Exploring Image Processing and Image Restoration Techniques

Omarov, Batyrkhan Sultanovich,Altayeva, Aigerim Bakatkaliyevna,Cho, Young Im Korean Institute of Intelligent Systems 2015 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of FUZZY LOGIC and INTELLIGE Vol.15 No.3

Because of the development of computers and high-technology applications, all devices that we use have become more intelligent. In recent years, security and surveillance systems have become more complicated as well. Before new technologies included video surveillance systems, security cameras were used only for recording events as they occurred, and a human had to analyze the recorded data. Nowadays, computers are used for video analytics, and video surveillance systems have become more autonomous and automated. The types of security cameras have also changed, and the market offers different kinds of cameras with integrated software. Even though there is a variety of hardware, their capabilities leave a lot to be desired. Therefore, this drawback is trying to compensate by dint of computer program solutions. Image processing is a very important part of video surveillance and security systems. Capturing an image exactly as it appears in the real world is difficult if not impossible. There is always noise to deal with. This is caused by the graininess of the emulsion, low resolution of the camera sensors, motion blur caused by movements and drag, focus problems, depth-of-field issues, or the imperfect nature of the camera lens. This paper reviews image processing, pattern recognition, and image digitization techniques, which will be useful in security services, to analyze bio-images, for image restoration, and for object classification.

The paper studies the behavior of the Web Services deployed on the cloud, and investigates their performance and the instability of the underlying communication medium. Our result shows how these two factors affect the dependability of cloud-based Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). This study is based on our experiments with the Web Services which were deployed and run on Amazon. We deployed the same service on several Amazon locations and analyzed variations in the response time and the ratio between delays and standard deviation of the average values.

      • Applying of Audioanalytics for Determining Contingencies

Bakhytzhan Omarov 제어로봇시스템학회 2017 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2017 No.10

While video analysis has become a standard feature of many security cameras, built audioanalytics remains relatively rare, despite the presence of both the audio channels in the devices and the available computing power to process audio data. However, audioanalytics has certain advantages over video analytics: microphones and maintenance cost is significantly less expensive than cameras; when the system is in real-time audio data stream is substantially less in volume than the flow of data from the video cameras, which imposes more loyal to the bandwidth requirements of data transmission channel. Audioanalytics systems can be especially in demand for urban surveillance, where you can automatically start to broadcast live video on the police control from the place of explosion and fire. Audioanalytics technology can also be used in the study and recording of certain events. In this study, we consider methods to identify audio event recognition, create a surveillance model using audioanalyitics methods and identify audio events by experiments.

      • Machine Learning Approach to Identifying Depression Related Posts on Social Media

        Sergazy Narynov,Daniyar Mukhtarkhanuly,Batyrkhan Omarov,Kanat Kozhakhmet,Bauyrzhan Omarov 제어로봇시스템학회 2020 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2020 No.10

According to the latest who data published in 2017, the number of suicides in Kazakhstan was 4855, or 3.55% of the total number of deaths. The age-adjusted death rate is 27.74 per 100,000 population. Kazakhstan is ranked 4th in the world by this indicator. This article compares machine learning algorithms with and without a teacher to identify depressive content in social media posts, with a focus on hopelessness and psychological pain for semantic analysis as key causes of suicide. Suicide is not spontaneous, and preparation for suicide can last about a year, during which time a person will show signs of their condition in our case by posting depressive content on their social network profile. This algorithm helps in detecting depressive content that can cause suicide to help people find confident help from psychologists at the national center for suicide prevention in Kazakhstan. Having obtained the highest score for 95% of the f1 score for a random forest (training with a teacher) with the tf-idf vectorization model, we can conclude by saying that the K-means algorithm(training without a teacher) using tf-idf shows impressive results that are only 4% lower in f1 and accuracy.

      • Development of Multi-agent Systems With Distributed Solutions for Energy Problems

        Aigerim Altayeva,Batyrkhan Omarov,Young Im Cho 제어로봇시스템학회 2017 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2017 No.10

In modern conditions, the functioning and management of electric power systems requires the creation of a computational model for large-scale schemes based on methods for estimating the state. Such schemes are not fully observable, data may be distorted, their synchronization is poor and, as a consequence, the adoption of incorrect decisions based on the calculation model. At present, the agent approach is not applied to the development of systems aimed at solving problems in the field of electric power industry and assessing the states of electric power systems in particular. The proposed approach to the development of multi-agent systems should enable the interaction of agents created on different software platforms, create new ones and edit existing algorithms in the system through agent scenarios. An approach to creating multi-agent systems for estimating the states of electric power systems with the possibility of cross-platform interactions and agent scenarios is developed. The proposed approach was tested on a test system, and at the moment a system is being developed for assessing the state of electric power systems.
