Limiting factors for the nitrogen fixation potentials by heterotrophic bacteria are not ammonia but carbon and phosphate. The nitrogen fixation potentials were investigated by acetylene reduction method that was added carbon, phosphate, and ions. The nitrogen fixation potentials ranged 0∼520.6μM-ethylene/L/day in Lake Soyang and 0∼615.3μM-ethylene/L/day in Daechung Reservoir. The nitrogen fixation potentials showed positive correlation with water temperature in Lake Soyang (r=0.75, P<0.01) and Daechung reservoir (r=0.71, P<0.01). As a result, the nitrogen fixation potential by heterotrophic bacteria were mainly affected by water temperature in Lake Soyang and Daechung reservoir.
802.11ah 기반 비면허 무선기기와 LTE 단말기 간 공존 분석

최근, 사물인터넷이 초연결사회에 다가서는 발판으로 많은 관심을 받으면서 비면허 대역을 사용하는 비면허 무선기기의 수가 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 효율적인 주파수 사용을 위해서 900 MHz 대역에서 802.11ah 기반 비면허 무선기기가 주면허 무선기기인 LTE 단말기(UE, User Equipment)에 미치는 전파 간섭 영향을 분석하였다. 간섭 분석 방법으로는 최소결합손실(Minimum Coupling Loss) 방법과 몬테카를로(Monte Carlo) 방법을 사용했다. 최악의 상황을 가정한 최소결합손실 방법으로 단일 간섭원일 때 희생원에 간섭이 없음을 보장하기 위한 간섭원과 희생원 사이의 최소이격거리는 약 22 m로 계산되었고, 통계 기법을 기반으로 한 몬테카를로 방법을 통해 희생원의 셀 반경 내에서 간섭 확률 5% 이하를 만족하는 최대 간섭원의 수는 약 3000개로 산출됐다. 본 논문에서 제시한 간섭 분석 방법 및 결과는 향후 비면허 무선기기와 주면허 무선기기의 공유 방안으로 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다. Recently, a lot of attention is fallen to IoT(Internet of Things) for hyper-connected society and the number of unlicensed wireless device has been increasing. Thus, this paper analyzed the impact of unlicensed wireless device on the basis of 802.11ah on licensed LTE user equipment in 900 MHz frequency band for efficient frequency use. As the interference analysis method, Minimum Coupling Loss (MCL) method and Monte Carlo (MC) method were used. In case of one interferer, minimum separation distance between interferer and victim was calculated as about 22 m through the MCL method under the assumption of the worst case. The maximum number of interferer to meet the interference probability of 5% below within a cell radius of the victim was computed as about 3000 by using MC method based on statistical technique. The analysis method and results in this paper are expected to be used for the coexistence between unlicensed wireless device and licensed wireless device.

This paper describes the RF performance issues of UE RF Transceiver for W-CDMA system based on 3GPP specifications. the parameters of transmitter and receiver are derived from the viewpoint of RF performance. In order for UE to achieve high performance, the transceiver performance requirements such as ACIR, EVM, Peak Code Domain Error, spectrum emission mask, frequency error stability and TX power control dynamic range for transmitter and reference sensitivity level, blocking characteristics, noise figure, ACS, linearity, AGC dynamic range for receiver are considered. On the basis of the required parameters, the UE RF transceiver is designed and then implemented. The evaluation of RF performance is accomplished through practical test scenarios.
Review on RF Performance of Ultra Wide Band Device

UWB(Ultra Wide Band) system for high speed and high accurate location has been studying actively. This paper presents the design and implementation of RF transceiver for DS-CDMA(Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access) UWB device. Major components of RF transceiver such as Low Noise Amplifier(LNA) and Band Pass Filter(BPF) are designed and then fabricated to meet wideband characteristics. The RF transceiver was implemented by the use of the fabricated components and commercial devices after carrying out performance simulation. Through the performance evaluation of the UWB RF transceiver with W-CDMA signal, the approach of design, implementation and evaluation of RF transceiver which is available to DS-CDMA UWB system is verified.
