실천적 칼빈주의와 성경적 상담

칼빈주의는 기독교의 단순한 교리가 아니라 하나의 독특한 사상체계로서의 특성을 가지고 있다. 칼빈주의는 역사적으로 크게 두 가지 형태로 발전되었는데 하나는 주관적 행동을 강조하는 것으로서 영국의 청교도와 독일의 경건주의 같은 신학이다. 다른 하나는 객관적 신학체계로서 기독교 스콜라주의 신학으로 발전하였다. 산국에 소개된 칼빈주의는 이 두가지 형태의 영향을 동시에 받았다. 칼빈주의 신학의 특성은 하나님 중심의 신학, 성경중심의 신학 그리고 교회중시의 신학이다. 이런 특성 속에서 실천적 칼빈주의가 논의되는데 이것은 아브라함 카이퍼(braham Kuyper)의 주장에서 구체화된다. 카이퍼는 칼빈주의를 삶의 체계라고 규정하였고, 일반은총론과 영역의 주권이론을 통해 실천적 칼빈주의를 구체화하였다. 실천적 칼빈주의의 원리는 하나님의 절대주권, 성경의 절대권위, 변혁주의적 문화사명이다. 이것은 칼빈주의의 핵심을 제시하고 믿음과 행함의 일치를 통하여 하나님의 주권을 확립하는 것이다. 성경적 상담과 실천적 칼빈주의라는 말은 성경적상담은 반드시 성경적이여야 하고 실천적이어야 하며 칼빈주의적이어야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 칼빈주의의 근본원리가 하나님의 주권에 있는 것처럼 성경적 상담 역시 하나님을 바탕으로 해야 한다. 일반상담과 기독교상담 가운데서도 성경을 인간행동의 절대원리로 받아들이지 않는 입장에서는 옳은 것과 잘못된 것을 판단하는 기준이 심리학 중심주의, 자아중심주의, 반기독교적 사고들이다. 이런 상황 속에서 성경을 바탕으로 한 하나님의 주권적 역사를 강조하는 성경적 상담은 실천적 칼빈주의의 한 형태로 구체화되어야 한다. 따라서 본고의 연구목적은 실천적 칼빈주의를 구체화하는 방안으로서 성경적 상담을 활용할 수 있다는 것을 밝히고. 그 근거를 하나님의 주권을 강조하는 칼빈주의와 성경적 상담의 근본원리와 목적의 동일성을 제시함으로 성경적 상담의 정체성을 논의하는데 있다. 실천적 칼빈주의를 논의하기 위해서 칼빈주의의 역사와 특성, 실천적 칼빈주의의 가능성과 실천적 칼빈주의의 원리를 살펴보고, 실천적 칼빈주의로서의 성경적 상담과 미래에 대한 전망을 제시했다. Calvinism is not simply a Christian doctrine but it has unique philosophical characteristics. Calvinism developed into two distinct forms throughout history. One, as in English Puritanism and German pietism, emphasizes subjective behaviors, whereas the other, in scholastic theology, emphasizes objective theological doctrines. The form of Calvinism introduced in Korea has influences from both branches of such theological development. The theoretical characteristic of Calvinism centers around the concept of total and absolute sovereignty of God and the Church. Abram Kuyper (1837-1920), a Dutch theologian, defined the concept of practical Calvinism (also known as neo-Calvinism) as the fundamental way of life where God continually influences the life of believers. By elaborating on the concepts of common grace (also called efficacious grace) and the theories of sovereign grace, Kuyper advanced and gave content to Calvinism. The principles of practical Calvinism is a cultural mandate of God`s absolute sovereignty, the absolute authority of the Bible, and transformation. This is to define and establish God`s sovereignty through the unity of faith and action. The term “Practical Calvinism and counseling” implies that biblical counseling must be rooted firmly in the Bible and the principles of practical Calvinism. Just as the fundamental principle of Calvinism lies in the absolute sovereignty of God, biblical counseling also must be God-centered. Among secular and Christian counseling practitioners, there are those who do not accept the Bible as the absolute principle of human behavior and rather base their practice on psychological egocentrism and anti-Christian beliefs. It is imperative, therefore, for biblical counseling to emphasize the absolute sovereignty of God through its biblical foundation. This monograph seeks to provide ways in which biblical counseling can further advance practical Calvinism. Calvinism and biblical counseling have a common goal of emphasizing the absolute sovereignty of God, and thus a discussion of Calvinism`s history and characteristics must take place. This volume will examine the principles of practical Calvinism and contemplates the future prospects of practical Calvinism and biblical counseling.

