이중외피와 할로우 코어를 적용한 초고층 주거건물의 에너지 절감 방안에 관한 연구

The environment pollution is very important problem. Even at the field of architecture, a study about method of energy saving and constructing environment friendly building will have performed with activity. But trends of Korea housing market are changed that the height of building become more higher and the level of comfort going up. Therefore, these requirements force to increase the energy usage for indoor environmental controls. Thus, this study aims at reducing the heating and cooling energy requirements of high-rise residential complex using twin skin facade and hollow core. Based on ESP-r simulation, the alternatives of facade design compare to the conventional facade design. The alternatives is as following. 1) Basecase(expanded balcony), 2) Expanded balcony + Hollow Core, 3) Twin Skin facade, 4) Twin Skin facade + Hollow Core. If outdoor temperature higher than 26℃, the air temperature of passing hollow core low maximum 7℃. In winter, the air temperature of passing hollow core higher outdoor temperature. Thus using hollow core could reduce heating and cooling energy. It was confirmed that the possibility of natural ventilation strategies through twin skin facade during mid-term(15℃~26℃). The flow rate assumed from 0.74 ACH to 23.80 ACH(average flow rate 7.56 ACH). Therefore, If utilize twin skin facade at the high-rise building, natural ventilation could possible and cooling energy could reduce. The results of the simulation show that the facade using hollow core could reduce 16% of heating and cooling energy, the twin skin facade could reduce 85% of heating and cooling energy, the facade using hollow core and twin skin could reduce 88% of heating and cooling energy compared to conventional facade design.
한국어-영어 이중언어자의 어휘체계: 기능적 자기공명영상(fMRI) 연구

Recent neuroimaging studies have drawn a heterogeneous picture on the cerebral organization of a first language(L1) and a second language(L2). There had been some evidences that L1 and L2 are supported by identical brain regions, whereas contradictory results indicate a differential cerebral organization for L1 and L2. The purpose of the present paper is to see whether brain region activation during lexical decision tasks represents any spatial distinction between L1 and L2. To examine whether the two languages are represented in distinct or overlapping areas of the brain, we applied functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Twelve right-handed Korean-English bilingual students were scanned during the lexical decision tasks. The cortical activations were compared with the eye fixation(baseline) condition. The contrast between the two languages(Korean, English) in the LDT task against baseline(Fig. 1) indicates the two languages are both represented bilaterally. The activated areas in Korean task were the bilateral IFG, the left cingulated gyrus, the postcentral gyrus and right insula. In English task, the bilateral inferior, medial and middle fronal gyri, the left postcentral gyrus, the left superior parietal gyrus, and fusiform gyrus were involved. It seemed that in the Korean-English late bilinguals lexical processing, distinct bilateral areas are recruited. It suggests the lexicon of the later acquired language should be represented some other place near the native tongue. 인지심리학 연구에 있어서 이중언어의 언어체계에 관해서는 두 언어의 어휘집이 분리 표상되어 있다는 모형과 통합되어 있다는 모형이 대치되어왔다. 또한 뇌 영상 연구에 있어서도 뇌 손상 환자를 대상으로 한 연구에서는 분리 표상을, 정상인을 대상으로 한 연구에서는 통합 표상을 지지하는 상반된 견해가 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 제2언어인 영어에서 높은 유창성을 보이는 후기 이중언어습득자를 대상으로 한국어-영어 어휘판단과제를 하는 동안 활성화된 뇌 부위를 분석함으로써 한국어-영어 이중언어자의 어휘체계를 알아보고자 실시되었다. 각 언어를 처리할 때 활성화된 부위를 분석한 결과, 한국어 처리에는 좌반구의 전설소엽, 설소엽, 중중심회와 우반구의 내전두회가, 영어 처리에는 좌반구의 하전두회 일부, 중측두회와 우반구의 상전두회가 활성화되었다. 이러한 결과를 이중언어의 어휘체계가 별도로 존재함을 시사하는 것이라고 해석하였다.

View factor determination is very important in thermal analysis problems with surface radiation but it is very difficult to determine view factors for complex geometries. Exact calculation of view factors for crystal growth furnace is essential due to not only its high surface temperature but the radiation shield, complicated heating system. In this study, view factor calculation algorithm is introduced and applied to cylindrical crystal growth furnace. This algorithm is based on the Hemi-Cube Algorithm and the results obtained with this algorithm show good agreements with those of analytical solution. As an application of this algorithm, temperature profiles and heating value distributions for various furnaces are calculated and the shape criteria for better furnace are suggested.

영어로 진행하는 영어수업(Teaching English in English)의 실제: 현직 및 예비초등교사의 영어교수 불안감에 대한 인식 비교를 중심으로

This study aims investigate the degree of foreign language teaching anxiety between in-service and pre-service primary English teachers and to provide pedagogical suggestions for lowing such anxiety. In order to answer these questions, 32 in-service primary English teachers in Gangwon province and 34 pre-service student-teachers at C national university of education participated in this study and an online survey questionnaire was distributed for data analysis. The results are revealed as follows. First, the survey illustrated that the pre-service English teachers’ degree of foreign language teaching anxiety was higher than its counterpart. Second, both in-service primary English teachers and pre-service teachers showed a higher anxiety degree when teaching productive skills rather than receptive ones. Third, both groups expressed that a sense of anxiety tends to arise due to the gaze of their learners, parents, colleagues, and co-native English teachers. Fourth, deficient pronunciation and intonation, along with improper grammar and difficulty in communicating with native English teachers were described as one of the causes of anxiety. Fifth, the in-service group had a concern about their current English proficiency in teaching English which would lead in turn a sense of confidence decline.
