        Korea Provisional Government Police Organization and Activities

        Purpose: The modern police of the Republic of Korea today were established in Shanghai on April 11, 1919 by the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, and moved to various areas of China for 27 years until the liberation of the country in 1945 for independence movement. In the face of such hardship, the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea needs to be aware of the police organization and activities of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, which belongs to the Ministry of Interior as head of administration. Method: The Civil Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the head of the administration of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, confirmed through literature evidence that Kim Gu was the apex and tried to change the organization while breaking through the crisis. The police organization of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea was active in 1919 with the Police Department and Yeong-Tong-je, 1923 with the Police Department, 1941 with the Guards, and with the 1943 with the Police Department, referring to the Baekbeom Ilji, the National History Compilation Committee, the National Police Agency documents, and the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea data book. Results: The focus of this study is to give the meaning of finding the issue of Police Day and the legitimacy of the police. The result suggested by this study was an opportunity to overcome the dark period of loss of the country signed by the Eulsa Treaty in 1910 by examining the organizational structure of the Police Department of the Korean Empire and the Police Department of the Provisional Government of the Provisional Government in the Joseon Dynasty. Conclusion: It was judged that it could affect the continuity of the current Korean police, and research was conducted. Also, in response to the common truth that 'as long as there is a state, there is a police', the police organization of the Provisional Government did not change its name even during the Japanese imperialism period.         The Current Situation and Countermeasures of Cyber Crime Under the Korean PENDEMIC: Focused on the Northern Gyeonggi Province Investigation

        Purpose: In this study, the actual situation of cyber crimes under the pendemic situation of 12 police stations under the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency, which occurred mainly in the northern Gyeonggi province, was investigated, and the countermeasures were studied by identifying how users motivations for using them affect their perception of criminal behavior. Method: Based on this, the study is meaningful in that it provides basic data for preventing future cyber crimes and responding to cyber crimes. Although the Korean police only exposed the actual situation of cyber direct transaction fraud, game fraud, shopping mall fraud, and other crimes using messengers under the pendemic state, we will also shed light on cyber crimes such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Toc, and Telegram, which are metaverses. There is a need. Results: As for the monthly occurrence of cyber crimes of the Northern Provincial Police Agency, there were 642 cases of direct transaction fraud in November 2019, during the early phase of the pandemic due to Corona 19, 2 cases of shopping mall scams, 78 cases of game scams, and 34 cases of other messenger scams. In December 2019, 336 cases of direct transaction fraud occurred, 3 cases of shopping mall scams, 29 cases of game scams, and 28 cases of other messenger scams. Conclusion: When the police who leave brilliant cultural achievements think about the status of police officers leading the advanced social and national security administration in the era of national income of 30,000 dollars, they dream of cyber culture safety. The police, dreaming of the advent of the peaceful era of cyber culture, stand for the benefit of the people you ll have to do it.

        Score–moment combined linear discrimination analysis (SMC-LDA) as an improved discrimination method

        <P>A new discrimination method called the score–moment combined linear discrimination analysis (SMC-LDA) has been developed and its performance has been evaluated using three practical spectroscopic datasets. The key concept of SMC-LDA was to use not only the score from principal component analysis (PCA), but also the moment of the spectrum, as inputs for LDA to improve discrimination. Along with conventional score, moment is used in spectroscopic fields as an effective alternative for spectral feature representation. Three different approaches were considered. Initially, the score generated from PCA was projected onto a two-dimensional feature space by maximizing Fisher's criterion function (conventional PCA-LDA). Next, the same procedure was performed using only moment. Finally, both score and moment were utilized simultaneously for LDA. To evaluate discrimination performances, three different spectroscopic datasets were employed: (1) infrared (IR) spectra of normal and malignant stomach tissue, (2) near-infrared (NIR) spectra of diesel and light gas oil (LGO) and (3) Raman spectra of Chinese and Korean ginseng. For each case, the best discrimination results were achieved when both score and moment were used for LDA (SMC-LDA).       • Effect of Muscle Vibration on Postural Balance of Parkinson’s Diseases Patients in Bipedal Quiet Standing

        <P> [Purpose] The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of muscle vibration applied to the lower extremities on static postural balance of patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). [Subjects] Seven subjects with Parkinson’s disease participated in this study. [Methods] The oscillators of vibration were attached to the muscle bellies of the tibialis anterior, gastrocnemius, biceps femoris, and rectus femoris on both sides of the lower extremities with adhesive tape. A vibration frequency of 60 Hz was used to induce static postural reactions. Subjects’ center of pressure (COP) sway and peak ground reaction force (GRF) were measured with their eyes open with and without vibration. COP sway and peak GRF (Fx, Fy, Fz) were measured using a force plate (AMTI, Newton, USA), which provides x, y and z coordinates of body movement. [Results] The area of COP sway with vibration was significantly smaller than that with no vibration, but the length of COP sway showed no difference between two conditions. Peak medial-lateral maximum force (Fy) with vibration was significantly higher than that with no vibration, but peak anterior-posterior force (Fx) and peak vertical force (Fz) showed no differences. [Conclusion] These results suggest that vibration applied to the lower extremities can help PD patients control postural balance during quiet standing.</P>

