This thesis investigates the Quantitative aspect of epidemic phenomena utilizing the analytical method of discrete time systeMs based on the theory of Markov processes. In particular, the pattern on the epidemic character of turberculosis controlled by prophylaxis and BCG vaccinatioll was analyzed by the markovian model of tuberculosis system which is derived according to the ecologic relationship between nine epidemiologic states of individuals. The quantitative aspects of the model were characterized by digital computer simulations.

최근 전력용 변압기의 고효율, 소형화 추세에 따라 권선의 단위면적당 열발생률이 증가하고 있으며 이는 변압기의 수명과 단락사고에 직결되는 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단순화한 2차원 전력용 변압기 모델의 계산 시간을 줄이기 위해 복합격자(Hybrid mesh) 생성기법을 적용하여 모델링하고 유한요소법을 이용한 자계해석으로 권선과 철심의 Joule's loss를 계산하였다. 계산된 열원으로 전력용 변압기의 최고점의 온도와 열적 특성을 파악하고자 CFD algorithm을 이용하여 변압기 내부의 온도분포를 예측하였다.

This paper describes the modification required to produce an efficient three-phase Load-flow using as a reference the single-phase fast-decoupled algorithm. The algorithm provides, fast and reliable convergence even with extreme conditions of steady-state unbalance.

The Synchronous reluctance motor is a sinewave ac motor and it has cylindrical surfaces on both sides of teh air gap. The stator is conventional polyphase ac stator, while the rotor has internal flux barriers shaped to maximize the ratio of d-axis to g-axis reactance. This paper presents the finite element analysis and parameter measurement of the synchronous reluctance motor(SRM). The model motor is a 3-phase SRM with the segmental rotor and its rating is 0.175kw. The torque characteristic is analysed by finite element method and compared with that from measurement.

This paper presents dynamic performance prediction of Synchronous Reluctance Motor Matl-ab/Simulink considering iron loss. Test motor is 3 phase Syn RM with the segmental rotor and using it's rating power is 0.175KW. Experimental equipment consists of test motor, dy-namometer, vector invertor, dyname controller, and power analyser. The stator iron loss androtor iron loss are modelled by additional windings on three-phase winding axis. These windings are transformed into d-q axis, and are represented as equivalent eddy current windings. P-Q circle diagram method adn single phase standstill method are used to measure motor parameters considering iron loss. After estimating Ld and Lq, another parameters(iron Loss, torque, Xd, Xq, Ld-Lq, Ld/Lq) of Synchronous Reluctance Motor are measured from Ld and Lq. it is to be used as input parameters to Matlab/Simlink for dynamic performance prediction of Synchronous Reluctance Motor.

This paper deals with improving the characteristics of the reluctance motor with the segmental rotor. These improvements result from incorporating a shallow axial channel in the centre of the air gap face of each segment, filling of this channel with conducting material and shaping of the ends of the segment. To know the characteristics of the distribution of flux, the f.e.m. is applied on the direct-axis so that the ratio of the direct-axis and the quadrature-axis in the test machine is larger than in the conventional machine. The torque has the maximum value at the load angle of 45°as generally is expected.
