This study was carried out to investigate the performance enhancement of forced oxidation operation on the limestone utilization and SO₂ removal efficiency of the pilot flue gas desulfurization system. The results are as follows : 1. The results of the forced oxidation tests have shown that converting from natural to forced oxidation operation can have a significant effect on both limestone utilization and SO₂ removal efficiency of an FGD system. Conversely, if the limestone utilization is maintained at a constant level, the SO₂ removal efficiency will increase. Conversely, if the pH is held constant, the limestone utilization will increase significantly. 2. This characteristic of a forced oxidation system can translate into lower L/G requirements and, therefore, reduced capital and operating costs for slurry recycle pumps. 3. Forced oxidation operation will provide improved limestone utilization and, therefore. reduced limestone reagent costs.

In this research, the optimum LFG pilot plant of extraction, purification, and application are selected by economic analysis, constructed and operated for the development of the standard LFG utilizing process process proper to domestic landfill. LFG recovery pilot plant was constructed at the base of the result of optimized design and economic evaluation performed at S,D landfill(landfil1 area : 514,345m², landfill depth : 23-39m, landfill MSW amount : 12,808,317m³, landfill period : 87.6-93.5) in Pusan. It was consisted of four extraction well(two extraction well with 18.5m depth, two extraction well with 10m depth), collection head with 160m length, scrubber with capacity 14m³/min as purification process, and flare stack as burning facilities. And monitoring well was set at 30, 50, 70, 90m far from extraction well for the estimation of influence radius. The following experiments were performed using the predeveloped LFG reconvery pilot plant. First, LFG generation amount and generation rate were estemated from the atom analysis of municipal solid waster in S,D landfill. Second, real LFG extraction rate of some 0-10㎥/min was obtanied from operating of LFG recovery process. Third, influence radius was estimated 85-100m according to varying 407㎥/min extraction rate. Fourth, composition of LFG was detected in extraction well and the before and after of purification process.

This study was to experiment, through sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the sludge composition change before and after treatment, the thermal specific character, and the effects of treatment condition come up to sludge water content. The results are as follows. 1. The contents of crude protein and crude fat were respectively 4.8% and 3.4% before treatment, and those were 18.9% and 12.5% after theatment. 2. According to the results of Thermogravimetric analysis, the temperature ranges of themal decomposition were 290-430℃ and 250-380℃ before and after treatment. According to the results of Derivative Thermogravimetric analysis, the temperature of rapidly mass decreas occur respectively 320℃ and 280 C. For the more proper treatment and reuse of organic wastes, the continuous studies of Vacuum Frying Method are more needed.

This study is a series of experimental investigation on the buckling strengths of eccentrically compressed cold-formed stainless steel square hollow section columns. The principal parameters in this study are slenderness ratios(λ=30, 50, 70) and magnitude of eccentricity e(0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10cm) on the symmetrical end-moment. Objectives of this paper are to obtain the maximum loads by performing an experimental work and to compare the experimental behaviors with analytical results. The ultimate buckling strength of square section members are evaluated by a numerical method in accordance with the bending moment-axial force(M-P) interaction curves. The behavior of each specimen is displayed in the form of moment-angle(M-θ) relationship. The numerically obtained ultimate buckling interaction curves of beam-columns showed a reasonably good agreement with the available experimental results.

This paper is concerned with measuring of rotation movement signals using micro computer with A/D convertor. The system was consisted of the coil pairs using the electromagnetic method, micro computer, A/D convertor and the data was processed by using the micro computer. Signals of rotation movement were converted to digital data by the A/D converter of the successive approximated type in order to provide the flexibility of the data processing. The A/D converter was controlled by the micro computer and the converted datas was stored on the floppy disk and data was processed to get the velocity and acceleration of the rotation movement. The central difference algorithm was the fittest to process the rotation movement signals and we developed the programs on the basis of the algorithm. Through the data processing, these programs were well done and the numerical values of the velocity and acceleration of the rotation movements were got easily.

This study was to experiment, through sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the effects of reaction condition come up to sludge water content. The results are as follows 1) On accassion the sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the effect of pressure come up to water content, the water content decreased when the same reaction temperature and time was lower pressure more than the normal pressure(760㎜Hg), particularly. Since pressure 280㎜Hg increased water content decrease range. Since pressure(250㎜Hg) the water boiling point down sharply a phenomenon and the lower pressure lowered the water boiling point a phenomenon, the same sewage sludge water content evaporated rapidly the lower pressure more than the normal pressure. Accordingly, a close vacuum(40㎜Hg), showed very lower water content when a short reaction temperature and reaction time. 2) On accassion the sewage sludge treatment by vacuum Frying Method, the effect of reaction time come u to sludge water content, at the same reaction pressure and temperature, relatively the water content at a low reaction temperature(90℃, 120℃) decreased small in case of a long reaction time, the water content at a high reaction temperature(150℃, 180℃) decreased rapidly in case of a short reaction time. 3) On accassion the sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the effect of come up to sludge water content, at the same reaction time and pressure, increase of reaction temperature decreased rapidly the water content.
생활폐기물 처리에 관한 시민 의식조사에 대한 연구 : Food Waste 음식물 쓰레기를 중심으로

A questionary survey was conducted to investigate citizen's attitude to the treatment of food wastes in Miryang city. In this study, collection efficiencies was 87.8%, as 281 individuals among 320 individuals. After volume-base charge system, 86.8% of answers perform source separation and 60.9% of respondents separate everything of recycle goods. The majority of respondents discharge food waste using standard envelope. The biggest problems for deposition of the food wastes are offensive odor and worm for reasons of sanitation. Almost citizens think that the period of deposition suit from two days to three days. More than 90.0% of the citizens recognize that compost product made from food wastes and recognition of the people for the composting and composting facilities was affirmative. Majority of the respondents thought that the administration and the provincial government need activity publicity for the source separation fixation of the food wastes.

The principal parameters in this study are slenderness ratios(L_(k)/r = 30, 50, 70) and magnitude of eccentricity e(0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10㎝) on the symmetrical end moment. Objectives this study are to obtain the maximum loads by performing an experimental work and to compare the experimental behaviors with analytical results. The ultimate buckling strength of CHS members are evaluated by a numerical method in accordance with the axial force-bending moment(P-M) interaction curves. The behavior of each specimen is displayed in the form of moment angle(M- θ) relationship. The numerically obtained ultimate buckling interaction curves of beam columns show a reasonably good agreement with the available experimental results of slenderness ratios(L_(k)/r = 30, 50). But experimental results of slenderness ratios 70 were below M-P interaction curve.
