<P>A precision measurement of the top quark mass m_{t} is obtained using a sample of tt[over ¯] events from pp[over ¯] collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron with the CDF II detector. Selected events require an electron or muon, large missing transverse energy, and exactly four high-energy jets, at least one of which is tagged as coming from a b quark. A likelihood is calculated using a matrix element method with quasi-Monte Carlo integration taking into account finite detector resolution and jet mass effects. The event likelihood is a function of m_{t} and a parameter ?_{JES} used to calibrate the jet energy scale in situ. Using a total of 1087 events in 5.6??fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity, a value of m_{t}=173.0±1.2??GeV/c^{2} is measured.</P>

<P>We measure the forward-backward asymmetry of the production of top-quark and antiquark pairs in proton-antiproton collisions at center-of-mass energy root s = 1.96 TeV using the full data set collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF) in Tevatron Run II corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.1 fb(-1). The asymmetry is characterized by the rapidity difference between top quarks and antiquarks (Delta y) and measured in the final state with two charged leptons (electrons and muons). The inclusive asymmetry, corrected to the entire phase space at parton level, is measured to be A(FB)(t (t) over bar) = 0.12 +/- 0.13, consistent with the expectations from the standard model (SM) and previous CDF results in the final state with a single charged lepton. The combination of the CDF measurements of the inclusive A(FB)(t (t) over bar) in both final states yields A(FB)(t (t) over bar) 0.160 +/- 0.045, which is consistent with the SM predictions. We also measure the differential asymmetry as a function of Delta y. A linear fit to A(FB)(t (t) over bar) (vertical bar Delta y vertical bar),assuming zero asymmetry at Delta y = 0, yields a slope of alpha = 0.14 +/- 0.15, consistent with the SM prediction and the previous CDF determination in the final state with a single charged lepton. The combined slope of A(FB)(t (t) over bar) (vertical bar Delta y vertical bar) the two final states is alpha = 0.227 +/- 0.057, which is 2.0 sigma larger than the SM prediction.</P>

<P>A search for a Higgs boson with suppressed couplings to fermions, h(f), assumed to be the neutral, lower-mass partner of the Higgs boson discovered at the Large Hadron Collider, is reported. Such a Higgs boson could exist in extensions of the standard model with two Higgs doublets, and could be produced via p (p) over bar -> H(+/-)h(f) -> W*h(f)h(f) -> 4 gamma + X where H (+/-) is a charged Higgs boson. This analysis uses all events withat least three photons in the final state from proton-antiproton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.2 fb(-1). No evidence of a signal is observed in the data. Values of Higgs-boson masses between 10 and 100 GeV/c(2) are excluded at 95% Bayesian credibility.</P>

<P>We present a measurement of the total WW and WZ production cross sections in p (p) over bar collision at root s = 1.96 TeV, in a final state consistent with leptonic W boson decay and jets originating from heavy-flavor quarks from either a W or a Z boson decay. This analysis uses the full data set collected with the CDF II detector during Run II of the Tevatron collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.4 fb(-1). An analysis of the dijet mass spectrum provides 3.7 sigma evidence of the summed production processes of either WW or WZ bosons with a measured total cross section of sigma(WW+WZ) = 13.7 +/- 3.9 pb. Independent measurements of the WW and WZ production cross sections are allowed by the different heavy- flavor decay patterns of the W and Z bosons and by the analysis of secondary- decay vertices reconstructed within heavy- flavor jets. The productions of WW and of WZ dibosons are independently seen with significances of 2.9s and 2.1s, respectively, with total cross sections of sigma(WW) = 9.4 +/- 4.2 pb and sigma(WZ) = 3.7(-2.2)(+2.5) pb. The measurements are consistent with standard- model predictions.</P>

<P>A measurement of the inclusive production cross section of isolated prompt photons in proton-antiproton collisions at center-of-mass energy root s = 1.96 TeV is presented. The results are obtained using the full Run II data sample collected with the Collider Detector at the Fermilab Tevatron, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9.5 fb(-1). The cross section is measured as a function of photon transverse energy, E-T(gamma), in the range 30 < E-T(gamma) < 500 GeV and in the pseudorapidity region |eta(gamma)| < 1.0. The results are compared with predictions from parton-shower Monte Carlo models at leading order in QCD and from next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations. The latter show good agreement with the measured cross section.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>A measurement of the top quark mass (Mtop) in the all-hadronic decay channel is presented. It uses 5.8 fb−1 of pp¯ data collected with the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. Events with six to eight jets are selected by a neural network algorithm and by the requirement that at least one of the jets is tagged as a <I>b</I>-quark jet. The measurement is performed with a likelihood fit technique, which simultaneously determines Mtop and the jet energy scale (JES) calibration. <P>A measurement of vector boson (V) production in conjunction with a D*(2010)(+) meson is presented. Using a data sample corresponding to 9.7 fb(-1) of proton-antiproton collisions at center-of-mass energy root s = 1.96 TeV produced by the Fermilab Tevatron, we reconstruct V + D*+ samples with the CDF II detector. The D*+ is fully reconstructed in the D*(2010)(+) -> D-0 (-> K-pi(+))pi(+) decay mode. This technique is sensitive to the associated production of vector boson plus charm or bottom mesons. We measure the ratio of production cross sections sigma(W + D*) = sigma(W) = [1.75 +/- 0.13(stat) +/- 0.09(stat)]% and sigma(Z + D*)/sigma(Z) = [1.5 +/- 0.4(stat) +/- 0.2(stat)]% and perform a differential measurement of d sigma(W + D*)/dp(T)(D*). Event properties are utilized to determine the fraction of V + D*(2010)(+) events originating from different production processes. The results are in agreement with the predictions obtained with the PYTHIA program, limiting possible contribution from non-standard-model physics processes.</P>

We present a measurement of the ZZ-boson pair-production cross section in 1.96 TeV center-of-mass energy p (p) over bar collisions. We reconstruct final states incorporating four charged leptons or two charged leptons and two neutrinos from the full data set collected by the Collider Detector experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron, corresponding to 9.7 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity. Combining the results obtained from each final state, we measure a cross section of 1.04(-0.25)(+0.32) pb, in good agreement with the standard model prediction at next-to-leading order in the strong-interaction coupling.

<P>We performed a signature-based search for long-lived charged massive particles produced in 1.0 fb-1 of pp[over ] collisions at sqrt[s]=1.96 TeV, collected with the CDF II detector using a high transverse-momentum (pT) muon trigger. The search used time of flight to isolate slowly moving, high-pT particles. One event passed our selection cuts with an expected background of 1.9+/-0.2 events. We set an upper bound on the production cross section and, interpreting this result within the context of a stable scalar top-quark model, set a lower limit on the particle mass of 249 GeV/c2 at 95% C.L.</P>

<P>We report a measurement of the ratio of the tt to Z/관{*} production cross sections in sqrt[s]=1.96??TeV pp collisions using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of up to 4.6??fb{-1}, collected by the CDF II detector. The tt cross section ratio is measured using two complementary methods, a b-jet tagging measurement and a topological approach. By multiplying the ratios by the well-known theoretical Z/관{*}?l cross section predicted by the standard model, the extracted tt cross sections are effectively insensitive to the uncertainty on luminosity. A best linear unbiased estimate is used to combine both measurements with the result ?{tt}=7.70±0.52??pb, for a top-quark mass of 172.5??GeV/c{2}.</P>
