        A Study of Clinical Application of the Connective Tissue Massage General massage is termed kneading and rubbing. It will bring the effect of blood volume and cardiovascular reaction. Connective tissue massage is a diagnostic and treatment method. But the general massage has not diagnostic aspect. Connective tissue massage techniques are stimulating and stretching the LCT, mast cell, collagenous fiber, fascia, skin, muscle and nerve tissue. Diagnostic aspects of connective tissue massage are visible investigation, manual investigation, and stroking on the reflex zone. CTM do stroking with 3, 4th finger tips on the whole body for the treatment.

        The purpose of this study was to find the effects of scapular pattern and hold-relax technique of propriocetive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF) on the range of motion(ROM) and to find the effects of pain relieve through visual analogue scale(VAS) in frozen shoulder patients. The subjects were consisted of thirty frozen shoulder patients(men ; 9, women ; 21). The measurement of the shoulder range of motion was taken by measuring the degrees of flexion, abduction, and external rotation with a goniometer and the measurement of pain was performed by VAS from pre treatment to one to four weeks The results were as follows : 1. There was the statistical significance not only in the range of motion such as shoulder flexion, abduction, and external rotation, but also in VAS during four weeks(p<.05). 2. By the result of Scheffe's multiple comparison test. there was statistical significance between the values of pre treatment and treatment after one week in the range of motion of shoulder flexion. In that of shoulder external rotation, there was statistical significance between the values of pre treatment and treatment after one week, and between those of treatment after one and two weeks. As the result of this statistical significance of shoulder external rotation, the early treatment was thought to be more effective. However, there was statistical significance in the treatment after two and three weeks in shoulder abduction and was statistical significance between the values of pre treatment and the treatment after one weeks, and between those of treatment after two and three weeks in VAS (p<.05). 3. There was not statistical significance between men and women in the range of motion of the shoulder and in VAS(p>.05). 4. There not statistical significance between th right and left frozen shoulder patients in the range of motion of shoulder and in VAS(p>.05).

        동력분기 / 순환구조 동력전달계의 정성적 성능 해석

        To improve the efficiency of a power transmission system with slip elements, power split/circulation system is applied. The performance of a power split/circulation system varies widely by the change of the followings; the layout of system, the type and gear ratio of planetary gear, the performance of slip element, etc. Therefore, when one designs such a power transmission system or when one determines the economic/power mode of system, a certain performance prediction method is needed. In this study, the internal power flow pattern of a power split/circulation system is theoretically analyzed on several transmission systems. And an effective performance prediction method(so called performance locus diagram) is presented. By this method, the effects of design factors can be easily understood and the qualitative performances of system can be clearly evaluated.

        토크 컨버터의 형상 분석

        The performance of a torque converter can be expressed by the performance parameters such as flow radius and flow angle, on the mean flow path. The geometric analysis of the torque converter is required to determine these parameters for the modeling of the torque converter. In general. the blade shape is depicted by three dimensional data at the mid-surface of blade or those of the pres-sure and suction side. To generate three dimensional model of the blade using the data mentioned above, a consistent data format and a shape generation algorithm are required.<br/> This paper presents a useful consistent data format of the blades and an algorithm for the geo-metrical shape generation. By the geometric analysis program to which the shape generation algo-rithm is embedded, the variation of blade angles in rotating element analyzed. Then finally, the ana-lyzed results of geometric profile of a blade are compared with those of the blade design principle. so called forced vortex theorem.<br/>

      • 토크 컨버터의 등속 상태 성능 실험을 통한 등가 파라미터 결정 방법에 관한 연구

        For the analysis of torque converter, the one dimensional performance model, which is based on the concept of constant mean flow path and constant flow angle, has been used. The assumption of constant parameters make the procedure of analysis and design simple. Because the constant parameters have not exact physical meaning, the correction factors have been used in practise. But the correction factors also have not physical meaning. So, the modelling with variable parameter is needed to consider the contribution of parameters on performance.<br/> In this study, the determination algorithm of variable equivalent parameters is presented for the analysis of the torus flow and the variable flow angle. To set the objective function of optimization, the torque converter was modeled in detail. The parameter determination algorithm is based on the nonlinear optimization and the the initial values of parameters may be supplied. So, the geometric analysis was carried out and the effects of oil temperature was analyzed before optimizing. Using the determined parameters, the torus flow and the behaviour of flow angle is predicted.<br/>

