Influence of Gas Content on Performance Effect on Shunt Vane Type Aviation Fuel Pump
Zixuan Xu,Zhenggui Li,Weijun Wang,Qifan Wang,Yang Xu,Yibin Li 한국유체기계학회 2022 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.15 No.1
In order to study the flow law of shunt vane type aviation fuel pump under the condition of gas-liquid mixture transportation, based on the RNG K-ε turbulence model and the Euler-Euler non-uniformity model, using the ANSYS CFX software to calculate an aviation fuel pump under different gas content conditions, and analyzing the flow of the fuel pump and the pressure law of the blade pressure. The research shows that the gas phase is mainly distributed in the front section of the long blade suction surface and the back section of the short blade pressure surface. The increased gas content will result in increased liquid velocity in the pump, which makes the gas phase gradually develop towards the suction surface of long and short blades and diffuse to the impeller flow path. The gas content mainly affects the pressure surface load of the fuel pump blades. The pressure load curve fluctuates at the relative position of the short blade (0.5-0.6) and long blade (0.3-0.6) as well as at the end of the blade and decreases with the increase in gas content. The change of pressure fluctuation of the blade is mainly reflected at the junction of long and short blades, and the pressure fluctuation amplitude of the front section of the short blade and middle section of the long blade fluctuates greatly. With the increase in gas content, the pressure fluctuation amplitude at each monitoring point reduces. The research results can provide some reference for the design of aviation fuel pumps.
Effects of ZrO2 on physical and mechanical properties of vitrified bond CBN composite materials
Xuezhi Wang,Tianbiao Yu,Xue Sun,Zixuan Wang,Wanshan Wang 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2016 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.17 No.9
The effects of ZrO2 on the physical and mechanical properties of vitrified bond and vitrified boron nitride (CBN) compositeswere systematically investigated. The basic vitrified bond (B2O3-Al2O3-SiO2-Li2O-Na2O) and ZrO2 make up the vitrified bond, and then constitute the vitrified CBN composites consists together with CBN abrasives. The addition of ZrO2 has a certaininfluence on refractoriness, liquidity, bending strength of vitrified bond. With the increase of adding amount of ZrO2 therefractoriness of vitrified bonds gradually rises, and fluidity of vitrified bonds becomes lower. When the ZrO2 addition amountreaches a certain extent, the crystalline phase-ZrSiO4 will appear during the sintering process. In addition, the ZrO2 can addto a certain extent, improve the strength of the bond and CBN composites, when ZrO2 addition amount of 8 wt.%, theperformance of the vitrified bond is the most. Its value changes from 69.74 MPa to 87.45 MPa.

Tuberculosis (TB), a bacterial infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis), is a significant global public health problem. Mycobacterium tuberculosis expresses a unique family of PE_PGRS proteins that have been implicated in pathogenesis. Despite numerous studies, the functions of most PE_PGRS proteins in the pathogenesis of mycobacterium infections remain unclear. PE_PGRS45 (Rv2615c) is only found in pathogenic mycobacteria. In this study, we successfully constructed a recombinant Mycobacterium smegmatis (M. smegmatis) strain which heterologously expresses the PE_PGRS45 protein. We found that overexpression of this cell wall-associated protein enhanced bacterial viability under stress in vitro and cell survival in macrophages. MS_PE_PGRS45 decreased the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, IL-12p40, and TNF-α. We also found that MS_PE_PGRS45 increased the expression of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 and altered macrophage-mediated immune responses. Furthermore, PE_PGRS45 enhanced the survival rate of M. smegmatis in macrophages by inhibiting cell apoptosis. Collectively, our findings show that PE_PGRS45 is a virulent factor actively involved in the interaction with the host macrophage.

The changes of protein digestibility, the peptidesin the digestive juice and angiotensin I converting enzyme(ACE) inhibitory activity after heating of oysters wereinvestigated. The digestibility of raw oysters was 71.1%,and that of oysters heated at 100 C was 67.9%. A total of169 and 370 peptides were identified from the digestion ofraw oysters and heated oysters, respectively. According toUPLC-Q-TOF-MS spectra, the peptides with a molecularweight below 2000 Da accounted for 87.6% of the totalpeptides of raw oysters and 94% of heated oysters. Testingthe ACE inhibitory activity in vitro, the IC50 values of rawoyster and cooked oyster were 6.77 lg/mL and 3.34 lg/mL, respectively. Taken together, the results showed thatheated oysters could produce more active peptides andprovide ACE inhibitory activity.
