우주적 동산: 환경에 대한 통일원리적 비전 신종교로서의 통일교회는 고도의 기술과 환경 위기의 시대에 출현하였다. 통일교회의 창시자인 문선명 목사는 자연에 대한 인간의 태도와 환경오염의 문제를 신중하게 생각하고 언급한다. 통일원리는 창세기 1장 28절의 만물을 다스리라는 언급에 대해 독특한 해석을 한다. 즉 인간의 만물에 대한 다스림, 즉 주관은 인간이 하나님으로부터 사랑을 받아 만물에게 전하는 종적 사랑의 질서 속에서 가능하다는 것이다. 그리고 존재 만물은 개체적 목적뿐만 아니라 전체적 목적을 실현해야 하는 존재이다. 인간은 우주적 조화와 질서의 중심에 있다. 인간은 만물을 사랑으로 다스려 완성시켜야 한다. 그런데 인간이 타락하여 심정을 상실하고 가정을 파괴하였으며 이기적이고 무책임하게 되었다. 그래서 이기적이고 무책임한 자세로 자연에 접근한 결과 자연을 파괴하고 환경을 오염시키게 된 것이다. 환경에 대한 통일원리적 비전은 전 피조세계를 상호 연관된 유기체로 보는 것이다. 자연은 하나님이 인간에게 주신 선물이다. 인류는 과학과 기술로 자연에 접근하여 사랑으로 돌보아야 한다. 인간은 자연에게 하나님의 사랑을 전하며 자연을 완성시켜야 한다. Unification Theology in the Age of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification(FFWPU) 1. Theology is a contemporary interpretation of truth and a contextual confession of faith 2. The "Unification Theology" in the age of FFWPU, therefore, should be different from what used to be the "Unification Theology" of the age of HSA-UWC. 3. The "Unification Theology" in the age of FFWPU cannot follow the paradigm of the past. 4. However, since Theology is basically what talks about God, the "Unification Theology" of the age of FFWPU should also be based on the same systematic pattern of the past. -- God and the created Universe, and the relationship between God and the Universe. 5. Based on the above systematic pattern of the past, the "Unification Theology" can be represented from a new paradigm of the thought of True Parents based on Father's recent speeches. 6. 통일사상, 전통적 변증법철학 및 새로운 조화의 정신

세계는 공산주의사상의 파산과 서구 자유주의의 빛바랜 약속의 사이에서 제3의 길을 호소하고 있다. 통일사상은 이러한 요구를 춤족시켜 주고 있다. 그것은 영적인 기반을 시작으로하며 조화롭고 번영된 사회를 위해 필요한 개체내의 내적기대를 강조한다. 따라서 그것의 출발점은 하나님의 성품과 하나님과 인간과의 관계에 두고 있다. 인간의 삶은 내·외양면의 균형을 요구하고 있으나, 동양과 서양에 지배적인 세속적 세계관은 외적, 물질적조건 둥에 중점을 두고, 보다 더 근본적인 내적가치는 무시하는 경향이 있다. 만일 세계가 온전히 하나가 되고, 분열된 종교·철학·문화와 국가가 조화를 이루어 영구적인 평화를위한 조건을 창조하기 위해서는 가치의 올바른 정립이 요구된다는 것이 통일사상의 견해이다. 본 논문에서 필자는 통일사상의 중심된 특징들, 특히 존재론과 방법에 주안점을 두고 서술하고자 한다. 왜냐하면 그 방법과 구조가 변증법적 철학과 유사점을 지니기 때문이며, 어떤 비교는 막스와 헤겔의 변증법적 방법들로 구성될 것이기 때문이다. 이러한 변증법적 철학들과의 피상적인 유사성에도 불구하고 통일사상은 그것의 근본 토대를 종교철학에 두고 있다. 그와 같이 통일사상은 어떠한 교리에 집착하기보다, 더 근본적인 사랑안에 존재하는 인간 영혼의 깊은 단계를 다루기 때문에 필자는 그것이 단지 하나의 이데올로기만이 아님을 보여 주고자 한다. This paper presents a vision processing scheme to automatic weld joint tracking in robotic arc welding process. Particular attention is concentrated on its robustness against various optical disturbances, such as arc glares and weld spatters radiating from the melted weld pool. Underlying the developed vision processing is a kind of model-based pattern searching, which is necessarily accompanied by two separate stages of modeling and tracking. In the modeling stage, a syntactic approach is adopted to identify unknown weld joint structure. The joint profile identified in the modeling stage is used as a starting point for successive tracking of variations in the geometry of weld joint during welding, which is automatically achieved by an active contour model technology following feature-based template matching. The performance of the developed scheme is investigated through a series of practical welding experiments.