        하이브리드 차량용 클러치 자동화 기구의 특성 연구

        Due to the increase of oil price, the needs of the reduction of the fuel cost is rising. Therefore, necessity of hybrid vehicle that runs with engine and the electric motor is on the rise. In order to improve the performance of hybrid vehicle, many researches is carried out. Hybrid vehicles have been developed with the various layout such as serial type, parallel type, power split type, and multi-mode type. The multi-mode hybrid vehicles are designed to show the efficient driving characteristics at low speed and high speed. But the multi-mode system have the problem such as frequent clutch engagement. Frequent clutch engagement causes the shock of vehicles, and the shock inhibits the ride comfort. In this study, automation mechanism of clutch operation is proposed to mitigate the shock at engaging clutch. For this purpose, the dynamic characteristics of motor control is numerically analyzed by using Matlab/Simulink.

        자동변속기의 과도특성 분석을 위한 토크 컨버티의 변동 파리미터 성능 모델 개발

        To enhance the acceleration performance and fuel consumption rate of a vehicle, the torque converter is modified or newly-developed with reliable analysis model. Up to recently, the one dimensional performance model has been used for the analysis and design of torque converter. The model is described with constant parameters based on the concept of mean flow path. When it is used in practice, some experiential correction factors are needed to minimize the estimated error. These factors have poor physical meaning and cannot be applied confidently to the other specification of torque converter. In this study, the detail dynamic model of torque converter is presented to establish the physical meaning of correction factors. To verify the validity of model, performance test was carried out with various input speed and oil temperature. The effect of oil tempera-ture on the performance is analysed, and it is applied to the dynamic model. And. to obtain the internal flow pattern of torque converter, CFD(Computational Fluid Dyanmics) analysis is carried out on three-dimensional turbulent flow. Correction factors are determined from the internal flow pattern, and their variation is presented with the speed ratio of torque converter. Finally. the sensitivity of correction factors to the speed ratio is studied for the case of changing capacity factor with maintaining torque ratio.

        An automatic transmission is a shifting device of which shifting mechanism is automated by its shifting algorithm(TCU), and consists of several components such as engine. torque converter. one-way clutch, multi-plate clutch and planetary gear sets. The dynamic analysis of automatic transmissions means the performance analysis and prediction for the imaginary driving condition by the numerical analysis program based on the dynamic modeling of components. The reliability of the analyzed results depends on the several factors such as reasonable hypothesis for analysis. valid dynamic models oi components. reliable experimental data and accurate numerical method. To reduce the error of anaysis results, the descriptive limits of dynamic model must be examined, and the proposed model must be reviewed by the experimental results.<br/> In this study, for the automatic transmission of a heavy-duty vehicle driven by caterpillar. the dynamometer test of the transmission was performed to verify the validity of simulation results. Through the experimental data. the effective performance parameters and nonlinear characteristics of engine were obtained.<br/>

      • 하이브리드 철도차량용 주행 성능 시뮬레이터에 관한 연구

        HEV(Hybrid Electrical Vehicle)s are considered as one of the next generation vehicles. To develop the HEV, there must be a reliable simulator, by which the capacities of the power sources are tested, and the parameters of the HEV are optimized before developing the real model of the HEVs. This process can save money for designing the HEV system and improve the system without experiments. Nowadays, traction of railway vehicles is usually provided by diesel fuel combustion. Hybridization offers the potential to achieve a step change in energy efficiency and we also need to develop simulators for performance test of hybrid railway vehicles. In this paper, the type of hybrid drive system is introduced, the characteristics of railway series hybrid system are compared with those of series hybrid vehicle system. A couple of simulators for performance test of HEV are introduced, the idea of constructing railway series hybrid system simulator using MATLAB SIMDRIVELINE is also introduced.
