SCR 반응기에서 면적비에 따른 유동균일도에 관한 연구

Generally if the performance of catalyst is good, the reaction performance of SCR depends on flow uniformity at catalyst layers. In this study, we would like to know the characteristic of flow uniformity according to inlet and first catalyst layer’s area ratio in SCR reactor .The flow characteristics for the SCR reactor was investigated with numerical analysis by using commercially available CFD code that is STAR-CCM. Numerical analysis result showed that the flow uniformity’s highest value was 87.96% when area ratio was 1:2 and the lowest value was 69.60% when area ratio was 1:9. The area ratio is higher, the flow uniformity is lower. however flow uniformity is similar when area ratio over 1:7. Therefore area ratio don’t have an effect on flow uniformity after area ratio 1:7.
