        비름(Amaranth)과 명아주(Quinoa) 재배종의 기능성 물질과 변이

        Amaranth(Amaranthus spp. L.) and quinoa (Chenpodium quinoa Willd.) are old crops from South, Central America and Central Asia and their grains have been identified as very promising food crops because of their exceptional nutritive value. Squalene is an important ingredient in skin cosmetics and computer disc lubricants as well as bioactive materials such as inhibition of fungal and mammalian sterol biosynthesis, antitumor, anticancer, and immunomodulation. Amaranth has a component called squalene (2,6,10,15,19,23-hexamethyl-2,6,10,14,22-tetraco-sahexaene) about 1/300 of the seed and $5\~8\%$ of its seed oil. Oil and squalene content in amaranth seed were different for the species investigated. Squalene content in seed oil also increased by $15.5\%$ due to puffing and from 6.96 to $8.01\%$ by refining and bleaching. Saponin concentrations in quinoa seed ranged 0.01 to $5.6\%$. Saponins are located in the outer layers of quinoa grain. These layers include the perianth, pericarp, a seed coat layer, and a cuticle like structure. Oleanane-type triterpenes saponins are of great interest because of their diverse pharmacological properties, for instance, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, contraceptive, and cholesterol-lowering effects. It is known that quinoa contains a number of structurally diverse saponins including the aglycones, oleanolic acid, hederagenin, and phytolaccagenic acid, which are new potential in gredient for pharmacological properties. It is likely that these saponin levels will be considerably affected by genetic, agronomic and environmental factors as well as by processing. With the current enhanced public interest in health and nutrition amaranth and quinoa will most likely remain in the immediate future within the realm of exotic health foods until such time as agricultural production meets the quantities and qualify required by industrial food manufacturers.

        힘-변위 모델을 이용한 펄스 GMAW의 해석

        In order to determine the One-Drop One-Pulse(ODOP) condition of the pulsed gas metal arc(GMA) welding, the drop detaching phenomenon during the peak time is investigated using the force-displacement model. The drop detaching criterion is established based on the displacement of the pendant drop, and the forces exerted on the drop are calculated using the Modified Force Balance Model(MFBM). The effects of wire melting on the drop size and force are included in the force-displacement model. While the peak current has most significant effects on the drop detaching time, the initial drop mass prior to the peak time also influences drop transfer. The calculated results show good agreements with the experimental data, which implies that the ODOP condition can be predicted using the force-displacement method.

        대형마트 종사자에 대한 서비스교육, 조직지지 및 중재지원이 감정노동 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of service training and arbitration support on superstore workers' work performance. The conclusion could be summarized as follows. First, as a result of Hypothesis 1 that service training and arbitration support for superstore workers would significantly affect the factor of workers' emotional labor, when surface acting of emotion and frequency of expressing emotions were the dependent variable, only arbitration support was positively correlated. When emotional diversity was the dependent variable, there was a significantly positive relationship with service training. Second, for Hypothesis 2 that service training and arbitration support for superstore workers would significantly influence the workers' job satisfaction, it was found that only organizational support was significantly positive when wage satisfaction was the dependent variable. When job satisfaction was the dependent variable, service training and arbitration support were significantly correlated positively. Third, for Hypothesis 3 that service training and arbitration support for superstore workers would significantly affect the service delivery level when service responsiveness was the dependent variable, service training and arbitration support were significantly positive. When service expertise was the dependent variable, there was also a significantly positive relationship with service training and arbitration. On the other hand, all the three independent variables-service training, organizational support, and arbitration support-showed a significantly positive relationship when the willingness and effort of service was the dependent variable.

        치과 임플란트 수술 계획시 CT를 이용한 상악동 체적 및 치조골량 측정

        Purpose: To aid in determining the volume of graft bone required before a maxillary sinus lift procedure and compare the alveolar bone height measurements taken by panoramic radiographs to those by CT images. Materials and Methods : Data obtained by both panoramic radiographs and CT examination of 25 patients were used in this study. Maxillary sinus volumes from the antral floor to heights of 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm, were calculated. Alveolar bone height was measured on the panoramic images at each maxillary tooth site and corrected by magnification rate (PBH). Available bone height (ABH) and full bone height (FBH) was measured on reconstructed CT images. PBH was compared with ABH and FBH at the maxillary incisors, canines, premolars, and molars. Results: Volumes of the inferior portion of the sinuses were 0.55 ± 0041 ㎤ for 5 mm lifts, 2.11 ± 0.68 ㎤ for 10 mm, 4.26 ± 1.32 ㎤ for 15 mm, 6.95 ± 2.01 ㎤ for 20 mm. For the alveolar bone measurement, measurements by panoramic images were longer than available bone heights determined by CT images at the incisor and canine areas, and shorter than full bone heights on CT images at incisor, premolar, and molar areas (p<0.001). Conclusion: In bone grafting of the maxillary sinus floor, 0.96 ㎤ or more is required for a 5 mm-lift, 2.79 ㎤ or more for a 10 mm-lift, 5.58 ㎤ or more for a 15 mm-lift, and 8.96 ㎤ or more for a 20 mm-lift. Maxillary implant length determined using panoramic radiograph alone could result in underestimation or overestimation, according to the site involved.

