Usability has been regarded as the most significant principle at designing web sites. The 'Fun' elements causing fun emotion, however, can be more important for some web sites especially developed for specific purposes. Movie publicizing web sites contain various multimedia such as motion graphic, voice of actor and actress, interactive game inducing users to feel the 'Fun'. Eleven elements which induces the 'fun' feeling was extracted from the magazine jungle web sites and fifteen movie publicizing web sites were evaluated. The elements were then analyzed by using a questionnaire and web design guideline was suggested which might induce the 'Fun' feeling of web sites.

New design method has been required for web designers to grasp the proper emotion, impression, and feeling of users evoked by visiting a web site and reflect these elements in web design. It is certain that such a new method can be a useful design tool, since web designers have only relied on their intuition and experience to induce users to perceive specific emotion of web sites. In this study, Kansei Engineering Type Ⅰ(Nagamachi 2002, Park 2000) was introduced to develop the methodology. The statistical methods and quantitative evaluation method using balance, overall density, and homogeneity were also introduced. The cause-and-effect between the results of emotional and quantitative analysis was examined by employing multiple regression and which could applied to the practical web design inducing specific emotion. The research method and procedures applied to this study would be applicable to design studies related to the emotional inducement.
Effect of Halloysite Clay on Magnetic Carbonyl Iron-Based Magnetorheological Fluid
Cheng Hai Hong,Hyoung Jin Choi IEEE 2014 IEEE transactions on magnetics Vol.50 No.11

Soft magnetic carbonyl iron (CI)-based magnetorheological (MR) fluids with different loadings of halloysite nanoclay were prepared, in which the MR fluid is a complex colloidal suspension consisting of magnetic particles dispersed in a liquid, showing its rapid, reversible, and tunable change between a liquid-like and solid-like state with an applied external magnetic field. The MR characteristics were measured via rotational tests, in which the flow curves exhibited a non-Newtonian behavior for all investigated samples under applied magnetic fields. Flow curves showed not only the dynamic yield stress change measured as a function of magnetic field strength using a power law fit, but also the existence of a solid-like character. Sedimentation of the MR fluid with and without an additive was also examined.

Shear Stress and Dielectric Analysis of H3PO4 Doped Polyaniline Based Electrorheological Fluid
Hong, Cheng Hai,Choi, Hyoung Jin Taylor & Francis 2007 Journal of Macromolecular Science. Part B Vol.46 No.4

We synthesized phosphoric acid (PA) doped polyaniline (PANI) particles (PANI-PA) and investigated their electrorheological (ER) and dielectric characteristics when they were dispersed in silicone oil. Flow curves of the PANI-PA based ER fluid under several applied electric field strengths were analyzed using a shear stress model. We also examined ER characteristics based on the relaxation time obtained from the dielectric spectrum.

Shear stress analysis of phosphorylated potato starch based electrorheological fluid
Hong, Cheng-Hai,Choi, Hyoung-Jin The Korean Society of Rheology 2007 Korea-Australia rheology journal Vol.19 No.4
Electrorheological characteristics of a dispersed system of phosphorylated potato starch particles in silicone oil investigated via a rotational rheometer equipped with a high voltage generator is being reanalysized. Flow curves of these ER fluids both under several applied electric field strengths and with different degrees of phosphate substitution were mainly examined via three different rheological constitutive equations of Bingham model, De Kee-Turcotte model and our previously proposed CCJ model. Among these, the CCJ equation was found to fit the data of phosphorylated potato starch well.

Cheng, De-Jun,Yang, Wan-Suk,Park, Je-Hong,Park, Tae-Jo,Kim, Su-Jin,Kim, Gyung-Ho,Park, Chun-Hong 한국정밀공학회 2014 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.15 No.3
Friction is a characteristic that can be found in machine elements in common engineering use, and it has great effect on the machining performance of a machine tool. Linear motion (LM) guides supported by rolling elements are used for accurate positioning of precision machine. For accurate positioning, the frictional behavior of the LM guide must be understood. In this investigation, a new experiment is conducted to measure friction, and the behavior of LM roller guide friction is measured under various external loads, preloads, velocities, and lubricants. The results obtained from experiment are compared with reference data, and the experimental friction equation of LM roller guide THK SRG25 is achieved from experiment, which can be used to calculate LM roller guide friction and control positioning accuracy.
