Die slide injection marvelously reduces the cost and time in processing plastic products because they can simplify the conventional process through eliminating additional process. However, this process must resolve some defects like whitening, resin infiltration, blowhole, resin overflow, etc. In addition to, secondary injection process(Resin-Seal-Molding) occur in the high-speed injection. In this study, the process parameters of the injection molding are optimized by using the finite element method and Taguchi method. The injection molding analysis is simulated by employing the Moldflow insight 2010 code and the 2nd injection is by adopting the Multi-stage injection code. The process parameters are optimized by using the L9 orthogonal array and smaller-the-better characteristics of the Taguchi method that was used to produce an airtight container(coolant reservoir tank) from polypropylene(PP) and polyethylene(PE). Meanwhile, the optimum values are confirmed to be similar in 95% confidence and 5% significance level through analysis of variance(ANOVA). Moreover, according to materials (Two kinds of PP, one kind of PE) were compared by measuring the material properties (TGA: Thermo Gravimetric, DSC: Differential Scanning Calorimetry, IR: Infrared Ray). In this way, the applicability of the Die slide injection was confirmed.

In this study, die slide injection molding for resin-seal-molding of airtight container should be resolved in the resulting defects. The process variables are optimized by using the L16 orthogonal array and smaller-the-better characteristics of the Taguchi method. The optimum values are confirmed to be similar in 95% confidence and 5% significance level through analysis of variance (ANOVA). And modifying the mold for resin-seal-molding is performed and rusin experiment. In addition, the dimensions of existing products and improved products is analyzed by measuring the degree of improvement through measurement and analysis of actual mold dimensions are compared.

In this study, metallic plastics that were used to replace the metal plating and painted parts of the automotive paintless interior parts were investigated. Polyamide(PA) 6 based metallic plastics were used to develop paintless inside door handle for enhancing the part properties of fracture load and increasing eco-friendly process. The fracture load of the inside door handle(design model 2) was 13.5 % higher than that of the handle(design model 1). The injection molded parts of the model 2 did not show weld lines on the surface of the parts. At a high load(over 50 kgf in this study), the developed inside door handle was not broken, which was seemingly due to the increase in the elongation at break and yield stress of metallic plastics.
판상형 충전제의 함량과 배향에 따른 PP복합체의 영률 변화 연구

이 논문은 판상형 충전제의 함량과 배향에 따라 폴리프로필렌 복합체의 영률 변화에 미치는 영향을 연구 하였다. 이론적인 예측은 Lee와 그의 연구자들에 의해 제안된 두 개의 종횡비, ρα=a1/a3과 ρβ=a1/a2 를 이용하여 3차원 타원체의 형상을 계산하였고 실험값과 비교 분석하였다. 판상형 충전제로 운모와 탈크를 사용하였다. 충전제의 형태는 SEM을 이용해 관찰하였고, 종횡비는 고분자의 흐름을 기준으로 좌표축을 설정하여 통계적 방법으로 계 산하였다. 충전제가 운모인 경우에 ρα=13.5와 ρβ=1.8이었고, 탈크의 경우는 ρα=3.8과 ρβ=1.4이었다. 또한 충전제 의 2개의 종횡비와 함량이 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 운모의 경우 30 wt% 함량일 때 E11이 약 2.7배 향상되었다. 탈크의 경우는 E11이 약 2.3배 향상하였다. This paper studied the effects of the content and the orientation of the disk shape fillers on the modulus of PP composites. The experimental results were compared with the theoretical calculations which included the three dimensional ellipsoids and analyzed by two aspect ratios, ρα=a1/a3 and ρβ=a1/a2 proposed by Lee and his researchers. Mica and talc were used as disk shape fillers in the composites. The shapes of mica and talc were observed by SEM and aspect ratios were statistically calculated. For the case of mica, the average aspect ratios were ρα=13.5 and ρβ=1.8, and for the case of talc, they were ρα=3.8 and ρβ=1.4. Also, the effects of two aspect ratios and the content of filler on the mechanical properties were studied: For 30 wt% of mica, E11 increased up to about 2.7 times, and for the other case of talc, E11 increased up to about 2.3 times, respectively.

N/A The non-mature antlers of deer, Cervi Parvum Cornu (CPC), have been used as a tonic in traditional Korean medicine. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of Cervi Parvum Cornu which is newly processed by lyophiliztion. We compared lyophilized CPC (LCPC) with parboiled CPC (PCPC) by the yield of water extract, the contents of total free amino acids and the patterns of gangliosides. Methods: We analyzed the quantitiative and qualitative determinations of amino acids in LCPC using HPLC method. The contents and patterns of gangliosides in LCPC were measured by gravimetric analysis and HPTLC. Results: The yields of the water extract from LCPC and PCPC gave 18% and 10%, respectively. The contents of total free amino acids in the PCPC were much higher than the LCPC. Comparing the TLC pattern of gangliosides, the both samples showed similar patterns as the purchased gangliosides. The contents of gangliosides in the LCPC (18.6 mg/g) were higher than those in the PCPC (14.3 mg/g). Conclusions: These results suggest that the lyophilizing process may be an alternative method for improving the quality of CPC.
돼지 비장 미토콘드리아로부터 Peptidylprolyl cis-trans Isomerase의 정제에 관한 연구

돼지 비장의 미토콘드리아로부터 2회의 Sephadex G-75 gel filtration chromato- graphy, 이온 교환 chromatography를 실시해서, 분리 정제한 PPIase는 prolyl peptide의 cis-trans 이성화 반응을 촉매하였으며, 전기 영동상에서의 거동은 세포질에서 분리한 PPIa- se와 동일하다. A peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase(PP1ase) was isolated and purified from porcine spleen mitochondria using two consecutive Sephadex G-75 gel filtration chromatography, CM-trisacryl M cation exchange chromatography. The molecular weight of the enzyme determined by SDS-PAGE was -14,400 daltons. Porcine spleen mitochondria1 PPIase was assayed with satisfaction by the PPIase-chymotrypsin coupled assay method and showed the compatible properties a cytosolic PPIase.
