        Analysis of Mechanical Properties in Steel Frame with Ductile Connections

        Steel frames with ductile connections have good seismic performance under strong earthquake, they are now popular for high seismic design. In order to simplify the process of numerical analysis of the steel frames with ductile connections, simplifi ed connection models are introduced, two types of springs are placed in the simplifi ed connection model, which can simulate deformation of the panel zone and members. 6-story-3-bay steel frames with ductile connections are simplifi ed and carried out modal analysis, fundamental periods of the frames predicted by fi nite-element analysis for simplifi ed steel frame models were compared to the results for actual frame models. 2-story steel frame with reduced beam section connections is simplifi ed and carried out pseudo-static analysis, hysteretic curves and skeleton curves of the frame obtained by fi nite-element analysis for simplifi ed steel frame model are compared to test results. The comparison show that the diff erence between them is small, it is reliable and eff ective to predict mechanical properties of the steel frame with ductile connection by fi nite-element analysis of simplifi ed steel frame model.

        Theoretical research on the propagation of the crack normal to and dwelling on the interface of the cermet cladding material structure

        The interface crack propagation problem in the cermet cladding material structure was studied. A comparative propagation propertyparameter (CP) suitable to judge the propagation direction of the interface crack in the cermet cladding material structure was proposed. The interface crack propagation criterion was established. Theoretical models of the CPs for the crack normal to and dwelling on theinterface deflecting separately into the clad, the interface and the substrate were built, and the relations between the CPs and the loadaction angle, the clad thickness ratio and the load were investigated with an example. The research results show that, under the researchconditions, the interface crack will more easily propagate into the clad layer than into the substrate.

        Transcriptome Sequencing Reveals the Potential Mechanisms of Modified Electroconvulsive Therapy in Schizophrenia

        Objective Schizophrenia (SCZ) is one of the most common and severe mental disorders. Modified electroconvulsive therapy (MECT) is the most effective therapy for all kinds of SCZ, and the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. This study is aim to detect the molecule mechanism by constructing the transcriptome dataset from SCZ patients treated with MECT and health controls (HCs).Methods Transcriptome sequencing was performed on blood samples of 8 SCZ (BECT: before MECT; AECT: after MECT) and 8 HCs, weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) was used to cluster the different expression genes, enrichment and protein-protein interaction (PPI) enrichment analysis were used to detect the related pathways.Results Three gene modules (black, blue and turquoise) were significantly associated with MECT, enrichment analysis found that the long-term potentiation pathway was associated with MECT. PPI enrichment p-value of black, blue, turquoise module are 0.00127, <1×10<sup>-16</sup> and 1.09×10<sup>-13</sup>, respectively. At the same time, EP300 is a key node in the PPI for genes in black module, which got from the transcriptome sequencing data.Conclusion It is suggested that the long-term potentiation pathways were associated with biological mechanism of MECT.
