In general, ophthalmologists visually grade the state of a patient by counting the cells within the anterior chamber OCT image. The manual cell counting method is highly inaccurate and spends a lot of time to determine the progress of the patient. In this work, we develop a new tool to count cells in anterior chamber OCT images to aid doctors in analyzing the state of patients. We exploit image processing to remove noises from images, segment the anterior chamber, and quantize the cells in OCT images. We also provide statistics to aid the doctors in determining the progress of the patients.

This research aims to evaluate the structural capability through the analysis and experiment for the "the Application for FRP Soil-Structure". A reinforced concrete structure has been generally used for the Soil-Structure construction such as underground tunnel, irrigation canals and multi-level crossing so far, the structure using Corrugated Multi Plate is introduced recently due to its merits including reducing the term of works and the cost effectiveness. However, it is fair to say that it has to be improved to overcome some bottlenecks as Passivation Resistance etc. Therefore, this research try to indicate the optimized configuration and allowable value which can maximize material performances under the construction of FRP Panel Soil-Structure by using FRP panel and ultimately point out Suspension Design Parameters for Affecting Factors which can effect most on the permanence of Soil-Structure. Particularly, this paper focuses on the FRP material design fitting to Structural characteristics of Soil-Structure, material experiment to grasp of tensile and compressive strength of designed materials, Panel Constant Volume Design, and finally, verification of stability by Finite Elements Method Analysis with Material Properties and section value. Consequently, it can be concluded that the stability, economical efficiency and Construction Work is outstanding when using materials and profile which selected through materia] test and Finite Elements Method.

Vol.19 No.4
Wear mechanisms may be briefly classified by mechanical, chemical and thermal wear. A plane strain finite element method is used with a new material stress and temperature fields to simulate orthogonal machining with continuous chip formation. Deformation of the workpiece material is treated as elastic-viscoplastic with isotropic strain hardening, and the numerical solution accounts for coupling between plastic deformation and the temperature field, including treatment of temperature-dependent material properties. Effects of the uncertainty in the constitutive model on the distributions of strain, stress and temperature around the shear zone are presented, and the model is validated by comparing average values of the predicted stress, strain, and temperature at the shear zone with experimental results.
