Over the last three decades, hosting mega-sport events have been popular due to political, cultural, and economic benefits. When it comes to maximizing the potential benefits of events, it is critical to manage and satisfy the stakeholders who affect the event or are affected by the event. For this, many management literatures have developed organizational strategies to identify and satisfy influential groups for the pursuit of organizational goals by focusing on dyadic relationships between focal organizations and stakeholder groups. Yet, embracing the fact that these studies tend to ignore the autonomous relationships among stakeholders, this study introduces the model of multi-stakeholder network in mega-sport events settings to highlight the importance of stakeholders’ interactions. The purpose of this study is: 1) to develop a conceptual framework for the model of multi-stakeholder network employing an issue-focused stakeholder management approach and social network analysis in mega-sport events settings, and 2) to simulate a model by creating a random stakeholder network from the issue categories and external stakeholder groups identified by Parent (2008) to provide empirical implications. The theoretical, methodological, and practical implications of the model, and future directions are discussed.

Cervicogenic dizziness is dizziness triggered by movement or positioning of the cervical spine and is often accompanied by neck pain or stiffness. This is a prospective, pragmatic, assessor-blind, randomized controlled trial aimed at testing the efficacy and safety of adjuvant Chuna Manual Therapy (CMT) in patients with cervicogenic dizziness under usual care treatments. Fifty patients with cervicogenic dizziness will be randomly allocated to CMT or usual care (UC) groups in a 1 : 1 ratio. Extensive screening procedures, including examinations for central nervous system problems and nystagmus, will be applied to exclude other dizziness-inducing disorders. The eligible participants will receive 12 sessions of CMT plus UC or only UC over 6 weeks. CMT includes mandatory and discretionary techniques, whereas UC includes electrotherapy, thermotherapy, and patient education. The efficacy will be evaluated primarily as Dizziness Handicap Inventory score. The severity and frequency of dizziness, the level of neck pain or stiffness, and the cervical range of motion will also be evaluated. Safety will be assessed by adverse events. The data will be statistically analyzed at p < 0.05. Trial Registration. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among service quality factors, spectator sat -isfaction, and intention to revisit of spectators at F1 Korea Grand Prize International Sports Event. The study utilized the random convenient sampling method at the site of 2010 F1 Korea Grand Prize International Sports and a total of 287 samples were retrieved for the further analyses. The study employed frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmator y factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation modeling through SPSS Version 18.0 and Amos 7.0. The r esults suggested that the service quality of F1 Korea Grand Prize International Sports Event influenced posi tively on the spectator satisfaction. Although the service quality of the event had no influence on the intention to revisit of spectators directly, the spectator satisfaction of the event had a positive impact on the intentio n to revisit of spectators emphasizing the signifi - cance of spectator satisfaction as a mediator between service quality and intention to revisit of spectators at F1 events in Korea.

This study explored the challenges facing sport leagues in the U.S. and Korea due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their strategies in dealing with the crisis, and what post-pandemic spectator sport industry in the two countries might look like. We recruited three industry practitioners from the U.S. and South Korea for a focus group interview conducted during a panel discussion organized by an academic organization. An inductive-open coding extracted several themes from the qualitative data. Main challenges included uncertainty, increased competition, and weakened fan experience. Strategies included contingency planning, flexible venue management, and revitalizing the fan experience. While the panel agreed that the pandemic constrained the industry’s traditional business practices, countervailing effects were also noted such as the facilitation of technological diffusion. This study presents implications for the industry and the relevant body of knowledge including: Technology-based media consumption, advanced risk management protocols and product characterizations, and approaches to incorporate sociocultural connotations of spectating sport.

Objectives : This study was aimed to investigated the relationship between warning signs and stroke subtype in acute stroke patients. Methods : From Oct. in 2005 to Oct. in 2006, 409 acute stroke patients were included. Patients were hospitalized within 14 days after the onset of stroke in DongGuk University International Hospital, Kyungwon University In-cheon Oriental Medical Hospital, Department Cardiovascular and Neurologic Diseases(Stroke center) Kyung Hee University Oriental hospital. We investigated general characteristics, stroke subtype, and warning signs(facial spasm, neck stiffness). Results : Hemorrhagic stroke had more facial spasm than ischemic stroke. (odds ratio 3.60) Small vessel occlusion had more neck stiffness than others. (odds ratio 2.03) Conclusion : To acquire more concrete conclusions on warning signs, we need further and large scale of prospective researches.
