도로교통 기반 통행목적별 접근성 지수를 활용한 복합개발 방향설정

The Mixed-Use Development (MXD) has been recognized not only to play a critical role in vitalizing urban diversity, but also to solve such urban problems as dependence on automobile travel and worsening traffic congestion. The purpose of this study is to deduce the directions on how to categorize as well as where to locate various MXD types, by using spatial accessibility indices by travel purpose in the Seoul metropolitan area. First, we constructed the Origin/Destination Matrix with shortest travel time and distance respectively, through GIS network analysis as a process, to calculate the spatial accessibility indices by travel purpose. Seond, based on these results, we extracted and categorized the areas wherein a certain MDX type is more feasible through factor analysis of accessibility indices by dong-level. Conclusively, seven potential MXD types were categorized and their locations were provided. Our analysis results can be contributed to deciding the directions for MXD projects in the Seoul metropolitan area in future.
