과소 구동 전동의수의 파지력 제어를 위한 햅틱 시스템 개발

과소 구동 전동의수는 가벼우며 비교적 경제적이라는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 적응파지가 가능한 과소 구동 전동의수를 대상으로 경제적인 파지력 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 근전도 신호로 구동되는 메인 케이블의 장력으로 파지력이 결정되므로 장력에 따라 사용자의 피부에 부착된 진동모터를 구동하는 촉감기반 피드백 시스템을 구성하였다. 진동 신호에 대한 사용자의 감각적 판단을 기반으로 파지력을 추정하고 제어하기 위하여 파지력과 진동 신호 간의 적절한 변환 관계를 수립하고 시제품 성능시험을 하였다. 최소한의 훈련으로 사용자들은 비교적 정확하게 파지력을 제어할 수 있었다. Underactuated prosthetic hands are relatively light and economical. In this work, an economical grasping force control system is proposed for underactuated prosthetic hands with adaptive grasp capability. The prosthetic hand is driven by a main cable based on a set of electromyography sensors on the forearm of a user. Part of the main cable tension related to grasping force is fed back to the user by a skin-mounted vibrator. The proper relationship between the grasping force and the vibrator drive voltage was established and prototype tests were performed on a group of users. Relatively accurate grasping force control was achieved with minimal training of users.

Tinea capitis caused by Microsporum (M.) canis has been prevalent after 1970s, replacing M. ferrugineum. But, recently as the incidence of M. canis infection has been decreased, the prevalence of tinea capitis has also been decreased. We report a case of tinea capitis seen simultaneously in 2-year-old and 4-year-old sisters. They had several thick scaly bald patches on the scalps after visiting their relatives raising a dog. On mycologic examinations, M. canis was isolated. They were successfully treated with oral terbinafine for 13 weeks and 11 weeks, respectively.

Background : All though the cause of alopecia areata is not known, many studies have recenty focused on the autoimmunity of alopecia areata. Objectives : The objectives of this study were to detect autoantibodies against hair follicular antigens and compare the autoantibody level before and after treatment of alopecia areata. Methods : We collected serum from : (a) 7 alopecia areata patients with good therapeutic responses, (b) 5 alopecia areata patients with poor therapeutic responses (c) 5 normal control people. First, we detected the antigens of hair follicles with SDS-PAGE. Secondly we reacted the antigens with the patients' and normal control serums by Western blotting. Results : The follicular antigens were seen in the range of 44kD-57kD. Autoantibodies obviously apparent in patients of alopecia areata but not in the normal control. High concentrations of were Autoantibodies against follicular antigens seemed to be present in the patients with good therapeutic responses and as they had been treated well, the level of autoantiboies has decreased. Autoantibodies, however, were present in small amounts and were almost an changed between before and after treatment in the patients with poor therapeutic responses except for one case. Conclusion : There are kinds of autoantibodies against hair follicles in the serums of alopecia areata patients, and the titers of antibodies may be correlated with therapeutic responses.
