Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) film deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD) is known to supply excellent surface passivation properties on crystalline Si surface. The quality of passivation layer is important for high-efficiency silicon solar cell. double-layer structures have many advantages over single-layer materials. Al2O3/SiNX passivation stacks have been widely adopted for high- efficiency silicon solar cells. The first layer, Al2O3, passivates the surface, while SiNX acts as a hydrogen source that saturates silicon dangling bonds during annealing treatment. We explored the properties on passivation film of Al2O3/SiNX stack layer with changing the conditions. For the post annealing temperature, it was found that 500 ℃ is the most suitable temperature to improvement surface passivation.

The French philosopher Yves Michaud has asked about the nature of contemporary art and aesthetic experience all along from his first book, “Artist and commissionaires”. He comprehends that the paradigm of the Modernism is not more available for the contemporary art’s situations and observes how the new paradigm of art relates to the work of art and products the new forms of aesthetic experience. He observes “the double movement between vaporization of art and aestheticization of societies” invading our life in the whole aspects like science, politics, art, architecture, fashion, cooking etc. He describes the process of this ‘double movement’ and its consequences that consist of the new paradigm of art and aesthetic experience in our time. The position as analytic philosopher adopted by Michaud is more flexible than that of ontology or historicism. Because the ontology is inclined to set something forth as a premise and the historicism to recognize the only one dominant form. For Michaud, one of the most proper means to explain the art might be to observe, analyze and diagnose as exactly as possible the new paradigm of art.

The properties of the electron transport layer (ETL) have a great effect on perovskite solar cell performance. Depositing conformal SnO₂ ETL on bottom textured silicon cells is essential to increase current density in terms of the silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells. In the recent study, the SnO₂ electron transport layer deposited by the sputtering method showed an efficiency of 19.8%. Also, an electron transport layer with a sputtered TiO₂ electron transport layer in a 4-terminal tandem solar cell has been reported. In this study, we synthesized SnOx ETL with a various sputtering power range of 30-60W by Radio-frequency (RF)-magnetron sputtering. The properties of SnOx thin film were characterized using ellipsometer, UV-vis spectrometer, and IV measurement. With a sputtering power of 50W, the solar cell showed the highest efficiency of 13.3%, because of the highest fill factor by the conductivity of SnOx film.
다양한 식품에서 Campylobacter jejuni 검출을 위한 real-time PCR과 배지배양법의 비교검증

본 연구에서는 두 종류의 선택배지를 활용한 배지배양법과 realtime PCR의 C. jejuni 검출능력을 비교하였다. 소시지, 쇠고기 분쇄육, 무순에 C. jejuni를 접종하고 Hunt broth로 증균배양 하였으며, mCCD agar와 Preston agar에 배양액을 획선도말하여 미호기적으로 배양하였다. 동시에 증균배양액에서 1 ㎖을 채취하여 realtime PCR을 실시하였다. 실험결과, real-time PCR은 쇠고기 분쇄육과 소세지에서 두 가지 선택배지와 비교하여 동일한 검출력을 보였으나 무순에서는 훨씬 더 많은 양성을 검출하였다(p<0.05). 두 배지간의 비교에서는 Preston agar와 mCCD agar는 통계학적 유의차가 없는 민감도를 보였다(p>0.05). 결론적으로 real-time PCR 은 표준검출법인 배지배양법과 비교하여 동등하거나 우수한 민감도를 지닌 신속검출기법인 것으로 사료되며, 배지배양법에 앞서 선별검사로 사용할 경우 시간, 비용, 노동력 절감에 있어서 매우 유효한 방법이 될 것으로 판단된다. In this study, performances of culture methods using two selective media and real-time PCR were evaluated for detection of Campylobacter jejuni (C. jejuni) in various food samples. Sausage, ground beef, and radish sprouts inoculated with C. jejuni were enriched in Hunt broth and then streaked onto modified cefoperazone charcoal deoxycholate agar and Preston agar, followed by incubation under microaerobic conditions. The enriched Hunt broth (1 ㎖) was used in real-time PCR assay. No statistical differences were observed in sensitivity among the two selective media and real-time PCR for sausage and ground beef. However, the number of positives by real-time PCR in radish sprouts was much higher than the two selective media (p<0.05). It appears that real-time PCR could be used as an effective screening tool to detect C. jejuni, particularly in foods with a high number of background microflora such as fresh vegetables.
동적 착의량 기반 열환경 제어에 따른 주거환경 열쾌적 분석

The purpose of this study is to confirm the necessity and significance of applying a dynamic clothing insulation for controlling the thermal environment. For this purpose, the comparative analysis of indoor thermal comfort in the residential building was conducted with three different control methods: 1) DBT (dry-bulb temperature)-based control, 2) PMV (predicted mean vote)-based controls reflecting the fixed clothing insulation, 3) PMV-based control reflecting the dynamic clothing insulation. DesignBuilder was employed for a residential building modeling and the thermal comfort analysis which was accessed with PMV and PPD (predicted percentage dissatisfied) indicators. As a result, the PMV-based control applying the dynamic clothing insulation satisfied the comfort ranges of the PMV and PPD at all times regardless of the season. On the other hand, in the case of the DBT-based control, the average PMV value was out of the comfort range in both seasons, and the PPD value was more than twice that of the PMV-based control reflecting the dynamic clothing insulation. In addition, PMV-based control reflecting fixed clothing insulation resulted in a slightly cold condition in the morning and at night in both seasons as presenting PMV values below –0.5 and PPD values over 10%. In conclusion, from this study, the possibility was confirmed that the PMV-based control reflecting dynamic clothing insulation can provide a comfortable thermal environment for the occupants. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the accurate value of the clothing insulation in order to comfortably control the thermal environment, and a follow-up research should be conducted to develop a prediction model of the real-time clothing insulation.
조명제어방식에 따른 DSSC BIPV 창호 적용 건물 에너지 성능 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cooling, heating, lighting energy consumption, and solar cell generation performance of buildings with DSSC BIPV windows by applying various lighting control methods. Using computer simulations, three types of windows were compared: Low-E, DSSC-R and DSSC-Y. As a result, the DSSC windows showed a higher energy consumption than the Low-e window due to its low VLT value despite its own power production, and all three window types showed the lowest energy consumption in the Linear/Off control method. Based on this study, continuous research on improving VLT and Solar Cell’s self-generation efficiency should be conducted in order to increase the utilization of DSSC BIPV windows.
