        3년제 간호대학 신입생의 자아존중감, 정서지능, 사회적 지지가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-esteem, emotional intelligence and social support on college adjustment in first year students in nursing. Methods: The participants were 270 first year nursing college students. Data were collected from September 5 to 12, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0. Results: A positive correlation was found between college adjustment and self-esteem as well as emotional intelligence. The strongest predictor of college adjustment was satisfaction with nursing as a major. In addition, self-esteem, emotional intelligence, age, club membership, frequency of contact with faculty, and satisfaction with school life accounted for 57% of variance in college adjustment. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that programs promoting satisfaction with nursing major and appropriate counseling and academic guidance for nursing students are important for college adjustment in college nursing students.

        간호대학생의 대 2병 경험

        This study was attempted to prepare the basic data necessary for developing a counseling program and career program suitable for the characteristics of the nursing department in the future by exploring the meaning of nursing students’ experiences of sophomore syndrome. The participants of this study were nine second-year students in the nursing department of one university in N city. The data collection period was from December 1, 2020 to January 15, 2021, and the data were collected through individual in-depth interviews and analyzed according to the qualitative content analysis method. As a result of analyzing the meaning of the experience, three thematic collections were composed: ‘symptoms of sophomore syndrome’, ‘causes of sophomore syndrome’, and ‘methods of overcoming sophomore syndrome’. Active support and support systems from universities and departments are needed so that nursing students can prepare for their careers and have psychological stability. We propose a qualitative study by applying the grounded theory methodology that intensively observes the relationship between society and the social environment from an interaction point of view.

        육아휴직 후 직장에 복귀한 간호사의 적응과정

        Purpose: This study was conducted to generate a grounded substantive theory of the adaptation process of nurses who return to work after taking parental leave. Methods: Individual in-depth interviews with 13 participants were conducted between June and September 2014. Participants were interviewed 1~3 times; interviews were continued until the data became saturated. Data were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin"s grounded theory method. Results: The core category of experience of the process of adaptation as a nurse who returned to work after parental leave was ‘trying to regain one"s previous position’. Participants used five interactional strategies: ‘preparing in advance’, ‘initiating relationships with colleagues’, ‘keeping a positive attitude’, ‘understanding parenting helpers’, ‘Taking burden off one"s mind’. Conclusion: The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for the adaptation process of nurses returning to work after taking parental leave. The importance of improving nurses" attitudes to their co-workers who take parental leave is highlighted along with the necessity of providing a family-friendly work environment. These results can be used to develop supportive policies and programs for nurses who return to their work after parental leave.

        간호대학생의 자기효능감과 학업스트레스가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 대학생활적응과 밀정한 관련이 있는 자기효능감과 학업 스트레스 정도를 파악하고 대학생활적응과 하위 구성요소에 영향을 미치는 예측요인을 확인하고자 하였다. 2017년 6월 1일부터 15일까지 자가 보고식 설문조사로 진행하였으며 측정도구는 자기효능감, 학업스트레스, 대학생활적응 측정도구를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며 기술통계, 상관관계, 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 간호대학생의 자기효능감 평균은 2.95점, 학업스트레스는 2.81점, 대학생활적응은 3.28점으로 나타났으며, 자기효능감, 학업스트레스, 대학생활적응 간에 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 자기효능감 수준이 높을수록 학업스트레스가 낮을수록 대학생활적응을 잘하는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 전체 변수는 대학생활적응에 대해 약 24%의 설명력을 나타냈으며(F= 11.49, p<.001) 하위변수로는 전공수월성이 자기효능감과 학업스트레스 모두와 통계적으로 유의하였으며 27.8%의 높은 설명력을 나타냈다(F= 15.64, p<.001). 결론적으로 간호대학생들의 학업 스트레스 대처능력 향상과 자기효능을 높이기 위한 프로그램 개발 및 지원이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of self-efficacy and academic stress related to college life adjustment in college students and to identify predictive factors influencing college life adjustment and sub components. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire from 191 nursing using convenient sampling methods from June 1 to 15, 2017. Data were analyzed using SPSS WIN/PC 22.0 by means of descriptive statistics, Pearson coefficient correlation and multiple regression. The average score of self-efficacy, academic stress and adjustment to college life was 2.95, 2.81 and 3.28 respectively There were positive correlations among satisfaction in major, self-leadership, and career preparation behavior. The higher the level of self-efficacy, the lower the academic stress, the better the adaptation to college life. These variables together explained 24% of the adjustment to college life in nursing student(F= 11.49, p< .001) As for the sub-variables, the excellence of the major was statistically significant with both the self-efficacy and the academic stress, and showed a high explanatory power of 27.8%(F= 15.64, p<.001). In conclusion, nursing college students need to develop and support programs to improve academic stress coping ability and self efficacy

        남자 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 성역할 갈등이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 남자간호대학생의 전공만족도, 성역할 갈등, 진로준비행동과의 관계를 파악하여 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. G시와 J도에 위치한 간호대학에 재학중인 남자 간호대학생 527명을 대상으로, 2017년 4월부터 5월까지 자가 보고식 설문조사로 시행되었다. 수집된 자료는 평균, 표준편차, Pearson corrleation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression를 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 남자 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 성역할 갈등 수준이 높을수록 진로준비 행동을 잘하는 것으로 나타났으며, 전공만족도와 성역할갈등은 남자 간호대학생의 진로준비 행동에 영향을 미치는 변수로, 모형의 설명력은 약 16%로 나타났다. 그러므로 남자 간호대학생의 전공만족도가 진로준비 행동으로 연결할 수 있도록 학교와 학과에서는 학생들의 수준에 맞고 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 교육커리큘럼 개발노력과 지원이 필요하겠으며, 성역할 갈등에 대한 개별적 의식개선 노력과 더불어 학교차원에서도 간호의 양성적 측면을 강조하는 교육과정이 개선 및 비교과 활동을 개발하여 남자 간호대학생으로 하여금 적극 참여를 권장해야 겠다. Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the influence of nursing satisfaction in major, and gender role conflicts on career preparation behaviors among male nursing students. Methods: The subjects were 527 male students in nursing college. Data were collected from self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson corrleation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The average score of satisfaction in major, gender role conflicts, and career preparation behavior was 3.91, 3.04, and 2.40 respectively. There were positive correlations among satisfaction in major, gender role conflicts, and career preparation behavior. These variables together explained 16% of the career preparation behavior in male nursing students. Conclusion: In order to connect the satisfaction in major with career preparation behaviors, the school and the department will need a lot of efforts and support for developing educational curriculum that can meet the students level and interst, and practical training for clinical practice.
