The automotive sunroof system has many benefit that are able to control ventilation and brightness. Kinds of auto motive sunroof system are Panorama sunroof, normal sunroof type. Recently, strength in sunroof system with the growth of the global automotive industry are one of the most important issues. Many studies have been carried out to improve sunroof system’s strength. In the paper, the structural analysis on normal sunroof type is carried out. The sunroof Assy, movable glass sub Assy and Frame sub Assy are verified by comparing structural analysis results with experimental data obtained by strength tester. All kinds of influence factors affecting the sunroof system stiffness is confirmed by simulation and test. A FEM model of sunroof system is established for analyzing the strength of sunroof system by using Abaqus program. In the paper, method of structural analysis and strength test are proposed for evaluation of sunroof system’s performance.

Recently, the most important thing is reliability for quality on the sunroof market. Quality is very important to ensure profitability with cost saving and reduced weight. And it must be available to the driver without the inconvenience when traveling. In existing paper, the integrated frame sunroof system was minimized the number of parts and reduce the quality problem by reducing the assembly process. In addition, it was possible to reduce the manufacturing time and production cost due to the process improvements. Based on this, some of the test evaluation was performed to ensure reliability for existing paper (Optimum Structural Design of Tubeless Frame System of the Sunroof on the Car Body). Recently, quality decrease in parts with the growth of the global automotive industry are one of the most important issues. In particular, the sunroof system that is closely related to the quality and sensitivity of the consumer is composed of more than 200 parts. It is also produced through a number of processes. In addition the quality problem will be more important because it operates in a variety of conditions. Previously, if a frame and tube are assembled into individual structures on the sunroof system, Current development structure is the way two parts is made integrally. The integrated frame sunroof system can minimize the number of parts and reduce the quality problem by reducing the assembly process. In addition, it is possible to reduce the manufacturing time and production cost due to the process improvements. In this paper, the integrated frame is designed optimal structure.

Sunroof system consists of skylights can feel the sense of open and boards Sunshade for blocking the transmission of light. In order to open and close this Sunshade, a user applies a force directly to the handle of Sunshade by hand is a conventional way. However, when you try to consciously open and close the Sunshade during operation, forwardlooking becomes unstable and response to emergency situations also slows. Because of these problems, the recent high-end vehicle has launched sunroof which is opened and closed Sunshade by the power of the motor just button operation. This improves the convenience of the user, as well as driving safety. In order to drive the electrically Sunshade, the disadvantage that the use of two motors to a sunroof occurs. Should be added the motor to drive Sunshade, on to motor for driving the glass was used in the conventional. Cable that converts the rotational force of the motor into linear force and guide tube should be added also. Increase in the investment cost caused by an increase parts increase the price. And the effect is direct to the consumer. Because of this hig-end vehicles only the trend is electrically driven sunshade is applied. In this paper, The sunshade can be driven by a single motor is designed mechanism structure.

Recently, trends in the domestic automotive industry is accelerating the research into environmentallyfriendly energy development as well as improving fuel efficiency through energy development. In particular, electric cars as well as future industry to utilize the electrical energy being actively conducted using solar energy. WebastoDonghee now has developed Solar Glass aimed at improving fuel efficiency by producing additional electric energy with the inserted solar cell in the glass of the panorama roof on the car. In the paper, we have designed a link structure for always on. by using a tensile and compression spring it was to enable the electrical connection for always on during operation the movable glass. In addition, We performed an insulating coating to prevent corrosion of the electrical parts exposed to the outside.

Webasto Donghee now has developed aimed at improving fuel efficiency by producing additional electric energy with the inserted solar cell in the glass of the panorama roof on the car. Thus in the paper, we designed the structure using a spring connector of material beryllium copper. Beryllium copper has good electrical conductivity, superior elasticity and has a high stress relaxation resistance at high temperatures. Also it has been used in the electrical and electronic connector material. Using a spring connector with the number of variables are considered in order to transfer the power addition was performed a commercially available program, ABAQUS 6.12 stress analysis for satisfying durability.