성경적 상담과 상담목회의 실천

현대 목회는 위기 상황에 있다. 가치관의 혼란에서 오는 시대적 상황이 목회를 어렵게 한다. 목회를 위한 접근 모델은 은사적 모델, 전통적 모델, 개혁 주의적 모델 등으로 나눌 수 있는데 평신도들의 문제를 어떻게 해결하느냐에 그 초점이 있다. 연구자는 여러 모델들 가운데서 개혁주의적 모델을 기초로 하여`성경적 상담목회`를 그 원리로 제시하고자 한다. 성경적 상담은 성경을 상담의 원리와 방법으로 삼고 성경의 가르침대로 하는 상담이다. 그러므로 성경적 상담의 바른 실천을 위해서는 성경적 상담의 원리와 방법을 정립하여야 한다. 이것을 기초로 하여 상담목회를 실천해야 하는데 현대사회 속에서 살아가면서 정신적, 육체적, 심리적으로 어려움을 겪는 사람을 단순한 문제 해결뿐만 아니라 그들의 사고와 감정과 행동과 성품을 성령과 말씀을 통해 변화시키고 재훈련하여 하나님의 영광을 위해 살도록 하는 것이 성경적 상담이 지향해 가는 목적이다. 따라서 상담목회는 단순한 열정으로 되는 것이 아니라 성경을 바탕으로 한 바른 신학, 성경적 상담에 대한 교육과 훈련, 성경적 상담목회의 실천이라는 단계를 밟아 나가야 한다. 이 사역을 위해 본고에서는 목회적 대안모델로서의 성경적 상담의 실천방안과 상담목회의 전략과 확산에 대해서 고찰한다. Contemporary ministry is at a time of crisis. Confusion of moral values brought on by the societal upheaval makes ministering difficult. In order to help the lay church members cope with these confounding changes, there are a number of approach models, including mentor model, traditional model and reformed model, to the ministry. This article takes the reformed model as the foundation and biblical counseling ministry as the principle of contemporary ministry. Biblical counseling is a method of counseling that takes the bible as the basis of all counseling principles and methods. Therefore, in order for a proper practice of biblical counseling, it is necessary to formulate and articulate the principles of biblical counseling. Such principles must be the basis of counseling ministry, which must aim to not only resolve the spiritual, physical and psychological difficulties faced by lay Christians in contemporary society but also fundamentally transform their lives through the Holy Spirit and the bible. The ultimate purpose of biblical counseling ministry is to help Christians live their lives for the glory of God. Counseling ministry, therefore, cannot be carried out only through one`s passion or compassion, and it requires a systematic training in theology, principles and practice methods of biblical counseling. For the purpose of such ministry, this article offers biblical counseling as an alternative model of contemporary Christian ministry and examines practice methods and ways of expanding and spreading biblical counseling in the Korean church.

연구논문 : 성경적 상담 관점에서 본 이야기치료

본 논문에서는 상담학 분야에서 새롭게 시도되고 있는 이야기치료의 내용들을 살펴보고 성경적 상담 관점에서 이를 다루어보았다. 사람의 삶은 이야기를 떠나서는 살 수 없을 만큼, `이야기`는 개인, 문학, 영화 등 모든 분야에서 활용되어지고 있다. 사람의 마음을 흡입하고 공감할만한 `스토리`가 없는 드라마가 성공할 수 없듯이 어떤 `이야기`를 소유하고 있느냐에 따라 모든 개인이나 물건의 가치가 상승되는 시대가 되었다. 이야기는 상담 가운데에서도 자연스럽게, 그리고 필수적으로 드러난다. 누구나 생활 속에서 벌어지는 문제와 어려움을 가지고 있다. 문제의 이야기를 통하여 그 사람의 삶의 정황들이 소개되어지고 아픔이 드러나고 또 다른 이야기를 통해서 치유가 이루어지는 것이다. 이야기치료는 포스트모더니즘의 탄생과 맥을 같이 한다. 절대적 주권이 강조되어진 모더니즘에 반발하여 절대 가치의 추구를 반대하는 포스트모더니즘은 언제나 타자를 인정하고 겸손한 태도 가운데 상대의 이야기를 존중한다. 이야기치료는 어떠한 상황 속에서도 피상담자의 이야기를 받아들이고 피상담자의 판단과 선택을 존중하는 쪽으로 상담이진행된다. 상담자는 피상담자에 대한 정보와 선택에 대하여 `알지 못하는 태도`(notknowing position)를 지닌다. 피상담자의 입장을 `전문가`로서 인정하고, 그들의 판단을 전적으로 수용하고 받아들이는 상담태도는 절대 권력의 위치가 퇴색되어지는 현대 사회 분위기에는 환영받을만한 일이지만 성경적 상담의 관점에서는 점검할 여지가 있다. 왜냐하면 절대적인 기준이 희박해지는 세태 속에서도 여전히 `유일한 절대 가치`로 인정해야 하는 것이 `성경`이기 때문이다. 세상의 기준과 규칙은 변하지만, 성경은 우리 인간 삶의 표준이요 규례로서 존재한다. 그렇기 때문에 이야기치료에서 말하고 있는 `인간중심`의 상담 자세는 `하나님 중심`의 성경적 상담의 태도와는 맥을 달리 한다. 본 연구에서는 이야기치료의 정의, 사상적 배경 및 이야기치료를 구성하는 요소 및 과정들을 다루어진다. 그 가운데 상담진행에 있어서 이야기치료가 지니고 있는 긍정적인 부분을 논의되어진다. 이야기를 통한 상담의 적용과 이야기를 통해 권력계급의 해체를 이끄는 역할 등이 그것이다. 또한 성경적 관점에서 이야기치료가 품고 있는 인간관과 성경관, 그리고 상담자의 역할 등이 연구되어진다. This thesis looks into the content of Narrative Therapy, which is a new experiment in the counseling field, and deals with it from the perspective of Biblical Counseling. A `Narrative` is used efficiently in many fields: personal history, literature, movies and so on, because people cannot live without stories. There is not a successful drama without a `narrative` that captivates and sympathizes the audience. We live in an era, when person`s or good`s value can be increased according to having certain `narrative`. A `narrative` is emerged naturally and essentially in the course of counseling. Everybody has his problems and difficulties happening in his life. Through the `narrative` of a problem, the situation of a man`s life is introduced, and his pain is also revealed. After that, there is a cure through another `narrative`. Narrative Therapy is in line with the birth of Post Modernism. Modernism emphasizes absolute sovereign authority. On the other hand, Post Modernism, which is against Modernism, always recognizes others and respect the others` story with a humble attitude. Narrative Therapy is processed toward to accept counselee`s story and respect his judgement and choice under any circumstances. A Counselor has the `not knowing position` about his counselee`s information and choice. As an expert, a counselor`s counsel attitude that recognizes counselee`s position is very welcomed in the atmosphere of modern society, where the position of absolute authority has been tarnished. However, there must be a reality check from the perspective of Biblical Counseling. Because the Bible should be regarded as `the only absolute value` despite the social condition weakening of absolute standard. The world`s standards and rules have changed, but the Bible still exists as the standard and rules and regulations in our lives. From that point, the counseling attitude of `people-oriented` in Narrative Therapy is differ from it of `God-oriented` in Biblical Counseling. This study looks through the definition and the ideological background of Narrative Therapy, and examines the components and the process of Narrative Therapy. Also the positive side of Narrative Therapy is discussed in the course of counseling. It is the application of counseling through a `narrative` and also it takes the role to dissect of the power of ruling class through a `narrative`. Furthermore, a viewpoint of human beings and the Bible in Narrative Therapy is discussed from the perspective of Biblical counseling. So is the role of counselor.