        Voltage Measurement Accuracy Assessment System for Distribution Equipment of Smart Distribution Network

        A new system for evaluating the voltage management errors of distribution equipment is presented in this paper. The main concept of the new system is to use real distribution live-line voltage to evaluate and correct the voltage measurement data from distribution equipment. This new approach is suitable for a new Distribution Management System (DMS) which has been developed for a distribution power system due to the connection of distributed generation growth. The data from distribution equipment that is installed at distribution lines must be accurate for the performance of the DMS. The proposed system is expected to provide a solution for voltage measurement accuracy assessment for the reliable and efficient operation of the DMS. An experimental study on actual distribution equipment verifies that this voltage measurement accuracy assessment system can assess and calibrate the voltage measurement data from distribution equipment installed at the distribution line.

        Smartphone Color-Code based Gate Security Control

        Smart building gate security control system using smartphone integrated with near field communication (NFC) has become part of daily life usage these days. The technology change in replacing RF NFC device using visible light communication technology based approach growing faster in recent days. This paper propose a design and development of gate security control system using color code based user authentication ID generation as part of an intelligent access control system to control automatic door open and close. In this approach gate security access control use the recent visible light communication technology trends to transfer the user specific authentication code to door access control system using color code on smartphone screen. Using a camera in the door access control system (ACS), color codes on smartphone screens are detected and matched to the database of authenticated user to open the door automatically in gate security system. We measure the visual light communication technology efficiency as a part of the research and the experiments have revealed that more than 95% users authenticated correctly at the suggested experiment environment on gate security control system.

        A Collaborative Knowledge Management in Wiki-based Project Learning

        본 논문은 위키 기반 프로젝트 학습에서 지식관리 유형에 대한 연구이다. 프로젝트 학습에서 학습자에게 일어나 는 지식의 흐름을 분석하기 위하여 SECI 지식관리 이론을 적용하여 위키 프로젝트 학습 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템을 통하여 프로젝트 학습을 진행하여 단계별 지식관리의 유형을 분석하였다. 분석결과 예비계획 단계에서 암 묵 지를 바탕으로 새로운 지식을 만드는 표출화가 두드러지게 나타났다. 그리고 주제결정 단계와 활동계획 단계에서 지 식의 연결화 과정이 나타났다. 또한 탐구 및 토의단계에서는 표출화와 연결화가 두드러지며 내면화 유형이 타나나 기 시작했다. 결과공유 단계에서는 지식의 연결화가 가장 많이 나타났다. 여섯째, 반성 및 평가단계에서는 내면화 유형 이 가장 많이 나타났으며, 지식의 평가를 위한 연결화 과정도 보였다. 이 연구는 프로젝트 학습에서 학습자의 지식관리 유형을 밝혀냄으로써 프로젝트 학습모형의 정교화에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. This study is about the system for knowledge management in the Wiki-based project learning. We implement the Wiki-based project learning system which is focused on a new Web paradigm and technology development to grasp the knowledge flow of a learner effectively under a project learning condition. Implementation of the system has used a Web 2.0 technology to easily understand SECI Knowledge Management types which form the Externalization, Combination and Internalization steps. Moreover, the system structure has been designed instinctively for harmonious knowledge use or reuse. As a result of the experiment, we found out that the collaborative knowledge steps moved along the flow of project learning.

      • Simultaneous Enhancement of Methylene Blue Degradation and Power Generation in a Microbial Fuel Cell by Gold Nanoparticles

        <P>This study examined the effect of positively charged gold nanoparticles [(+)AuNPs] on the enhancement of methylene blue (MB) degradation in a microbial fuel cell (MFC) cathode. Complete MB degradation and a maximum electricity production of 36.56 mW/m<SUP>2</SUP> were achieved simultaneously. The MFC performance and MB degradation were found to be strictly dependent on the cathodic conditions, such as N<SUB>2</SUB> bubbling, air bubbling, and addition of H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>. MB was reduced rapidly under anaerobic conditions, whereas complete oxidative mineralization of MB occurred in the presence of dissolved oxygen (DO) or H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>. (+)AuNPs enhanced the electricity generation in the MFCs involving MB degradation owing to its electron-relay effect. The presence of both (+)AuNPs and H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> produced the greatest enhancement in MB degradation. After 5 h, almost all of the MB (98%) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) (96%) had been removed in the presence of (+)AuNPs, whereas only 57.4% of the MB and 40% of the COD had been removed in the absence of (+)AuNPs.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/iecred/2013/iecred.2013.52.issue-24/ie4006244/production/images/medium/ie-2013-006244_0009.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/ie4006244'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
