SmCo5 is well known for its high coercivity. However, still room is available to increase the coercive power of SmCo5, since the theoretical values of the compound is far higher than the achieved values. Different attempts, in this regard, have been made either by controlling the microstructure or the chemical composition. However, it is noted that no or very few literature is available regarding the control of microstructure through solidification. Three types of SmCo5 compound were prepared through induction melting technique so that final solidification be manipulated by controlling the mold temperature. Fractrographic analysis revealed a unique peritectic structure in SmCo5 compound. It was observed that the peritectic plates, having nano-size thickness, remain present even after high temperature sintering operation. The nano-scale peritectic plates may affect the final magnetic properties, especially the coercivity of the subject compound.

The issue "Exploring Social Media and Other Crucial Success Elements of Attitude towards Politics and Intention for Voting in Pakistan" is a huge study embracing more issues. The politics of Pakistan is basically the politics of semantic groups. Pakistan is a multilingual state more than six languages. There are 245 religious parties in Pakistan, as elaborated by the Daily Times research. The use of social media sites in Pakistan peaked to its maximum after announcement of election schedule by the Election Commission of Pakistan in March 22, 2013. Most of the political parties used it for the recent elections in Pakistan to promote their agenda and attract country's 80 million registered electors. This study was aiming to investigate the role of social media and other critical variables in the attitude towards politics and intention for voting.
High Quality Network and Device Aware Multimedia Content Delivery for Mobile Cloud
( Muhammad Saleem ),( Yasir Saleem ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2019 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.13 No.10
The use of mobile devices is increasing in multimedia applications. The multimedia contents are delivered to mobile users over heterogeneous networks. Due to fluctuation in bandwidth and user mobility, the service providers are facing difficulties in providing Quality of Service (QoS) guaranteed delivery for multimedia applications. Multimedia applications depend on QoS parameters such as delay, bandwidth, and jitter to offer better user experience. The existing schemes use the single source and multisource delivery but are unable to balance between stream quality and network congestion for mobile users. We proposed a Quality Oriented Multimedia Content Delivery Scheme (QOMCDS) for the mobile cloud to deliver better quality multimedia contents for the mobile user. The multimedia contents are delivered to the mobile device based on the device’s parameters and network environment. The objective video quality assessment models like Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity (SSIM), and Video Quality Measurement (VQM) are used to measure the quality of the video. The client side Quality of Experience metric such as Startup delay, Rebuffering events, and Bitrate switch count was used for evaluation. The proposed scheme is evaluated using dash.js and is compared to existing schemes. The results show significant improvement over existing multimedia content delivery schemes.
Chromo/Fluorogenic Detection of Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+ by the Simple Schiff Base Sensor
Saleem, M.,Khang, C. H.,kim, M. H.,Lee, K. H. Springer Science + Business Media 2016 Journal of fluorescence Vol.26 No.1

Herein, we reported the ditriazole Schiff base derivative 1 and evaluated its photophysical properties on induction of varieties of metal ions including Na+, Ag+, Ni2+, Mn2+, Pd2+, Co2+, Hg2+, Cu2+, Pb2+, Cd2+, Zn2+, Sn2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Cr3+ and Al3+, in order to figure out its potential as ion sensor. The ligand 1 exhibited the strong colorimetric change in the reaction solution as well as absorption spectral shifting with the concomitant appearance of well-defined isosbestic points only upon Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+ addition corroborates its applicability as multichannel ion detector. The different extent of spectral shifting as well as unique chromogenic change in the probe solution upon Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+ introduction can be used as the discrimination tool for these metal ions. The ligand-metal binding stoichiometry was assessed by their optical response which was further supported by the FT-IR, NMR and mass spectrometric analysis. The association constant and the detection limits of the ligand toward Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+ ions were calculated to be 1.52 x 10(-8), 3.26 x 10(-9), 1.16 x 10(-8) and 3.87 x 10(-10), 5.47 x 10(-11), 8.91 x 10(-11) M, respectively, employing the Benesi-Hilderbrand equation and 3 sigma slope(-1) methods. Furthermore, the successive addition of Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+ induce the constant decline in the fluorescence emission signal intensity of the probe. The quenching efficiency of the probe upon metallic induction was fitted to the Stern-Volmer equation which yielded the upward curvature in case of all the three metals ions (Co2+, Hg2+ and Cu2+) when (I-o/I-1) was plotted against the quencher concentration indicating the occurrence of both the dynamic and static quenching process in the system with the average Stern-Volmer quenching constant values of 9.25 x 10(-7), 1.14 x 10(-7), 1.829 x 10(-7), respectively.

A Close Reading of Genesis 38:1-30
( Saleem S. Younas ) 아세아연합신학대학교 신학연구소 2014 ACTS 신학저널 Vol.20 No.-
For the critical scholars, the narrative of Judah and Tamar obviously interrupts the Joseph story and stands alone independently regardless of its previous and following context. Therefore, some put Genesis 38 after Joseph’s account or omitted from its present location. Some even wonder whether there is any moral or theological message for its readers. But for others, the positioning of Genesis 38 within the Joseph story can hardly be accidental. From the author’s perspective, it plays an important role in the redemptive history of the Bible and develops the central theme of the book. In this context, Joseph and Tamar both share some common features, in that God used them to preserve the promised seed. Tamar was mistreated by her husbands andfather-in-law, but her role in the preservation of the promised seed is highly admired. Likewise, Joseph was wronged by his brothers and sold out into slavery, but the Lord chose him to preserve Jacob’s whole family in Egypt. Genesis 38 traces the Davidic ancestry and finally leads to the Promised Messiah. It also indicates the turning point in Judah’s life, as well as transformation of his character. The narrator focuses our attention on God’s sovereignty in all the circumstances. He explains that human weaknesses or failures cannot fail God’s redemptive plan.

Abstract

Capacitive deionization (CDI), an electrochemical desalination technology, was numerically coupled with pressure-retarded osmosis (PRO), a salinity gradient power generation technology, for water and energy production. A novel multi-pass desorption process was employed for CDI, result in a high freshwater recovery and highly concentrated desorption effluent. The high and low concentrated streams produced by the electrochemical CDI system were used in PRO as continuous draw and feed solutions, respectively. The integrated CDI-PRO system performance was mathematically assessed in terms of water recovery (WR), concentrated gain ratio (CGR), PRO power generation, and overall power consumption for different desorption flow rates, applied currents, and number of desorption passes. The WR and CGR values in the electrochemical desalination system (CDI) increased to 98% and 59, respectively, as the number of desorption passes were increased to six in addition to a decrease of the desorption flow rate to 0.4 mL/s. Almost 96.7% of the fresh water was recovered and a desorption effluent concentration of 1.2 M was obtained from the six-pass desorption method with a 0.8 mL/s flow rate using the CDI-PRO integrated system. Treated water with concentration of 0.016 M from the adsorption process and concentrated water with the concentration of 1.2 M from the desorption processes of CDI system were used as the feed and draw streams, respectively. PRO system produced a power density of 8 W m−2 in this integrated system. Furthermore, 2.2 kJ/L of energy consumption for water production without process integration is reduced to 0.67 kJ/L through the implementation of the proposed system.

Highlights

Electrochemical desalination system is integrated with renewable energy generation process.

Capacitive deionization process with novel multi-pass desorption system was employed.

Electrochemically artificial salinity gradient produced for energy production through PRO

Concentration gain ratio, water recovery, and energy consumption are used for performance assessment.

Graphical abstract

[DISPLAY OMISSION]
