, modular design and auxiliary services, safe programming and security perimeter. In this paper, we suggested the basis of utilization to be selected for develope the cryptographic modules in distributed applications.

      • 전척추전후방향촬영시 이온전리조 위치조합에 따른 임상노출지수, 신호 대 잡음비, 대조도 대 잡음비 결과값 비교

        목 적:전척추전후방촬영(Whole Spine AP)를 3-Spot 촬영시 각 Spot의 이온전리조 위치조합을 다르게 설정하여 획득한 영상들의 임상노출지수(Clinical EXI), 신호대잡음비(SNR), (CNR)값을 측정 비교분석하여 임상 노출지수의 유용성을 확인하고 최적의 진단 영상을 알아보고자 한다. 대상 및 방법:Rando Phantom을 이용해 전척추전후 방촬영을 3-Spot 촬영하였다. X선원과 검출기 간의 거리(SID)는 180 cm, 촬영범위는 비근점부터 대퇴경부, 각 Spot당 관전압 90kV, 노출당 선량 3.57μGy, 테이블과 피사체 간의 거리(TOD)는 10cm로 고정하였으며 자동 노출 제어장치(AEC)모드에서 이온전리조를 중앙 1개, 중앙을 제외한 좌우측 2개, 중앙과 좌우측 3개, 총 3가지 위치조합을 3-Spot에 각각 다르게 적용하여 총 27가지 조합으로 영상수신기에 표기되는 임상노출지수를 획득하였고 Image J 프로그램을 사용해 동일한 관심영역(ROI)를 설정하여 신호 대 잡음비, 대조도 대 잡음비를 획득하여 비교분석하였다. 결 과:노출당 선량 3.57μGy에 적정 임상노출지수를 357을 기준으로 가장 근접한 이온전리조 위치조합은 첫 번째 Spot에서 중앙 1개, 두 번째 Spot에서 중앙, 좌우 측 3개, 세 번째 Spot에서 중앙을 제외한 좌우측 2개로 나타났다. 첫 번째 Spot에서 중앙 1개, 두 번째 Spot에서 중앙 1개, 세 번째 Spot에서 중앙, 좌측, 우측 3개의 이온전리조 위치조합일 때 신호 대 잡음비, 대조도 대 잡음비가 가장 높게 나타났다. 결 론:전척추전후방촬영는 3-Spot 촬영 시 획득한 영상의 임상노출지수, 신호 대 잡음비, 대조도 대 잡음비 값들을 비교했을 때 차이가 있었다. 영상화질평가 목적으로 임상노출지수 값을 참고하는데 한계가 있는 것으로 사료된다. Purpose:SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), CNR (Contrast signal to Noise Ratio), and Clinical EXI (Exposure Index) of the images obtained by setting different combinations of Ion chamber positions for each spot during 3-spot imaging of Whole Spine AP. Clinical EXI was compared with other clinical data and confirm the usefulness and confirm the optimal diagnosis image. Materials and Methods:Using the Rando Phantom, We take 3-spot Whole Spine AP. SID (Source to Image-Receptor Distance) is 180 cm, TOD (Table to Object Distance) is 10 cm, range is from nasion to femur neck, tube voltage is 90 kV per spot, dose is 3.57 μGy per exposure. In the AEC (Automatic Exposure Control) mode, Ion chamber is located at the center, left and right sides except the center, at the center and left and right sides. Clinical EXI value of the image receiver was obtained by total of 27 kinds of combination and the same ROI (region of interest) was set using the Image J program, and SNR, CNR were obtained and compared. Result:The closest Ion chamber position combination based on the appropriate Clinical EXI 357 based on the dose of 3.57 μGy per exposure was the center of one spot in the first spot, The center, left and right in the second spot, In the third Spot, there were two left and right sides except the center. SNR and CNR were the highest at the center of one spot in the first spot, the center of one spot in the second spot and the center, left and right in the third spot. Conclusion:The Whole Spine AP was different when comparing clinical EXI, SNR, and CNR values of 3-spot images. It is considered that there is a limit to reference Clinical EXI value for the purpose of evaluating the image quality.

