The winding shoes are introduced to revitalize muscle of the lower limbs and to modify the angle of ankle when walking. However the products for human's health-care should be proved to be functional and safe. Variable products for human can sometimes make severe accident and side effect. In this view, winding shoes must be certificated. The functionality of winding shoes is being analyzed; it's proved that the difference of pressure distribution made by shape of the shoes can help lower limb muscle to be strengthened. But these analyses focused activation of muscle beneath skin using EMG. Because this approach has limitation, this paper approaches by using simulation software SIMM. SIMM was used many papers because of its accuracy. We captured the movements of 3 volunteers who are men in their twenties. They took winding shoes and normal shoes on each experiment. This paper focused on muscle activation of the lower limbs when taking the winding shoes. We checked muscles and analyzed modification between winding shoes and normal. As a result of experiments, we could find that most of the muscles of lower limbs were activated. The analysis of inner muscles that cannot be measured by direct methods can help customers to be more effective to their healthcare. And simulation programs such as SIMM can make it possible.
