It is planned and played by the group under the guidance, not direction, of a competent, flexible leader. It differs from the production of a formal play in several ways, First, the emphasis is on the player not the product. It is the process through which the players progress that is important rather than the production. Second, there is no set script dialogue and action grows out of an idea, a poem or a story presented to the group. Third, there is no need for a stage, scenery props or costumes. the necessary requirments are few a group of a children, a space large enough to allow for free movement of players. a qualified leader and an idea from which to create.
