In this paper, we solve a general Volterra-type fractional equation associated with an integral operator involving a product of general class of polynomials and the multivariable H-function in its Kernel. We make use of convolution technique to solve the main equation. On account of the general nature of multivariable H-function and general class of polynomials, We can obtain a large number of integral equations involving products of several useful polynomials and special functions as its special cases. For the lack of space, we record here only two such special cases which involve the product of general class of polynomials SM N & Appell's function F3 and a general class of polynomials. The main result derived in this paper also generalizes the results obtained by Gupta et. al.[2] and Jain[3, p. 102-103, eq. (3.5),eq.(3.6)]
CERTAIN NEW INTEGRAL FORMULAS INVOLVING THE GENERALIZED BESSEL FUNCTIONS
Choi, Junesang,Agarwal, Praveen,Mathur, Sudha,Purohit, Sunil Dutt Korean Mathematical Society 2014 대한수학회보 Vol.51 No.4
A remarkably large number of integral formulas involving a variety of special functions have been developed by many authors. Also many integral formulas involving various Bessel functions have been presented. Very recently, Choi and Agarwal derived two generalized integral formulas associated with the Bessel function $J_{\nu}(z)$ of the first kind, which are expressed in terms of the generalized (Wright) hypergeometric functions. In the present sequel to Choi and Agarwal's work, here, in this paper, we establish two new integral formulas involving the generalized Bessel functions, which are also expressed in terms of the generalized (Wright) hypergeometric functions. Some interesting special cases of our two main results are presented. We also point out that the results presented here, being of general character, are easily reducible to yield many diverse new and known integral formulas involving simpler functions.

In the course of work on new pharmacologically active antimicrobial agents, we have reported the synthesis of a new class of structurally novel derivatives, incorporating two bioactive structures, a benzothiazole and thiazolidin-4-one, to yield a class of compounds having interesting antimicrobial properties. The antimicrobial properties of the synthesized compounds were investigated against bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Escherchia coli) and fungi (Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger) using serial plate dilution method. The structure of the synthesized compounds have been established by elemental analysis and spectroscopic data.

Purpose: Seminal oxidative stress (OS) is a recognized factor potentially associated with male infertility, but the efficacy of antioxidant (AOX) therapy is controversial and there is no consensus on its utility. Primary outcomes of this study were to in-vestigate the effect of AOX on spontaneous clinical pregnancy, live birth and miscarriage rates in male infertile patients. Sec-ondary outcomes were conventional semen parameters, sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) and seminal OS. Materials and Methods: Literature search was performed using Scopus, PubMed, Ovid, Embase, and Cochrane databases. Only randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were included and the meta-analysis was conducted according to PRISMA guide-lines. Results: We assessed for eligibility 1,307 abstracts, and 45 RCTs were finally included, for a total of 4,332 infertile patients. We found a significantly higher pregnancy rate in patients treated with AOX compared to placebo-treated or untreated con-trols, without significant inter-study heterogeneity. No effects on live-birth or miscarriage rates were observed in four studies. A significantly higher sperm concentration, sperm progressive motility, sperm total motility, and normal sperm morphology was found in patients compared to controls. We found no effect on SDF in analysis of three eligible studies. Seminal levels of total antioxidant capacity were significantly higher, while seminal malondialdehyde acid was significantly lower in patients than controls. These results did not change after exclusion of studies performed following varicocele repair. Conclusions: The present analysis upgrades the level of evidence favoring a recommendation for using AOX in male infertility to improve the spontaneous pregnancy rate and the conventional sperm parameters. The failure to demonstrate an increase in live-birth rate, despite an increase in pregnancy rates, is due to the very few RCTs specifically assessing the impact of AOX on live-birth rate. Therefore, further RCTs assessing the impact of AOX on live-birth rate and miscarriage rate, and SDF will be helpful.

In this present paper, we consider four integrals and differentials containing the Gauss' hypergeometric 2F1(x) function in the kernels, which extend the classical Riemann-Liouville (R-L) and Erdélyi-Kober (E-K) fractional integral and differential operators. Formulas (images) for compositions of such generalized fractional integrals and differential constructions with the n-times product of the generalized modified Bessel function of the second type are established. The results are obtained in terms of the generalized Lauricella function or Srivastava-Daoust hypergeometric function. Equivalent assertions for the Riemann-Liouville (R-L) and Erdélyi-Kober (E-K) fractional integral and differential are also deduced.

The interaction of fibre degrading microbes and methanogens was studied using two forages, lucerne (Medicago sativa) hay and maize (Zea mays) hay, as substrate and 2-bromoethanesulphonic acid (BES) as an additive in an in vitro gas production test. Gas and methane production (ml/g dry matter) were significantly higher (p<0.05) on lucerne as compared to maize hay. Inclusion of BES in the incubation medium significantly suppressed methane emission irrespective of substrate. The population density of total bacteria, fungi, Ruminococcus flavefaciens and Fibrobacter succinogenes was higher, whereas that of methanogens was lower with maize hay as compared to lucerne as substrate. BES suppressed methanogen population by 7 fold on lucerene and by 8.5 fold on maize at 24 h incubation as estimated by real time-PCR. This suppression was accompanied by almost complete (>98% of control) inhibition of methanogenesis. The proportion of acetate decreased, whereas that of propionate increased significantly by inclusion of BES, resulting in narrowing of acetate to propionate ratio. In vitro true digestibility (IVTD) of lucerne was significantly higher as compared to maize but BES inclusion did not affect IVTD.
CERTAIN FRACTIONAL INTEGRALS AND IMAGE FORMULAS OF GENERALIZED k-BESSEL FUNCTION
Agarwal, Praveen,Chand, Mehar,Choi, Junesang,Singh, Gurmej Korean Mathematical Society 2018 대한수학회논문집 Vol.33 No.2
We aim to establish certain Saigo hypergeometric fractional integral formulas for a finite product of the generalized k-Bessel functions, which are also used to present image formulas of several integral transforms including beta transform, Laplace transform, and Whittaker transform. The results presented here are potentially useful, and, being very general, can yield a large number of special cases, only two of which are explicitly demonstrated.
