AAC(보완대체 의사소통)의 중증 정신지체아동 적용에 대한 태도 연구 : 특수교육·재활 관련 전공 대학생들을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 AAC(보완대체 의사소통)의 중증 정신지체아동 적용에 대하여 특수교육 및 재활관련 전공 대학생 104명을 대상으로 필요도, 인식도, 중요도 등을 조사한 태도 연구이다. 각 집단에 대하여 빈도분석을 실시하고 성별, 전공별, 학년별, 장애인과의 접촉유무별, AAC 과목 수강여부별, 실습여부별 등에 따른 차이를 검정하기 위하여 x^2 검정을 실시하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전체적으로 필요도 및 중요도 영역에서는 높은 결과가 나타났으나 인식도 영역에서는 낮은 결과가 나타났다. 이는 재활관련 및 특수교육 분야와 관련이 있는 대학 내에서 AAC 관련 전문과목의 편성 및 교육이 필요하며, 현장에서의 AAC 교육 및 실습 등이 이루어져야함을 시사하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the university students' attitudes toward the augmentative and alternative communication(AAC) use in children with severe mental retardation. One-hundred-four university students who major in rehabilitation science or special education self-administered questionnaires on the necessity, the awareness, and the importance of AAC use. The frequency analysis and the chi-square test were used to analyze the trend and the differences among groups of different gender, areas of study, years in the university, experiences of interacting with people with disabilities, training in AAC classes, and practical training experiences. The results of the survey show that overall awareness about AAC use was lower than the subjects' perceived necessity of AAC methods. The rated importance of the AAC use by the subjects were high in all survey items. Students who had attended AAC classes and had practical training experience showed more positive attitude to the AAC use. The results of the present study suggest that the professional AAC curriculum development along with practical training is an important factor in promoting public awareness on the AAC use for the people with disabilities.
비타민C 파괴 Kinetics를 이용한 감압마이크로웨이브 시스템내의 온도 예측

To measure temperature in microwave heating condition by thermocouple or thermistor is limited. In order to overcome this problem kinetics of ascorbic acid destruction was introduced. Activation energy for destruction of ascorbic acid was obtained under conventional heating condition. Arrehnius equation was used for prediction of rate constant under microwave vacuum heating condition. Then prediction of temperature could be obtained by using kinetic of ascorbic acid destruction that is calulated by the predicted rate constant.

Off-flavor in foods or raw materials have been concerned. Reduction methods of offflavor in foods such as raw materials of soybean paste, meat and fishery were studied through literature review. In order to reduce off-flavor several methods were tried such as masking or binding of off-flavor, improving cooking process, inhibiting rancidity, and inactivation of undesirable enzyme. Nutritional aspect and its safety should be considered but the approach to overcome the problem was not scientific and systematic. In this study systematic approach was accomplished and analyzed for reducing off-flavor and to improve flavor of foods and raw material. It would be useful for applying masking or binding of off-flavor, improving cooking process, inhibiting rancidity, and inactivation of undesirable enzyme for reduction of off-flavor in Korean foods as well as new product development.

<P>The purpose of this study was to develop a DNA marker for the identification of fish species in processed surimi products. A DNA marker was designed based on the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene, and fish species in surimi products were identified using a molecular fingerprinting technique, denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE); the results were subjected to sequence-based analysis. The DGGE profiles indicated the presence in surimi products of a greater diversity of fish species than reported previously: 20 species belonging to 16 genera were identified. Therefore, our method facilitates the simple and rapid detection and identification of fish species in seafood products produced from minced fish. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.</P>

<P>Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), which degrades the extracellular matrix (ECM), plays an important role in breast cancer cell invasion. NF-kappa B and AP-1 are known to induce MMP-9 expression. We investigated whether cordycepin, an NF-kappa B or AP-1 inhibitor, can modulate MMP-9 expression and cell invasion in MCF-7 cells. Toxicity of cordycepin was determined by 3-(4,5-dimethyl-thiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. MMP-9 expression was determined by real-time PCR, Zymography, and Western blot analysis. AP-1 activation was assayed by electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA). MAPK signaling was evaluated by Western blotting with specific p-ERK, and ERK, p-p38, p38, p-JNK, JNK antibodies. Cordycepin suppressed AP-1 activation, but not NF-kappa B activation in 12-O-tetradecanoylpho-bol-13-acetate (TPA)-treated MCF-7 cells. Cordycepin inhibits TPA-induced MMP-9 expression and cell invasion by suppressing AP-1 activation. Also, cordycepin suppressed the MAPK signaling pathway. Cordycepin is a potent inhibitor of TPA-induced MMP-9 expression and blocks strongly the ability of AP-1 activation via MAPK signaling pathway in MCF-7 cells.</P>
Alcohol Induced Hepatic Degeneration in a Hepatitis C Virus Core Protein Transgenic Mouse Model

<P>Hepatitis C virus (HCV) has become a major public health issue. It is prevalent in most countries. HCV infection frequently begins without clinical symptoms, before progressing to persistent viremia, chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in the majority of patients (70% to 80%). Alcohol is an independent cofactor that accelerates the development of HCC in chronic hepatitis C patients. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate ethanol-induced hepatic changes in HCV core-Tg mice and mutant core Tg mice. Wild type (NTG), core wild-Tg mice (TG-K), mutant core 116-Tg mice (TG-116) and mutant core 99-Tg mice (TG-99) were used in this investigation. All groups were given drinking water with 10% ethanol and 5% sucrose for 13 weeks. To observe liver morphological changes, we performed histopathological and immunohistochemical examinations. Histopathologically, NTG, TG-K and TG-116 mice showed moderate centrilobular necrosis, while severe centrilobular necrosis and hepatocyte dissociation were observed in TG-99 mice with increasing lymphocyte infiltration and piecemeal necrosis. In all groups, a small amount of collagen fiber was found, principally in portal areas. None of the mice were found to have myofibroblasts based on immunohistochemical staining specific for α-SMA. CYP2E1-positive cells were clearly detected in the centrilobular area in all groups. In the TG-99 mice, we also observed cells positive for CK8/18, TGF-β1 and phosphorylated (p)-Smad2/3 and p21 around the necrotic hepatocytes in the centrilobular area (<I>p</I> < 0.01). Based on our data, alcohol intake induced piecemeal necrosis and hepatocyte dissociation in the TG-99 mice. These phenomena involved activation of the TGF-β1/p-Smad2/3/p21 signaling pathway in hepatocytes. Data from this study will be useful for elucidating the association between alcohol intake and HCV infection.</P>