연구논문 : V.Satir의 의사소통 이론과 상담심방 적용 가능성 연구

본 연구는 의사소통을 통한 가족 상호 작용에 관심을 둔 `V. Satir의 가족 의사소통 이론`의 상담심방 적용 가능성에 관한 것으로서, 기능적 의사소통 향상에 목적을 두고 가족치료적 형태로 행해지는 목회 상담적 심방에 Satir의 의사소통 이론 적용 가능성을 모색함으로써, 실제 교회 심방 사역에서 많이 시행되고 있는 상담심방의 이론적 정립 및 구체적인 가족치료 진행 실제를 제시하는 데에 초점이 있다. 연구의 목적은 Satir의 가족 의사소통 이론의 제 국면을 고찰하여 상담심방 적용 가능성의 기초를 제공하며, 영혼에 대한 사랑과 관심에 동기를 둔 상담심방에 대한 이해와, 성경적인 상담심방의 원리와 방법을 기반으로 한 기독교적 가족 상담으로서의 상담심방 모델을 모색하고, 성경적인 상담심방이 이루어질 수 있도록 방향성과 성경적인 준거 틀을 제공하는 데에 있다. 연구 결과 Satir 이론의 취약점과 한국적인 상황이 가지는 장단점, 그리고 현재 목회상황에 적용함에 있어서 예견되는 제한점들이 있었다. 따라서 Satir 이론은 예수 그리스도를 통한 구원과 은총의 변화된 인간성에 기초한 성경적인 적용방안이 필요함을 알게 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 가족 의사소통 갈등의 문제를 예방하고 치유하는 상담심방의 보다 효과적이고 실천적인 목회상담적 상담심방을 위한 모색점으로서, 가족체계의 특성을 고려하여 갈등문제에 대한 정확한 처방을 세워 근본적으로 해결하는 것이 바람직하다는 것을 알게 되었다. 그리고 본 연구는 기독교 가족 상담심방은 가족 의사소통에 대한 성경적인 관점에서의 올바른 이해를 가지고 있어야 하고, 또한 피상담자와 그 가족 구성원의 변화와 성숙을 지향하여 가족을 향한 하나님의 언약을 이루는 공동체가 되도록 지도해 나가야 함을 제안한다. This study is about the possibility of applying `V. Satir`s Family Communication` to a visit counselling, by searching a potential of applying Satir`s Communication Theory to a mission counsel visiting that conducts the form of family healing in order to improve communication skill. The purpose of the study is to present the foundation of possibility of applying a counsel visiting by considering the Satir`s Family Communicaiton Theory, understand a counsel visiting that is motivated on the love and interest of a soul, search a model of counsel visiting as a christian family counsel that is based on the fundamental truth and method of the bible, and present a direction and a biblical precedent for a biblical counsel visiting. As a result of the study, there were weakness of Satir`s Theory, and advantages and disadvantages of Korean circumstances, and foresight of limitations of applying to a mission situation in the present time. Therefore, Satir`s Theory presents the necessary of the biblical application that is based on a changed human inclination, the salvation, and the grace through Jesus Christ. There are several things to consider, depending on the logical matter. First of all, it is necessary to find a biblical value about human-beings before a counsel visiting. Secondly, it is also needed to find a content and a meaning of a counselling in a biblical principal and interest, because a family was created by God`s creating fundamental truth. In particular, a family worship is important for a counsel visiting to recover a family, because it is easy to do as an improved-communication for a revival of a family gathering and adaptation. Thirdly, it is necessary to have a upright understanding about a family communication to be a biblical counsel visiting. It is desirable to find the basic principal of a communication in a biblical point of view, and try to solve a problem by a christian communication. This study is a fumble point for a more fruitful and practical mission counsel visiting, that prevents and cures a problem of a communication conflict in a family. It also proposes the consideration for a specific character of a family system to solve a conflict problem from the root, an upright biblical way of understanding about a family communication in a christian family counsel visiting, and a guidance with an intention for the people who needs a counsel and his family member`s change and maturity, to be a community that achieves God`s verbal promise for a family.

