The performance of a torque converter can be expressed by the performance parameters such as flow radius and flow angle, on the mean flow path. The geometric analysis of the torque converter is required to determine these parameters for the modeling of the torque converter. In general, the blade shape is depicted by three dimensional data at the mid-surface of blade or those of the pressure and suction side. To generate three dimensional model of the blade using the data mentioned above, a consistent data format and a shape generation algorithm are required. This paper presents a useful consistent data format of the blades and an algorithm for the geometrical shape generation. By the geometric analysis program in which the shape generation algorithm is embedded, the variation of blade angles in rotating element is analyzed. Then finally, the analyzed results of geometric profile of a blade are compared with those of the blade design principle, a so called forced vortex theorem.

A Study of Clinical Application of the Connective Tissue Massage General massage is termed kneading and rubbing. It will bring the effect of blood volume and cardiovascular reaction. Connective tissue massage is a diagnostic and treatment method. But the general massage has not diagnostic aspect. Connective tissue massage techniques are stimulating and stretching the LCT, mast cell, collagenous fiber, fascia, skin, muscle and nerve tissue. Diagnostic aspects of connective tissue massage are visible investigation, manual investigation, and stroking on the reflex zone. CTM do stroking with 3, 4th finger tips on the whole body for the treatment.

Because industrial Vehicles drive and work under heavy load condition, the gear ratio of transmission and the stall torque ratio of torque converter is high. Recently, to reduce the cost of vehicle, many people have interest in applying multi-phase torque converter to vehicle and reducing the gear step. In this study, the target performance of vehicle is analyzed and the performance matching of multi-phase torque converter is studied to equip torque converter to heavy duty folk lift vehicle.

The torque converter, an important component of automatic transmissions, is a hydrodynamic device which has a great influence on transient characteristics of vehicle during shift. To predict the accurate driving performance in extremely transient state such as shifting process, a detailed analysis of the torque converter is required. In this study, one dimensional performance model of the torque converter based on the concept of mean flow path, was used to analyze the shifting transients and the exact values of equivalent parameters were determined from the experimental results by using BOX program. The dynamic modelings of the components of power transmission systems such as engines, planetary gear systems, clutches and one-way clutches, were carried out. To analyze the shifting transients of tracked vehicle, a simulation program was developed. In the modeling of power transmission systems, the stiffness of shafts was neglected and shifting control logic(TCU) was included. Using the developed simulation program, the driving conditions were simulated and the results of simulation were verified through the experiments on the dynamometer.
