요추질환의 CT진단상 다면상 재구성 (Multiplanar Reconstruction)의 진단적 가치

The Computed tomography is useful in evaluation of bony structures and adjacent soft tissues of the lumbar spine. Recently, the multiplanar recontruction of lumbar spine CT of significant value for the anatomical localization and for the myelographic and surgical correlation. We observed 177 Cases of lumbar spine CT, who complains of spinal symptom. during the period from Dec. 1982 to Aug. 1984 The results were as follows: 1. The sex distribution of cases were 133 males and 44 females. The CT diagnosis showed 152 cases of herniated lumbar disc, 15 cases of degenerative disease, 5 cases of spine tbc., 3 cases of spine trauma and 2 cases of meningocele. 2. CT findings of herniated disc were as follows: focal protrusion of posterior disc margin and obliteration of anterior epidural fat in all cases, indentation on dural sac in 92 cases (60.5%) soft tissue mass in epidural fat in 85 cases (55.9%) compression or displacement of nerve root sheath in 22 cases (14.4%) 3. Sites of herniated lumbar disc were at L4-L5 level in 100 cases (59.1%) and at L4-S1 level in 65 cases (38.4%) Location of it were central type in 70 cases (41.4%) left-central type in 46 cases (27.2%), right-central type in 44 cases (26.0%) and lateral type in 9 cases (5.1%) 4. The sagittal reconstruction images were helpful in evaluating neural foramina, size of disc bluge into spinal canal, expecially at L5-S1, and patients with spondylolisthesis. The coronal reconstruction images were the least informative, although they contributed to the evaluation of lumbar nerve roots of course, the axial CT scans were the sensitive and specific.

This research was done to study and analyze the effects of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of judo directors. Also, to see what kind of characteristics show according to demographic properties. Furthermore, develop a academic basis for enhancing the quality of welfare, improving the effectiveness of teaching and strengthening organizational potency of judo instructors. In order to meet the purpose of this study, 192 subjects were analyzed. These subjects were chosen from private gyms, school judo teams and corporate judo teams having a minimum of 3 years experience in judo coaching.『Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire: MSQ』co-developed by Weiss, Dawis, England & Lofguist(1967) and 'three-component model of organizational commitment(emotional commitment, preserved commitment, normative commitment)' made by Meyer & Allen(1997) were customized to use as a tools to gather data. The retrieved data was computed by a statistical program called SPSS window 12.0 and was statistically analyzed by the purpose of the research. A one-way ANOVA was performed to verify the differences in job satisfaction and organizational commitment with age, education, pay among judo directors. Also, to compare the differences, Scheffe's method was used. Multiple recurrence analysis has been used to figure judo instructors' job satisfaction and causal relationship of organizational commitment. From the obtained research results a conclusion has been made based upon a few significant theoretical factors. First, noticeable difference in internal content was shown statistically, regarding the age of the judo director compared to the duty satisfaction. Second, appreciable variance in both factors, internal and external content, was shown statistically between judo directors experience in coaching and their job satisfaction. Third, noticeable variance was statistically spotted in the comparison between emotional commitment and experience of judo instructors. Forth, a statistical difference was noticeable in the pay of judo directors matching with internal content in job satisfaction.

The Radiation Effect on Peripheral Blood Cell

방사선치료가 조혈 기관에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자, 87년 7월부터 88년 9월까지 전북대학 병원 치료방사선과에서 관례적인 분할요법(Conventionally fractionated) 방사선치료를 받은 환자중 치료 전, 중, 종료시에 말초 혈액소견이 전부 갖춰진 44명의 환자를 두경부암, 흉곽 소재암, 골반 부위암등 종양부위에 따라서 3군으로 나누어 이들의 백혈구 총수, 임파구수, 혈소판치 및 혈액소치의 변화를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 성적을 얻었다. 1. 말초 혈액내의 백혈구 총수 및 임파구의 수는 치료개시 1주부터 현저하게 감소되기 시작하여 3주까지 계속 하강하고, 3∼4주째 이후에는 약간 회복을 보였는데, 백혈구 총수에 비하여 임파구 수가 더욱 감소되었다. 2. 혈소판치는 치료개시 2주까지 감소하다가 제 4주째부터는 전군에서 약간의 회복을 보였고 혈색소치는 치료개시 1주에 약간 감소되어 그후 점차적으로 회복되었다. 3. 임파구 수는 골반 부위암에서, 백혈구 총수와 혈소판 치는 흉곽 소재암군에서 저명한 변화를 보였다. To evaluate radiation effect on the hematopoietic system, we analyzed 44 patients who were treated with conventionally fractionated radiation therapy (RT) at Chonbuk National University Hospital. According to the treatment sites, we classified them into three groups: group I as head and neck, group Ⅱ as thorax, and group Ⅲ as pelvis. White blood cell, lymphocyte, platelet and hemoglobin were checked before and during RT The results were as follow: 1. White blood cell (WBC) and lymphocyte count were declined from the first week of RT to the third week, and then slightly recovered after the third or fourth week. There was prominent decrease in lymphocyte counts than WBC. 2. Platelet counts were declined until the second week of the RT, showed slight recovery at fourth week in all groups. Hemoglobin values were slightly decreased in the first week and then recovered the level of pretreatment value, gradually. 3. Lymphocyte count were declined significantly on group Ⅲ(p<0.05), WBC and platelet counts were decreased on group Ⅱ but statistically not significant.
