      • Microwave Network Study by Bond Graph Approach. Application to Tow-Port Network Filter

Jmal, Sabri,Taghouti, Hichem,Mami, Abdelkader International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2022 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.22 No.1

There are much processing techniques of microwave circuits, whose dimensions are small compared to the wavelength, but the disadvantage is that they cannot be directly applied to circuits working at high and/or low frequencies. In this article, we will consider the bond graph approach as a tool for analyzing and understanding the behavior of microwave circuits, and to show how basic circuit and network concepts can be extended to handle many microwaves analysis and design problems of practical interest. This behavior revealed in the scattering matrix filter, and which will be operated from its reduced bond graph model. So, we propose in this paper, a new application of bond graph approach jointly with the scattering bond graph for a high frequency study.

Generalization of the memory integer model for the analysis of the quasi-static behaviour of polyurethane foams

Hamdi Jmal,Ming Lei Ju,Raphael Dupuis,Evelyne Aubry 대한기계학회 2014 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.28 No.11

Polyurethane foam is a cellular material characterized by an interesting mechanical spectrum of properties: low density, capacity to absorbthe deformation energy and low stiffness. This spectrum of properties makes polyurethane foam commonly used in many thermal, acoustic and comfort applications. Several models, such as memory, hyper-elastic and pseudo-elastic models have been developed in theliterature to describe the mechanical response of polyurethane foam under quasi-static and dynamic test conditions. The main disadvantageof these models is the dependence of their parameters against the test conditions (strain rate, maximum compression level, etc). Thisaffects the general character of their representativeness to the quasi-static and dynamic behaviours of polyurethane foam. The main goalof this article is to implement reliable mechanical model which is able to provide the quasi-static response of the polyurethane foam underdifferent strain rates and large compressive deformation. The dimensional parameters of our model can be expressed by the productof two independent parts; the first contain only the test conditions and the second define the dimensionless and invariant parameters thatcharacterize the foam material. The developed model has been proposed after several experimental studies allowing the apprehension ofthe quasi-static behaviour (through unidirectional compression tests). The polyurethane foam, under large deformations, exhibits anonlinear elastic behaviour and viscoelastic behaviour. To assess the ability of our model to be a general representation, three industrialpolyurethane foams have been considered.

Using of Scattering Bond Graph Methodology for a Physical Characteristics Analysis of “D-CRLH” Transmission Line

Taghouti, Hichem,Jmal, Sabri,Mami, Abdelkader The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers 2016 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.11 No.4

In this paper, we propose to analyze the physical characteristics of a planar dual-composite right-left handed transmission line by a common application of Bond Graph approach and Scattering formalism (Methodology S.BG). The technique, we propose consists, on the one hand, of modeling of a dual composite right-left metamaterial transmission line (D-CRLH-TL) by Bond Graph approach, and, it consists of extracting the equivalent circuit of this studied structure. On the other hand, it consists to exploiting the scattering parameters (Scattering matrix) of the DCRLH-TL using the methodology which we previously developed since 2009. Finally, the validation of the proposed and used technique is carried out by comparisons between the simulations results with ADS and Maple (or MatLab).