        Pneumocephalus is exceedingly rare in the absence of trauma or recent surgery. It is most commonly seen after severe head injury, with disruption of the dura and subsequent cerebrospinal fluid leakage. Intracranial air has also been reported as a complication of shunting. This may be secondary to intermittent shunt failure or a persistent communication between the extracranial and intracranial space that permits the entrance of air. In the present case, air appeared to enter the ventricular system through the fistula that connected the frontal sinus. This air replaced the CSF being drained into the peritoneal cavity by the shunt. The decrease of intracranial pressure after a shunt might play a role in causing pneumocephalus. We report a case of tension pneumocephalus after shunting for hydrocephalus as a life-threatning complication.

        목포 주변 해역 조하대 저서동물 군집의 시 ${\cdot}$ 공간적 분포

        본 조사는 목포 인근 연안 저서동물의 종 조성과 군집의 시 ${\cdot}$ 공간적 분포를 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 조사기간 중 총 238종, 663 ind./$m^{2}$의 생물이 채집되었으며 , 다모류가 88종, 389 ind./$m^{2}$로 가장 우점하는 동물군으로 나타났다. 영산강 하구역과 목포항 부근에서는 니질퇴적상과 높은 유기물함량을 나타냈으며, 표층 염분도와 저층 용존산소 등은 계절에 따라 큰 차이를 보였다. 그러나, 외해역의 경우에는 환경변화가 거의 나타나지 않았다. 집괴분석에 의한 군집구조는 4개 지역으로 나누어 졌다. 정점 1과 9로 구성된 2개 그룹은 계절적인 종조성의 차이에 의해, 다른 두 개 그룹은 지역적인 차이에 의해 내만역 (영산강 하구역과 금호방조제 부근)과 연안해역으로 나누어졌다. 이들 지역은 종 수와 생물 다양도에서는 유사하였으나 종조성에서는 큰 차이를 나타냈다. 우점종의 경우 내만역은 Tharyx sp. Poecilochaertus johnsoni, Heteromastus filiformis 등 기회종이 다수 포함된 반면, 연안해역은 Ruditapes philippinarum, Corophium sinense 등으로 구성되었다. 환경변화와 종 조성에 따른 연구 결과, 내만역은 외해역에 비해 담수방류, 유기물 증가 등 저층에 환경교란이 일어나 계절적으로 불안정한 생태계를 나타냈다. 따라서 연안개발 등이 시 ${\cdot}$ 공간적으로 목포 주변 해역 저서동물군집에 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. This study was carried out to clarify the spatial and temporal patterns of macrobenthic assemblages on the subtidal area around Mokpo, southwest of Korea. A total of 238 species and 663 ind./$m^{2}$ were collected. Polychaetes were the most abundant faunal group that comprised 88 species and had a mean density of 389 ind./$m^{2}$. In the semi-enclosed Youngsan River estuarine bay and neighbouring Mokpo Port area were composed of fine sediments with high organic content, and revealed large seasonal variations in the salinity of surface water and bottom dissolved oxygen in contrast to little seasonal changes in those parameters in the outer area. The study area was classified into four station groups by the cluster analysis; the harbor area, the offshore area, and the inner and outer estuarine bay. Two estuarine bay areas showed different species composition; the dominant species of inner bay were Tharyx sp., Poecilochaetus johnsoni, Heteromastus filiformis and other opportunistic species whereas those in the outer bay were Ruditapes philippinarum, Corophium sinense. From the environmental data and species composition of benthic community, the inner bay was characterized to have unstable benthic faunal assemblages, especially under the seasonal disturbance and receiving large amount of organic matter input and intermittant discharge of fresh water. The coastal developments around Mokpo city also seem to have stressed the subtidal communities spatio-temporally.
