CJ-50001 (rG-CSF)의 Rat 및 Dog에서의 급성독성

The acute toxicity study of CJ-50001, a recombinant granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (rG-CSF), was performed in Sprague Dawley (SD) rats and beagle dogs. CJ-50001 was administered up to maximum dose 5,000 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg (i.v.) and 10,000 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg (p.o.) in SD rats and 5,000 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg (i.v.) in beagle dogs. In these experiments, there were no death and harmful clinical changes which were related to CJ-50001. In conclusion, $LD_{50}$ of CJ-50001 is over 5,000 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg, i.v. in SD rats and beagle dogs, and over 10,000 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg, p.o. in SD rats.

HRccine was administered subcutaneously for 4 weeks to rabbits at dose levels of 300, 60 and 12 times the expected clinical dose to evaluate the subacute toxicity. There were no effects in clinical signs, body weight changes, food consumption, water consumption, urinalysis and blood biochemistry in any animals tested. In hematological examinations, decrease of lymphocyte counts and increase of platelet counts were observed in the medium- and high-dose treated groups. Absolute weights of thymus were tending to decrease, but no pathological changes were observed in microscopic examinations. The no-effect dose in subacute toxicity study of rabbits was considered to be 300 times the expected clinical dose.
HRccine(HFRS-virus vaccine)의 급성독성

HRccine(HFRS-virus vaccine) was administered subcutaneously or intragastrically to Spargue Dawley rats and subcutaneously to Japanese white rabbits to investigate the acute toxicity. $LD_50$ values were above 600 times the expected clinical dose in both animals. There were no differences in body weight changes, clinical signs and autopsy findings between all treated groups and control group in both animals. Therefore, it was concluded that HRccine is a very safe substance.

We assessed the acute toxicity of CJ-50003, a second Japanese encepalitis (JE) vaccine developed by Cheil-Jedang corporation, in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats and beagle dogs. CJ-50003 was orally and intramuscularly administered up to maximum dose of 160 ㎍/kg, 1,000 times as much as the expected clinical dose, in SD rats and was intramuscularly administered up to 50 ㎍/kg, 300 times as much as the expected clinical dose, in beagle dogs. In these experiments, there were no death and clinical changes which were related to CJ-50003. In addition, there were no significant changes between control and treated groups in body weights and autopsy findings. In conclusion, LD50 of CJ-50003 is over 160 ㎍/ kg in SD rats, and over 50 ㎍/kg in beagle dogs.