연구논문 : 완벽주의와 우울에 관한 성경적 상담

대학생의 시기는 자아개념과 자아 정체성 발달, 성역할의 발달, 영적 및 도덕적 발달이라는 발달 과업을 이루어야 하는 중요한 시기이며, 자신의 선택과 책임의 영역이 넓어진 대학생활에도 적응해야 한다. 더구나 사회 진출을 준비하는 시기로서 사회가 요구하는 인재가 되어야 한다는 압박감과 취업에 대한 불안감 등은 대학생들에게 완벽주의를 강화시킬 수 있다. 이러한 완벽주의가 기능적으로 작용할 때는 보람감, 성취감 등을 느끼게 되지만, 역기능적으로 작용할 때는 수행에 대한 높은 기대, 불안, 분노, 대인관계의 어려움, 우울 등의 인지적 · 정서적 · 신체적으로 부적응이 나타나고 심각한 성격장애로 발전할 수도 있다. 본 연구에서는 완벽주의의 역기능적인 면을 중심으로 대학생의 완벽주의와 우울에 대해 연구하였고, 완벽주의와 우울의 상관성을 알아보기 위해 기독대학생들을 대상으로 설문을 한 후 결과를 분석했다. 설문 분석 결과 완벽주의는 부모양육태도와 상관성이 높고, 우울과도 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 신앙성숙도가 높을수록 우울은 낮게 나타났다. 마지막으로 위의 결과들에 대해 성경적 상담학적으로 어떻게 접근할 것인지 연구해보았다. 먼저 C.C.E.F의 성경적 상담의 개념, 원리와 방법을 살펴보고, 대학생의 완벽주의와 우울을 성경적 관점에서 조명해보았다. 또 인간은 하나님께 범죄하여 타락하였고, 인간의 문제(열매)는 마음의 문제(막7장)라는 성경적 입장에서 완벽주의와 우울에 대한 마음의 문제를 알아보고, 성경적 상담으로 어떻게 상담할 것인지 연구해 보았다. 그리고 완벽주의로 인해 우울을 겪고 있는 피상담자에 대해 성경적 상담의 방법을 적용하여 상담한 결과, 하나님의 역사하심과 성경적 대안을 통해 회복되는 과정을 보게 되었다. It is in the period of university students that self-conception, self-identification, sex roles, spirit and morals are developed. Especially, university students should adapt themselves to the new environment where they feel the strong sense of responsibility for their choice, preparing the entry in the society. The perfectionism is expected to escalate from the mental pressure in social demands for the qualified individual as well as the feeling of insecurity for employment. It could be sensed that the perfectionism reinforces feeling of rewards and a sense of achievement in a positive way. Reversely, the perfectionism may cause not only physical maladjustment such as high expectation for achievement, uneasiness, anger, trouble in the social relationship and depression, but also serious personality disorders. The research deals with perfectionism and depression, with an emphasis on the reverse effect of perfectionism. In addition, the survey is carried out with the Christian university students in order to investigate the relativity of perfectionism to depression. The result of the survey indicates that perfectionism is closely related to parental behavior and it has something to do with depression as well. Furthermore, the high Shepherd Scale demonstrates low depression. Finally, how the research results apply is studied on the basis of the biblical counseling. The concept, principle and method of biblical counseling in C.C.E.F are also examined. Furthermore, perfectionism and depression for the university students are reflected in the view of the Bible. Besides, the spiritual issue on perfectionism and depression is considered from the viewpoint of the Bible that humans were depraved from committing a crime against God, and the issue on humans is subjected to the spiritual issue. This research is expected to demonstrate how the counseling should be served on the basis of the Bible. The case shows how God`s work and the biblical alternatives restore the client who is experiencing depression from perfectionism. It is hoped that this research could support the effectiveness and excellence of the biblical counseling, and could be the cornerstone of the biblical counseling to recover some people who suffer from perfectionism.

