This paper depicts the design, implementation and analysis of efficient resonant based wireless power transfer (WPT) technique using three magnetic coupled coils. This work is suitable for mid ranged device due to small form factor while minimizing the loading effect. A multi turned loop size resonator is exploited for both the transmitter and receiver for longer distance. In this paper, class-E power amplifier (class-E PA) is introduced with an optimum power tracking mechanism of WPT system to enhance the power capability at mid-range with a flat gain. A robust method of finding optimum distance is derived with an experimental analysis of the designed system. In this method, the load sensitive issue of WPT is resolved by tuning coupling coefficient at considerable distances. Our designed PA with a drain efficiency of 77.8% for a maximum output of 5W is used with adopted tuning technique that improves the overall WPT system performance by 3 dB at various operating points.
Buckling of Short Columns having Non-Symmetric Responses in Tension and Compression
Muhammad Anowar Hossain,Won Jo Park 대한기계학회 2007 대한기계학회 춘추학술대회 Vol.2007 No.11
A new numerical scheme based on finite difference technique associated with a special iterative scheme, has been devised and used to trace the load-deflection curves (equilibrium configuration paths) of a column that has highly non-linear and prominent non-symmetric responses in tension and compression. Next, Thompson's two theorems are used to interpret the critical load for the column from those load-deflection curves. To utilize the fruitfulness of the devised method, however, experimentally obtained stress-strain curves of superelastic shape memory alloy (SMA), having significantly non-symmetric responses in tension and compression, have been used for determining the buckling response of short columns. A rectangular cross-section is selected for analysis of the column, loaded beyond the linear stress-strain relations.
Pacta Sunt Servanda: Islamic Perception
Md Anowar Zahid,Rohimi Shapiee (사) 이준국제법연구원 2010 Journal of East Asia and International Law Vol.3 No.2
Pacta sunt servanda - agreements must be obeyed - is a peremptory principle of modern international law of treaty. What are the origin and nature of this doctrine? Some say, its Latin wording indicates that it is of Roman origin. And this doctrine is a must for the social good; without it the society will be a chaos. But how does Islam perceive the notion? This paper finds that this doctrine came into being with the very beginning of the creation of human souls by Allaah Whom they accepted as their Sole Lord and made a commitment to follow His commands. And it is a principal tenet for Muslims to adhere to because it is an inseparable part of their faith (Iman), a command from their Lord and a practice (Sunnah) of their Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is, therefore, obligatory not merely because it is good for the society, but is also rooted in the teachings of Islamic doctrine and a Muslim’s accountability in the life hereafter.

Considering Custom in the Making of Siyar(Islamic International Law)
Md (Muhammad) Anowar Zahid,Rohimi B. Shapiee (사) 이준국제법연구원 2010 Journal of East Asia and International Law Vol.3 No.1
Custom is a source of Islamic law in general and Siyar (Islamic international law) inparticular. Islamic jurists have set out the elements and conditions of customs forgeneral jurisprudential purpose. However, no one has, to the authors’knowledge, formulated them from Siyar perspective. This paper is an attempt to fill this gap bytracing two important elements of an international custom, namely frequent anddominant general practice of States, and acceptance of that practice as law. These twowill constitute a valid custom provided they fulfill certain conditions, most importantly that the custom must not conflict with Shari’ah or the spirit of Shari’ah.
Duration of Preservation Affect the Quality of Chilled Black Bengal Buck Semen
Pradhan, Md. Gulshan Anowar,Rahman, Md. Saidur,Kwon, Woo-Sung,Mishra, Dipendra,Kamal, Md. Mostofa,Bhuiyan, Mohammad Musharraf Uddin,Shamsuddin, Mohammed The Korean Society of Embryo Transfer 2013 한국동물생명공학회지 Vol.28 No.2
The study focuses on the quality assessment of Black Bengal buck semen preserved at chilled condition. In this in vitro trial, collected semen from Black Bengal bucks was preserved at chilling temperature ($4{\sim}5^{\circ}C$) in tris-glucosecitrate yolk medium of 1:5 ratios for four days. Artificial Vagina (AV) method was utilized to collect semen from buck. General evaluation of semen includes the color, mass activity and density were measured by direct visual examination. However, computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) and phase contrast microscopy were used to figure out the motility (%), hyper-activated (HYP) motility (%) and number of abnormal spermatozoa (%) initially, and at every 24 h intervals. The result revealed that spermatozoa preserved at chilling temperature showed significantly (P<0.05) lower motility and HYP motility with the progression of preservation. The number of phenotypically abnormal spermatozoa significantly (P<0.05) increased following preservation. Although significant positive correlation (r=0.945; P<0.05) was existed between % motile and % HYP motile spermatozoa however, the % of morphologically abnormal spermatozoa was negatively correlated with % motile (r=-0.997; P<0.05) and % HYP motile spermatozoa (r=-0.946; P<0.01). Therefore, we concluded that the quality of chilled semen progressively losses its viability and doesn't remain useable after certain period of preservation with respect to its motility and morphology.
