Occupational Stress and Physical Symptoms among Family Medicine Residents

Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the levels of occupational stress and physical symptoms among family medicine residents and investigate the effect of subscales of occupational stress on physical symptoms. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire survey of 1,152 family medicine residents was carried out via e-mail from April 2010 to July 2010. The response rate was 13.1% and the R (ver. 2.9.1) was used for the analysis of completed data obtained from 150 subjects. The questionnaire included demographic factors, resident training related factors, 24-items of the Korean Occupational Stress Scales and Korean Versions of the Wahler Physical Symptom Inventory. Results: The total score of occupational stress of family medicine residents was relatively low compared to that of average workers. The scores of ‘high job demand’, ‘inadequate social support’, ‘organizational injustice’, and ‘discomfort in occupational climate’ were within the top 50%. Parameters associated with higher occupational stress included level of training, on-duty time, daily patient load, critical patient assigned, total working days, night duty day, sleep duration, and sleep quality. The six subscales of occupational stress, except for ‘Job insecurity’, had a significant positive correlation with physical symptom scores after adjustment had been made for potential confounders (total score, r = 0.325 and P < 0.001;high job demand, r = 0.439 and P < 0.001). Conclusion: After the adjustment had been made for potential confounders, the total score of occupational stress and six subscales in family medicine residents showed a significant positive correlation with physical symptom scores.

This paper studies the detection of license plate outline. This study proposes the best method for detecting license plates by calculating the distance from the vehicle through pixel values of license plates detected through various methods for detecting the outline of license plates. The license plate is detected through DNN as a preprocessing process, and an accurate outline is detected based on the image. Estimating the distance and angle is a step for estimating the posture of the vehicle, and the higher the accuracy of detecting the license plate outline of the vehicle, the higher the accuracy of estimating the posture of the vehicle. In this paper, we propose the method with the highest accuracy among the various extraction methods of the outline.

This paper presents an automatic Contact Bar detection and positioning algorithm for the PentaGraph automatic charging system used in domestic bus garages. The algorithm utilizes deep learning-based image processing techniques to real-time detect Contact Bars, track the movements of the transfer-type connector, and calculate correction values. It efficiently derives correction values for five different scenarios and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this algorithm in practical applications. This research is expected to enhance the accuracy and reliability of high-capacity automatic charging systems for electric buses.

In this paper, we are study on transfer type automatic charging system for electric bus with roof connection systems scenario and communication. Conventional phantograph type charing system was used for single bus charging on bus stop. The conventional expected the designing low battery capacity with the frequently recharging system. However, most bus stay in a bus service office until midnight after bus operation. It has several problem using the transfer type automatic charging system for electric bus with roof connection systems. The scenario are studied for solving the problem of the proposed system.

Accurately verifying the complete parking status of a vehicle in automated charging and automated equipment is essential. In particular, accurately determining the parking status of a vehicle before initiating tasks such as robot-assisted automatic charging is crucial for ensuring safety. In this study, we propose a parking recognition algorithm using license plate Pose-Estimation. By using the standardized size of the license plate, we accurately measure the distance between the vehicle and the camera using perspective transformation techniques. Based on this, we analyze the movement of the license plate in a specific frame set to quickly determine the parking status of the vehicle. The proposed algorithm is expected to assist in the operation of automated equipment, enhancing overall operational efficiency and safety.