자가상담이 영적 성숙에 미치는 영향 (광주동산교회를 중심으로)

본 논문을 통해 광주동산교회의 다양한 성경공부 프로그램 가운데 담고 있는 자가상담적 방법이 가져온 삶의 변화를 소개하고자 한다. 한국교회의 성장 정체에 대한 많은 분석과 대안들이 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 수명 주기(週期) 에 안주해 있는 한국교회의 상황을 다시 생명 주기(週期)로 바꾸기 위해선 성경말씀의 효과적인 적용으로 성도들의 삶이 생명력있게 변해야 한다. 광주동산교회는 성경 말씀의 효과적인 적용을 위하여 성경을 공부하고 함께 나눌 수 있는 여러 가지 프로그램들을 단계적으로 또는 통합적으로 개설하여 시행하였다. 그 중 핵심적인 것은 말씀을 통해 자기를 돌아보게 하는 자가상담적 방법을 도입하였다는 것이다. 자가상담은 일반상담에서도 가짜 자존감, 낮은 자존감을 높이고 자기계발을 위한 여러 가지 상담적 도구들에 사용되고 있다. 교회의 다양한 성경공부 속에서 자가상담적 방법은 사람을 변화시켜 하나님의 영광을 위해 살도록 돕는 성경적 상담의 목표와 부합되게 성경 말씀이 자기 자신을 조명하도록 도울 수 있었다. 그것은 성경이 성도들의 삶을 상담하도록 하는 것이었다. 처음에는 익숙하지 않았지만 스스로 말씀을 통해 자신을 보는 훈련을 통해 삶의 세밀한 부분까지 성경 말씀을 통해 상담하는 것을 경험하였다. 그리하여 말씀에 민감한 반응을 보이는 그들이 교회의 리더만이 아니라 가정과 사회의 리더로 세워지게 되었다. 한국교회는 다양한 성경공부의 프로그램들을 가지고 있다. 이런 성경공부들이 단순히 성경을 지식적으로 아는데 그치지 않고 성도들의 삶의 깊숙한 부분까지 성경이 상담할 수 있도록 자가상담적인 부분으로 접근한다면 말씀의 역동적인 능력이 개인과 교회를 치유하는 것을 경험하게 될 것이다. This study aims to introduce life changes that the method of selfcounseling among various bible study programs of GwangJu Dongsan Presbyterian Church has brought. There have been many analyses and methods on the stagnant growth of Korean churches. To change Korean churches that settle for its life cycle back to life cycle, the bible`s words should be effectively applied so that Christians can change their lives lively. GwangJu Dongsan presbyterian church opened and implemented various programs that can be studied and shared together in phases or comprehensively. Above all, the introduction of self-counselling that allows people to look back upon themselves is important. Selfcounselling is also used for diverse counseling tools of general counselling to raise fake and low self-esteem and develop self. Among various methods of bible study, self-counseling helped introspect through the Bible, meeting the goals of biblical counselling that changes a person and lives for the glory of God. That was making the Bible counsel Christians` lives. They were not familiar with this at first but experienced self-counselling through introspection training and even a detailed part of their lives through the Bible. Therefore, they who are sensitive to the bible`s words became the leader of church and of family and society. Korean churches have various programs of Bible study. If the Bible study methods take a self-counselling approach where the Bible counsels Christians` lives in depth, rather than simply teaching the knowledge of the Bible, they will witness that the dynamic capability of bible`s words heals individuals and churches.

