치유에 대한 관심은 인간 역사와 함께 존재하여 왔다. 타락한 인간에게 고통과 죽음이라는 징계가 내려졌을 때부터 이 고통에서 해방 받고자 하는 열망이 있었다. 인간은 고통에서의 나음 즉, `치유`를 원하며, 하나님께서는 자기 백성을 치유하시는 역사를 하셨다. 근래에 와서 치유사역이 육신의 질병을 치료하는 단순한 진료행위가 아니라 인간의 총체적 진료를 시도하는 전인치유 혹은 통전적 치유(Holistic Healing)에 대한 관심으로 확산되었다. 하나님은 치유하시는 하나님이다. 그 치유를 통하여 하나님의 영광을 드러내고 하나님의 나라를 확장시키시기를 원하신다. 하나님의 치유는 어느 한 부분에만 집중되는 것이 아니라 인간의 영과 육, 그리고 이 사회와 환경의 모든 문제를 치유하시는 은혜를 통하여서 능력 있는 삶을 살도록 해야 하는 것이 치유상담자의 책무요 특권이다. 이것은 성경적 상담학의 관점에서 실시되어야 한다. 하나님께서는`치료하시는 하나님`이시며 우리들의 각종 질병을 치유하시기를 원하신다. 그러나 우리들의 질병이 치유함을 받지 못하더라도 우리에게 주시는 하나님의 은혜를 감사하며, 하나님의 영광을 위한 삶이 필요하다. 우리가 바울에게서 찾을 수 있는 주어진 환경에서의 감사가 바로 적용되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 치유에 대한 이해와 치유사역의 특성, 그리고 성경적 상담을 통한 치유사역의 실제를 탐구한다. Humans have a problem of suffering that needs to be healed. We try several methods to go solve this problem but there is a need for a proper healing ministry based on the principles of the Bible. The interest in healing has existed with human history. Since the curse of suffering and death has come to the fallen mankind, there was a desire to receive liberation from this suffering. Humans desired to recover from this suffering, i.e. to be healed, God made history by saving his people. In recent years the healing ministry is not just about medical practices to treat the diseases of the body but interest has increased in attempting to heal the whole being as a holistic healing. God is a God who heals. God wants to reveal his glory and extend his kingdom through healing. God`s healing is not limited to one part but includes the body and spirit, and it is the obligation and privilege of the counseling ministry to cure all the problems of the society and the environment. This should be carried out from the perspective of Biblical counseling. We do not want to suffer due to these diseases. They must be healed through the various ways God has allowed. God meant us to maintain our health through natural law but the preventive prescription taught by the Bible are also necessary. God is the `healing God` and wants to heal our various diseases. But even if our diseases are not healed we can thank God for his grace upon us and need to for his glory. Like Paul we need to be thankful in every circumstances. Looking at healing as a special grace from God we have to overcome the pain of diseases and show devout maturity in our life situations. This study explores the understanding and characteristics of healing ministry and practice of healing ministry through Biblical counseling.
