This research presents a comprehensive investigation into the synthesis and application of novel composite photocatalysts, namely Mg 0.75 Ce 0.25 Fe 12 O 19 @ZIF-67 for the degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) dye under sunlight irradiation. The synthesis involved the preparation of Mg 0.75 Ce 0.25 Fe 12 O 19 and ZIF-67 frameworks, followed by the fabrication of the composite catalyst. Various characterization techniques, such as XRD, SEM, EDX, and FTIR, were employed to assess the structural, morphological, and compositional properties of the synthesized materials. Photocatalytic experiments were conducted to evaluate the effi ciency of the catalysts in degrading RhB, revealing remarkable enhancement in degradation effi ciency (90%) using the composite photocatalyst compared to individual components. The eff ects of catalyst type, dosage, and pH on the degradation process were systematically investigated. Furthermore, a proposed mechanism elucidated the role of the Mg 0.75 Ce 0.25 Fe 12 O 19 @ZIF-67 cocatalyst for RhB degradation under solar light, highlighting the generation of radicals as key contributors for degradation process.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) Division of Cancer Prevention (DCP) convened the “Translational Advances in Cancer Prevention Agent Development (TACPAD) Workshop on Immunomodulatory Agents” as a virtual 2-day workshop on September 13 to 14, 2021. The main goals of this workshop were to foster the exchange of ideas and potentially new collaborative interactions among leading cancer immunoprevention researchers from basic and clinical research and highlight new and emerging trends in immunoprevention. The workshop included an overview of the mechanistic classes of immunomodulatory agents and three sessions covering the gamut from preclinical to clinical studies. The workshop convened individuals working in immunology and cancer prevention to discuss trends in discovery and development of immunomodulatory agents individually and in combination with other chemopreventive agents or vaccines.
Wideband Circularly Polarized Spidron Fractal Slot Antenna with an Embedded Patch

<P>In this communication, a wideband circularly polarized (CP) Spidron fractal microstrip antenna is proposed based on the concept of embedded structures. The proposed antenna is excited by a tapered microstrip feedline. A wide 3 dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 28.81% (3.09–4.13 GHz) is obtained by merging the CP bands of the Spidron fractal slot and patch antennas. In addition, a measured −10 dB reflection bandwidth of 47.25% (2.57–4.16 GHz) is reported. The measured results are in reasonable concurrence with the simulated results. The measured gain varies between 2.12 dBic and 3.56 dBic within the AR bandwidth.</P>
On Thermal and State-of-Charge Balancing using Cascaded Multi-level Converters

In this study, the simultaneous use of a multi-level converter (MLC) as a DC-motor drive and as an active battery cell balancer is investigated. MLCs allow each battery cell in a battery pack to be independently switched on and off, thereby enabling the potential non-uniform use of battery cells. By exploiting this property and the brake regeneration phases in the drive cycle, MLCs can balance both the state of charge (SoC) and temperature differences between cells, which are two known causes of battery wear, even without reciprocating the coolant flow inside the pack. The optimal control policy (OP) that considers both battery pack temperature and SoC dynamics is studied in detail based on the assumption that information on the state of each cell, the schedule of reciprocating air flow and the future driving profile are perfectly known. Results show that OP provides significant reductions in temperature and in SoC deviations compared with the uniform use of all cells even with uni-directional coolant flow. Thus, reciprocating coolant flow is a redundant function for a MLC-based cell balancer. A specific contribution of this paper is the derivation of a state-space electro-thermal model of a battery submodule for both uni-directional and reciprocating coolant flows under the switching action of MLC, resulting in OP being derived by the solution of a convex optimization problem.

In this paper we have obtained various forms of (p, q)-analogue of Aleph-Function satisfying Truesdell's ascending and descending F<sub>p,q</sub>-equation. These structures have been employed to arrive at certain generating functions for (p, q)-analogue of Aleph-Function. Some specific instances of these outcomes as far as (p, q)-analogue of I-function, H-function and G-functions have likewise been obtained.

THE POWER OF MONEY: COMPARING MIDDLE CLASS ATTITUDES IN INDIA AND KOREA

Prior research in the U.S. documents the interaction between societal changes, money meanings, and family dynamics in the U.S. (Commuri & Gentry, 2005; Rose & Orr, 2007) and India (Merchant, Rose, & Gour, 2015). The present study extends this line of inquiry by examining and contrasting the money attitudes of couples, money meanings, and dynamics of money management within families of two horizontal collectivist nations (Triandis & Gelfand, 1998): India and South Korea. Twelve and six married couples were interviewed in India and Korea respectively. Both nations are horizontal collectivist nations that place a high value on the perceptions and respect of others. Thus, respondents from both nations emphasize the importance of consuming to convey status and keeping up with their neighbors. Indians frequently discuss religious and mythological texts related to money, doing one’s duty, and prosperity’s fickle nature. In contrast, Koreans are less apt to explicitly discuss religious and mythological texts. They appear to be somewhat more present oriented regarding their attitudes toward money and spending. Findings reveal that Koreans focus on security, respect money’s positive utility and necessity, and greed’s potential pitfalls. Koreans seem less concerned about on saving and focus more on enjoying life. Indians link saving to dharma (doing their duty) and supporting their children. Koreans also place a high value on family and supporting their children, but they appear less concerned about the success of future generations than Indians. These differences appear consistent with cultural values and reflect differences in economic development. For example, the homemaker is highly revered in the Hindu religion and Indian culture (Bharat, 2012) where the role is tied to doing one’s dharmatic duty. Korean and other cultures also revere nurturance within the family, but this reverence tends to be expressed within the culture’s specific economic and historical circumstances. Compared to Korea, Indian culture seems less egalitarian and more conservative in attitudes toward woman.
Generating Operators of I-transform of the Mellin Convolution Type

In this paper, the I-transform of the Mellin convolution type is presented. Based on the Mellin transform theory, a general integral transform of the Mellin convolution type is introduced. The generating operators for I-transform together with the corresponding operational relations are also presented.
A D-Band Waveguide-SIW Transition for 6G Applications

In this work, a design of a transition from a standard D-band waveguide to substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology is presented for 6G applications. The waveguide is connected to an SIW by carving a slot at the bottom metal of the printed circuit board (PCB). A pair of vias is added to shift the inband null to a higher frequency, whereas a parasitic patch is used to improve impedance matching. A prototype of a back-to-back SIW transition is fabricated and measured using D-band VNA extenders. The measurement shows a −10 dB impedance bandwidth of 26.5 GHz (135–161.5 GHz) and a 3 dB bandwidth of 28 GHz (133.8–161.8 GHz). The transition can be integrated with a D-band antenna for 6G applications.
Circularly Polarized Spidron Fractal Dielectric Resonator Antenna

<P>In this letter, a circularly polarized Spidron fractal dielectric resonator antenna is presented. A wide 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth is realized by merging a Spidron fractal dielectric resonator and a C-shaped slot that can produce circular polarization. The proposed antenna is excited through the coupling between a C-shaped slot in the ground plane and a 50-Ω microstrip feeding line. A prototype of the antenna is fabricated and tested. Reasonable agreement is achieved between the measurement and simulation. The experimental results show that the proposed antenna has a -10- dB reflection bandwidth of 37.29% (4.32-6.30 GHz) and a 3-dB AR bandwidth of 11.57% (5.13-5.76 GHz). The measured gain of the antenna ranges 2.20 dBic to 3.16 dBic within the AR bandwidth.</P>