상담자 성경교육의 중요성 및 그 방향

현대사회의 키워드 중 하나인`힐링`은 복잡한 사회관계망 속에 서있는 현대인들의 불안하고 소외된 내면을 그대로 고발하고 있다. 그러나 어떤 종류의 다양한 힐링 문화로도 참된 치유를 가져다주지 못한다. 예수님은 이런 인생들을 향하여 진정한 쉼을 약속하셨으며, 따라서 예수님을 통해 하나님과 올바른 관계를 회복해야만 참된 치유와 안정을 얻을 수 있다. 성경적 상담은 하나님께서 치유의 도구로 사용하시는 방법 중 하나로서 성령의 사역이다. 성령이 진리의 영으로서 성경말씀을 통해 역사하신다는 사실을 고려할 때, 말씀을 떠난 성경적 상담이란 불가능하다. 그렇기 때문에 성경적 상담을 수행하는 상담자들은 성령의 역사에 민감하고 성령과 상호협력하기 위해서 철저한 성경교육을 필요로 한다. 기독교 상담은 일반상담과는 달리, 상담을 하나님의 사역으로 보고 있으며, 단순한 문제해결만이 아니라 피상담자의 영적 회복과 성숙에 그 목적을 둔다. 기독교 상담이 성경적 상담이어야만 하는 이유는 첫째, 기독교 상담은 성령의 사역이기 때문이며, 둘째, 상담의 목적인 변화, 영적 성숙은 하나님의 말씀을 통해 이루어지기 때문이다. 셋째, 기독교 진리를 희석시키는 세속 학문의 영향 때문이다. 인간의 근원적이고 본질적인 문제에 대한 답은 오직 성경만이 제시할 수 있다. 따라서 기독교 상담이 세속학문의 영향력으로부터 기독교 진리를 지켜내고, 성경을 통한 여과작업을 통해 통합적 상담을 시행하기 위해서는 성경에 기초를 둔 성경적 상담이어야만 한다. 상담은 성령의 사역이지만, 성령께서는 인간 상담자를 도구로 사용하신다. 따라서 성령의 도구요 협력자로서 상담자는 첫째, 자신이 성령의 도구임을 인정해야 하며, 둘째, 피상담자의 목자가 되어야 한다. 상담자의 자격 요건은 몇 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 분명한 기독교 신앙을 소유한 사람이어야 한다. 둘째, 기도의 사람이어야 한다. 셋째, 말씀의 사람이어야 한다. 물론 영적 자격 외에 체계적이고 전문적인 상담기술과 방법에 대한 교육이 필요하다. 그러나 무엇보다도 올바른 성경적 상담이 이루어지기 위해서는 성경교육이 가장 우선되어야 한다. 성경교육이 중요한 이유는 첫째, 상담자가 성경을 바로 이해하고 해석할 뿐 아니라, 성경말씀을 상담에 적용할 수 있도록 도와주기 때문이다. 둘째, 성경은 인간에 대한 바른 이해를 제시해주기 때문에 상담자로 하여금 피상담자를 하나님 편에서 도울 수 있도록 해준다. 셋째, 성경이 기독교 세계관의 토대이기 때문에 상담자의 성경교육은 중요하다. 그러면 상담자를 위한 성경교육이 어떤 방향으로 이루어져야 할까? 첫째, 상담자가 말씀을 바르게 이해하고 해석할 뿐 아니라, 삶에 적용하며 말씀을 통한 변화를 체험할 수 있도록 돕기 위해서 전인적 성경교육을 해야 한다. 둘째, 상담자가 성경에 기초한 인간관을 확립하고 이를 바탕으로 피상담자를 이해하며 그를 하나님 편에서 돕도록 하기 위해서는 성경교육이 실존적으로 접근되어야 한다. 셋째, 성경교육을 통해 상담자의 기독교 세계관이 형성되도록 해야 한다. 이와 같은 큰 방향 위에 구체적인 방법들은 더 논의되어야할 것이다. One keyword of the modern society, `healing` is earnestly accusing the anxiety and inner sense of alienation of modern people standing in the complex social network. However, any kind of the various healing cultures cannot provide true healing to them. Jesus has promised true rest for these souls, so that true healing and stability can be secured by the recovery of right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Biblical counseling is a work of the Holy Spirit as one of the ways God uses as an instrument for healing. Considering that the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of truth, works through the Bible, biblical counseling without the words of God is impossible. Therefore, the counselors who are conducting biblical counseling require thorough Bible education to be sensitive to the works of Holy Spirit and to perform mutual cooperation. Unlike regular counseling, Christian counseling not only just resolves a problem, but is considered as a work of God with the purpose of spiritual recovery and maturity of the counselee. The reasons why Christian counseling should be the biblical counseling are; first, Christian counseling is the work of the Holy Spirit; second, the purpose of counseling, changing and spiritual maturity, is only possible through the Word of God. The third is the influence of secular studies to dilute the Christian truth. The answers to fundamental and essential problems of human beings can be only provided by the Bible. Therefore, Christian counseling should be biblical counseling based on the Bible in order to defend the Christian truth from the influence of secular studies and to provide integrated counseling with filtration action through the Bible. Although counseling is the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit uses human counselors as a tool. Therefore, as a tool of the Holy Spirit and a co-worker, the counselor; first, need to recognize oneself as a tool of the Holy Spirit; second, need to be the shepherd for the counselee. The qualifications as a counselor can be summarized as follows. First, it should be a person who owns obvious Christian faith. Second, it should be a person of prayer. Third, it should be a person of Word. Besides the spiritual qualifications, it should be a person who is trained in systematic and professional counseling techniques and methods. But above all, Bible teaching should be the highest priority for the correct biblical counseling. The reasons why Bible teaching is important are; first, it helps the counselor not only to understand and interpret the Bible immediately but also to apply the words of the Scripture to the counseling; second, as the Bible presents a correct understanding of the human, it allows counselor to help the counselee on the side of God. Third, the Bible is the foundation of the Christian world view that the Bible teaching is important. Then, in which direction the Bible teaching for the counselor should be made? First of all, a holistic Bible teaching should be given to help them not only understand and interpret the Scripture correctly but apply the Word in their lives and experience the change through the Word. Second, Bible teaching should be approached existentially for the counselor to establish human view based on the Bible and to understand the counselee on this ground and to help them on the side of God. Third, the Christian worldview of the counselor should be formed through Bible teaching. Specific methods will be discussed more on this large scale direction.

연구논문 : 다문화사회에서의 성경적 상담

이 글은 포스트모더니즘 사회에 살고 있는 성경적 상담사가 한국 사회에 이주해 온 이주민들을 이해하며 그들의 문제를 성경적으로 어떻게 상담할 지를 쓰고 있다. 또한 필자가 중국에서 성경적 상담연구소를 통해 사역한 다문화 상담을 소개하고 있다. 먼저 이미 다문화사회로 진입한 다른 나라들의 예를 들면서 그들이 겪고 있는 갈등들을 보면서 예측할 수 있는 갈등을 알아보고 있다. 둘재, 한국의 다문화 상황과 실태를 조사하였고, 셋째, 다문화 사회의 문제점과 성경적 상담을 위한 기본 전제를 썼다. 넷째, 다문화 상담에서의 성경적 상담 적용을 위한 훈련을 썼다. 마지막으로 중국에서 한국인으로서 성경적 상담을 하는 중국성경적 상담연구소의 소개와 상담사례를 소개 하였다. The purpose of the thesis is to understand the immigrants in Korean society and to propose a biblical counseling for the biblical counselors. It also introduces the multicultural counseling took place in Biblical Counselling Institute in China. First, the thesis looks into the predictable conflicts from the cases of the other countries which stepped into multicultural society before Korea. Secondly, it researched the current situation and condition. Third, it identified the issues of multicultural society and the basic prerequisite for biblical counselling. Lastly, it introduced Chinese Biblical Counselling Research Center by Korean, and some case.