Application of Unification Thought to Moral and Ethical Education

최근 조직에 지식경영을 도입해야 할 필요성이 강조되고, 이를 도입하고자 관심을 갖고, 도입 중에 있는 조직들이 점차 증가하고 있다. 그러나 지식경영의 도입은 지속적인 구축과정을 필요로 한다. 또한 이러한 지식경영을 도입하였을 때 과연 조직은 어떠한 성과를 얻을 수 있을까라는 점에 많은 질문을 갖게 된다. 따라서 지식경영을 도입함으로써 조직이 어떻게 변화하며, 궁극적으로 조직의 성과를 어떻게 측정해야 할 것인가는 중요한 사항이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 그 유용성이 강조되는 BSC 관점에서 점진적 지식경영 방법론에 토대를 둔 파일럿 영역단위의 접근에 기반한 산업별 조직의 가치활동의 가중치를 평가해 봄으로써 효과적인 지식경영의 성과측정 방법에 대한 지침 모델을 고찰해 보았다. IEF is presently the only foreign organization allowed by the Chinese government to teach philosophical or ethical material in that country. Educators, scholars and ministry officials comment favorably, saying that IEF's presentations are infused with authentic Chinese values. One condition for IEF to operate in China is that it develop a program that is appropriate for a secular audience, with no mention of God or theology. Instead IEF has adopted a profound universal values approach. The American branch of IEF, which is responsible for the work in China, has been continuously upgrading its lecture materials, looking to eliminate any remaining religious terminology and to meet the strictest standard of material suitable for secular school use. The latest edition of its lecture manual, tentatively titled Cultivating Heart & Character, is due to be published this summer.

Particle tracking acceleration via signed distance fields in direct-accelerated geometry Monte Carlo

Computer-aided design (CAD)-based Monte Carlo radiation transport is of value to the nuclear engineering community for its ability to conduct transport on high-fidelity models of nuclear systems, but it is more computationally expensive than native geometry representations. This work describes the adaptation of a rendering data structure, the signed distance field, as a geometric query tool for accelerating CAD-based transport in the direct-accelerated geometry Monte Carlo toolkit. Demonstrations of its effectiveness are shown for several problems. The beginnings of a predictive model for the data structure's utilization based on various problem parameters is also introduced.

Interfacial modulus mapping of layered dental ceramics using nanoindentation

PURPOSE. The aim of this study was to test the modulus of elasticity (E) across the interfaces of yttria stabilized zirconia (YTZP) / veneer multilayers using nanoindentation. MATERIALS AND METHODS. YTZP core material (KaVo-Everest, Germany) specimens were either coated with a liner (IPS e.max ZirLiner, Ivoclar-Vivadent) (Type-1) or left as-sintered (Type-2) and subsequently veneered with a pressable glass-ceramic (IPS e.max ZirPress, Ivoclar-Vivadent). A $5{\mu}m$ (nominal tip diameter) spherical indenter was used with a UMIS CSIRO 2000 (ASI, Canberra, Australia) nanoindenter system to test E across the exposed and polished interfaces of both specimen types. The multiple point load - partial unload method was used for E determination. All materials used were characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X - ray powder diffraction (XRD). E mappings of the areas tested were produced from the nanoindentation data. RESULTS. A significantly (P<.05) lower E value between Type-1 and Type-2 specimens at a distance of $40{\mu}m$ in the veneer material was associated with the liner. XRD and SEM characterization of the zirconia sample showed a fine grained bulk tetragonal phase. IPS e-max ZirPress and IPS e-max ZirLiner materials were characterized as amorphous. CONCLUSION. The liner between the YTZP core and the heat pressed veneer may act as a weak link in this dental multilayer due to its significantly (P<.05) lower E. The present study has shown nanoindentation using spherical indentation and the multiple point load - partial unload method to be reliable predictors of E and useful evaluation tools for layered dental ceramic interfaces.