        Identification of Non-Muscle Nebulin Isoform in Human Brain Library

        Nebulin is a (Mr 600~900 kDa) large actin-binding protein specific to skeletal muscle and thought to act as a molecular template that regulates the length of thin filaments. Cardiac muscles of higher vertebrates have been shown earlier to lack nebulin. Recently, full-length nebulin mRNA transcripts have been detected in heart muscle, but at lower levels than in skeletal muscle. Nebulin expression also was detected in the kidney, eye, and otic canal, suggesting that nebulin isoforms may also be expressed in these organs. We have searched for nebulin isoforms in brain of human using PCR and Northern blot. Here, we provide evidence that nebulin mRNA transcripts are expressed in brain. Seven nebulin isoforms (B, C, D, E, F, G and H form) are obtained in human skeletal muscle and four isoforms (B, C, G and H form) in human brain cDNA library. We cloned the 1.3 kb of nebulin fragment from human adult bran library by PCR. The identity of the PCR product was confirmed by sequence analysis. The partial brain nebulin sequence was 99% identical to the skeletal muscle cDNA as determined by Blast alignment. It contains two simple-repeats HR1, HR2 and linker-repeals exon 135~143 except exon 140. It was different from skeletal muscle B form, which contain HR1 and HR8. These data suggest that nebulin isoform diversity occurs even more extensively than previously known, likely contributing to the distinct thin filament architecture of different striated muscles.

      • Antarctic Krill Oil Diet Protects against Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Oxidative Stress, Neuroinflammation and Cognitive Impairment

        <P>Oxidative stress and neuroinflammation are implicated in the development and pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Here, we investigated the anti-inflammatory and antioxidative effects of krill oil. Oil from <I>Euphausia superba</I> (Antarctic krill), an Antarctic marine species, is rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). We examined whether krill oil diet (80 mg/kg/day for one month) prevents amyloidogenesis and cognitive impairment induced by intraperitoneal lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (250 µg/kg, seven times daily) injections in AD mice model and found that krill oil treatment inhibited the LPS-induced memory loss. We also found that krill oil treatment inhibited the LPS-induced expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) and malondialdehyde levels. Krill oil also suppresses IκB degradation as well as p50 and p65 translocation into the nuclei of LPS-injected mice brain cells. In association with the inhibitory effect on neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, krill oil suppressed amyloid beta (1–42) peptide generation by the down-regulating APP and BACE1 expression in vivo. We found that eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) (50 and 100 µM) dose-dependently decreased LPS-induced nitric oxide and ROS generation, and COX-2 and iNOS expression as well as nuclear factor-κB activity in cultured microglial BV-2 cells. These results suggest that krill oil ameliorated impairment via anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, and anti-amyloidogenic mechanisms.</P>

        Identification of Proteins Interacting with C-Terminal Region of Human Ankyrin-G

        Ankyrins are a ubiquitously expressed family of intracellular adaptor proteins involved in targeting diverse proteins to specialized membrane domains in both the plasma membrane and the endoplasmic reticulum. Recently, the studies with C-terminus of ankyrins have identified that ankyrin-B is capable of interacting with Hsp40 and sAnk1 is capable of interacting with obscurin and titin, but the function of C-terminal domain of ankyrin-G remains unknown. To identify proteins interacting C-terminus of ankyrin-G, we used the C-terminus of ankyrin-G as a bait for a yeast two-hybrid screen of brain cDNA library. Approximately 1.33×10? transformants were screened, of which 13 positive clones were obtained as determined by activation of HIS3, ADE2 and MEL1 reporter genes. Sequence analyses of these 13 plasmids revealed that cDNA inserts of 13 colonies showed highly homologous to 11 genes, including 5 known (i.e., Na?/K? ATPase β1, SERBP1, UTF2, cytochrome C oxidase and collagen Ⅳ α2) and 6 unknown genes. The evaluation of the proteins that emerge from these experiments provides a rational approach to investigate the those proteins significant in interaction with ankyrin-G.