개혁주의 성경적 상담의 목회적 적용

한국교회는 시대별로 다양한 목회형태를 경험하였다. 근래에 와서 관심을 모우는 것이 상담목회이다. 상담은 삶의 현장에서 고통당하는 성도들의 문제를 해결하도록 돕는 목회방안이며 따라서 목회자들의 필수 사역이다. 그러나 한국교회에 소개된 대부분의 상담은 심리학 위주이고, 목회자들은 신학에는 익숙하지만 심리학적 훈련을 받지 않았으므로 성도들의 문제를 심리상담사들과 정신과의사들에게 맡기고 있는 실정이다. 반대로 크리스천 상담자들은 심리학에는 익숙하지만 신학적 성경적 훈련을 받지 않았으므로 심리학에만 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 이렇게 상담학적 배경이 없는 목회자들과 신학적 배경이 없는 크리스천 상담자들로 인하여 실시되는 성경과는 거리가 먼 상담으로 인하여 여러 가지 혼란이 생기고 있고, 명칭은 기독교 상담 혹은 성경적 상담이라고 하지만 내용은 일반 심리 상담과 다를 바가 없는 현실이다. 그러므로 이러한 한국교회의 실정에서 목회자들이 개혁주의적 성경적 상담을 목회에 어떻게 적용하느냐가 중요한 과제이다. 이 과제를 풀어나가기 위해서 연구자는 본고에서 개혁주의 성경적 상담이 피상담자의 문제를 해결해 줄 뿐만 아니라 그들을 변화시켜 하나님 말씀대로 살고 하나님께 영광 돌려 드리는 삶을 살게 할 수 있으므로 상담은 목회자의 기본 사역이라는 것을 밝히려고 한다. 따라서 본연구의 목적은 첫째, 개혁주의 신학의 핵심적인 특성인 하나님 중심의 신학, 성경중심의 신학, 교회 중심의 신학을 규명하고, 둘째, 상담목회를 위해서 개혁주의 성경적 상담의 특성은 무엇인지 밝히며, 셋째 성경적 상담을 목회현장에서 어떻게 적용할 수 있는가에 대하여 논하려고 한다. The Korean church has experienced diverse ministry formats throughout its history. Counseling ministry is the most recent focus of interest because it seeks to resolve and aid the believers in their daily struggles. Counseling, therefore, is a critical and crucial mission for the practitioners of pastoral ministry. Unfortunately, many of the pastors, despite their theological training, lack counseling training and psychology-based counseling has become most familiar to the Korean church. As a result, the congregants` problems are left to the care of psychotherapists and psychiatrists. On the other hand, many Christian counselors are familiar with psychology but lack theological or biblical training, there by solely relying on psychological principles for counseling. Between the pastors lacking counseling training and counselors lacking theological training, the socalled “Christian counseling” or “Biblical counseling” as practiced today is not different from secular psychotherapy. The most critical task for the Korean church, therefore, is how the practitioners of pastoral ministry adopt and adapt the biblical counseling to the everyday ministry. This article argues that the pastoral counseling is a fundamental ministry for the pastors as the reformed biblical counseling not only resolves the problems of the believers but it also transforms them to lead a life based on God`s words and for the glory of God. Therefore, the purpose of this study is three fold: First, it identifies the core values of reformed theology as God-centered theology and Bible-centered theology; Second, it states the characteristics of reformed biblical counseling for pastoral ministry; and Third, it explores ways in which biblical counseling can be applied in the daily ministry setting.

연구논문 : 다문화 가정에 대한 기독교 상담학적 접근에 관한 연구

한국땅에 거주하고 있는 외국인 근로자들은 10년사이에 40만명을 넘어섰다. 한국에 있는 다문화인들로는 외국인 이주노동자, 국제결혼이민자, 새터민을 들 수가 있는데 취업과 결혼을 목적으로 이주해 오는 경우가 많다. 또 한 다문화인들이 한국에서 뿌리를 내려 정착하게 되면서 자신의 본국에 있는 가정을 초청하거나 한국사람과 국제결혼을 통해 가정을 형성하여 다문화 자녀를 낳게 되어 다문화 가정을 이루게 되는 일이 많아지게 되었다. 다문화가정은 폐쇄적인 한국사회에서 많은 부당한 대우와 차별, 주변인들의 냉대, 사회문화적인 적응의 어려움, 언어소통의 문제, 가족내의 갈등, 이중문화의 갈등, 경제적인 어려움, 사회문화적인 적응문제, 자녀양육 문제를 가지고 있다. 하나님은 이러한 다문화인들에 대해 성경에서 언급하듯이, 우리에게 맡겨진 이방족속이면서 하나님의 또다른 영혼구원의 대상자로 보시고 있다. 예수님이 사마리아여인에게 구원의 길을 안내한 것처럼 우리도 다문화인들에 대한 하나님의 계획을 발견하여 한국에서 살아가는 동안 다문화인들과 다문화가정이 지니고 있는 여러 문제에 대한 개별적인 상담이 필요하며, 하나님의 자녀로서의 축복을 받도록 권면하는 것이 중요하다. 그래서 다문화가정을 대상으로 문제해결을 위한 기독교 상담학적인 접근이 필요한데, 이러한 다문화가정이 갖고 있는 어려움 속에서 다문화 가정을 향한 하나님의 원대한 복음사역과 하나님의 계획을 발견하도록 하여야 한다. 따라서, 문제해결을 적극적으로 돕기 위해 기독교적 상담을 통한 삶과 전반적인부분을 다음과 같이 도와 주어야 한다. 첫 번째는 신뢰를 형성하는 것이다. 다문화상담의 관점에서 개인의 호소문제와 그 문제의 핵심을 진단하여야 한다. 두 번째는 그들의 입장에 따라먼저 소망을 주어야 한다. 세 번째는 다문화가정들의 다양한 문제를 이해해야 한다. 네 번째는 그들의 배경 및 자원들에 대한 자료를 수집하여야 한다. 다섯 번째는 수집된 다양한 자료를 해석해야 한다. 여섯 번째는 권면하여 자신의 죄된 모습인, 옛습관에서 돌아서게 안내해야 하며, 하나님께로 인도해야 한다. 일곱 번째로, 그들의 삶이 전반적으로 변화하게 하여야 하며, 여덟번째로는 하나님이 주신 축복대로 열매 맺게 하여야 한다. 다문화의 배경 속에 있는 피상담자가 상담을 통해 하나님을 만나게 되거나 자신의 문제를 새롭게 지각하는 영적인 눈을 갖게 된다면 자신의 문제나 자신의 현재 모습이 새롭게 보이며 앞으로의 다가오는 문제들에 대해서도 다른 대안을 모색할 수 있게 된다. 또한 성령께서는 다문화인들 속에 임재하셔서 그들이 먼 이국땅에서 오게 된, 하나님의 깊은 계획과 다문화 가정을 이루게 된 것이 축복임을 알게 회복을 주실 것이다. 더나아가 자신과 같은 외국인들에게 가서 제자를 세우며 하나님의 나라의 지평을 넓히는 사역에 동참하게 되며 복음을 전파하는 전도자로서 새로운 국면에 도전하고 감사하며 살게 될 것이다. The foreign workers have been over four hundred thousands for the past 10 years. The multicultural persons in South Korea are foreign guest workers, international marriage migrants, and new settlers. But most of them are the ones who have the purpose of getting a job and married. It has been increasing in number that the multicultural persons have a family in South Korea. Once they settle in South Korea or get married to Korean, they invite their own family in their country. That`s how the multicultural families have been increasing. In the closed korean culture, the multicultural families have been unfairly treated, discriminated against, and treated in a cold way by the people around them. And they are also having trouble sociocultural adjusting, understanding korean. And there are conflicts among the family members, double cultural conflicts, financial problem, and problem of raising children. The bible shows that God is thinking them as the pagans given to us and as the ones who are destined to receive salvation as well. We need to discover the God`s will towards the multicultural persons. As Jesus himself showed the samaritan woman the road to salvation, we need to counsel them indivisualy with lots of different problems that the multicultural persons and families have while living in South Korea. It`s essential that they consult of the different problems which the multicultural persons and families have living in South Korea. And through it they may be able to discover the God`s will. And it`s important that we encourage them to receive God`s blessing as the child of God. Therefore it is essential to approach the christian counseling to solve the problems concerning the multicultural family. So we have to help the multicultural families discover the God`s great ministry of the gospel and the God`s will towards them. And so you have to help them with the following things so that we can help them solve their problems actively. The first one is for them to have faith in you. You must be able to diagnose the problem that they appeal and the core of the problem. The second one is that you must give them hope according to their situations. The third one is that you must understand the different problems that the multicultural families have. The forth one is that we must collect data concerning backgrounds and materials. The fifth one is that you must interpret the different kinds of data which have been collected. The sixth one is that you must guide them to turn around from their sinful figures and their old selves to be led by God. The seventh one is to help their lives to be changed at large. The eighth one is to help them bear fruits according to blessing given by God. If a client with the background of the multicultural case meets God through counsling, he will have the spiritual eyes to recognize his problem in a new way. If then he is able to see his own problems and who he is, he can seek for answers to problems to come. And also the Holy Spirit will come and restore him. And God will allow him to be restored to realize that what he happens to come from a distant land and has a multicultural family is the God`s will and blessing as well. Moreover he will go to another foreigner and raise up deciples, take part in ministry to broaden the horizon of the Kingdom of God, and challenge the situation as an evangelist preaching the gospel. And he will live being thankful for all of them.
