      • 디젤엔진에서 화염온도의 계측을 통한 soot의 농도와 운전조건과의 관계연구

        The local instantaneous flame temperature and soot concentration in a D.I. diesel engine were measured using a two-color method. The proposed method based on the continuous spectral radiation from the soot particles in the flame is applicable to industrial diesel engines without major modifications of their main characteristics because of simplicity and relative ease of application. Measurements were performed at two location inside the combustion chamber of a D.I. diesel engine. Effects of different engine speeds and loads, fuel injection timings, combustionn chamber shapes on flame temperature and KL factor, which is qualitatively proportional to soot concentrations, were examined. Flame temperature change were observed with increasing engine speed and load. The higher the flame temperature is, the lower the KL factor is.

        The present study deals with the effect of combustion chamber shape on in-cylinder soot oxidation characteristics of a direct injection diesel engine. The analysed combustion chambers were a toroidal and a reentrant, a reentrant with a projection(Complex). The two-color method was used to measure in-cylinder flame temperature and KL value which is approximately proportional to the soot amount along the optical path. In addition, heat release rate was calculated from the in-cylinder pressure data. From this study, the soot oxidation of the reentrant and the complex which were strengthen squish flows went worse in late combustion period under heavy-load operation compared to that of the toroidal at retarded fuel injection timing. It might be cause of the flame holding that squish lip depress the outflow of flame from the bowl to the entire combustion space.

        Mechanical component under fatique loading has striation with constant width, and SEM can estimate fracture type and loading condition. SEM has benefit to fatigue fracture analysis but striation can be observed according to the kind of material and range of crack growth rate, and can't. In this case, it needs AFM that can measure 3-dimensional surface profile with resolution of atomic size. In this study, to find fracture reason of torsion-mounted blade in nuclear plant, we estimate the relation between stress intensity factor range and surface roughness in 12% Cr steel by AFM and predict in-service load condition.       • 디젤엔진에서 국소 순간 화염온도와 Soot 농도에 관한 연구

The proposed method based on the continuous spectral radiation from soot particles in flames is applicable to industirial diesel engines without major modifications of their main characteristics. Measurements are performed at one location inside the combustion chamber of a D.I. diesel engine. Effects of different engine speeds and loads, injection timings, piston cavity types on flame temperature and KL factor which is an index of soot concentrations were examied. A little temperature change were observed with increasing engine speeds, while apparently increased with loads. The higher the flame temperature is, the lower the KL factor is.

        SBT 박막의 저온화 공정을 위한 솔-젤법과 $IrO_2$하부전극의 효과

        솔-젤법으로 S $r_{0.9}$B $i_{2.1}$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ stock solution을 합성하고, Ir $O_2$/ $SiO_2$/Si 및 기판 위에 스핀코팅법으로 약 2000$\AA$ 정도의 두께를 가지고 SBT 박막을 제조하였다. Pt/Ti $O_{x}$ 전극을 사용한 SBT 박막과 비교하였을 때 Ir $O_2$전극을 사용한 SBT 박막의 경우 더 낮은 급속 열처리 온도 즉, 72$0^{\circ}C$에서 형석상에서 층상 페롭스카이트 상으로의 상전이가 관찰되었다. 그리고, Ir $O_2$전극을 사용한 SBT 박막은 낮은 열처리에서 결정성장이 이루어졌다. Ir $O_2$전극을 사용한 SBT 박막은 $650^{\circ}C$에서 열처리하였을 때 포화된 이력곡선을 얻었지만, Pt/Ti $O_{x}$ 전극을 사용한 SBT 박막은 $700^{\circ}C$에서 열처리하였을 때 이력곡선이 관찰되었다. Ir $O_2$전극을 사용한 SBT 박막은 $700^{\circ}C$의 열처리에서 8.79 $\mu$C/$ extrm{cm}^2$ (3V)의 2Pr 값을 나타내었다.나타내었다.다.

        Impact loads may be expected in many of the engineering applications of composites. The suitability of composites for such applications is determined not only by the usual parameters, but its impact or energy-absorbing properties. Genetic algorithms(GA) is probabilistic optimization technique by principle of natural genetics and natural selection and neural networks(NN) is useful for predication operation on the basis of learned data. Therefore, This study presents optimization techniques on the basis of genetic algorithms and neural networks to minimum stiffness and weight design of laminated composites.

      • 한국 사이클경기의 변천과정에 관한 연구 : 사이클 도입부터 광복이전까지를 중심으로 from introduction of cycle to the restoration of independence

        The purpose of this thesis is to study the process of changes of Korean Cycling from introduction of cycle to the restoration of independence. On the purpose of this study, I divided the period of introduction of cycle before the restoration of independence with 3 periods on basis of the game which effect on the changes of korean cycling and diffusion of cycles. : The period of Introduction (introduction of bicycle - before Whole Chosen Cycling Tournament in 1913), The period of Diffusion (after Whole Chosen Cycling Tournament in 1913 - before Mankuk Cycling Tournament in 1930), The period of Development (after Mankuk cycling Tournament in 1930 - before restoration of Independence). I got the following results: 1. The first cycle was introduced before October in 1896 on basis of the article of The Independent of advertising of sales of used cycle in the paper of 8th October in 1896. And the first man who introduced into Korea would be foreigner because the man who advertised in the paper was foreigner. 2. The first domestic cycling was the play between Kuon-yuonsick and Yosikawha on 22th April in 1906. The first game of the Whole Chosun Cycling was held in 1913. and the first game which women took part in was Whole-Chosun Cycling in Kyongsung. And the first cycling for middle and high school student was held in 1940. 3. The first abroad cycling was the world cycling in 1930. After that korean who took part in the Whole Japanese Cycling, the Whole Japanese Student Cycling, had good effect. 4. The host of holding the games were mainly Japanese before 1923. After that Masan physical education group which was Korean group held the cycling and the Korean players activated to participate. 5. The most cycling was hold by merchants in those days. This was the policy of sales cycle. In fact, according to popularization of cycling was activated. 6. The first nation-wide-network organization of cycling was Whole Chosun Cycling Association built in 1938. After the restoration of independence this organization became the basis of the Korea Armature Cycling Association.

        Laminated composites are in the form of laminates consisting of multiple laminae oriented in the design directions and bonded together in a structural unit. The virtually limitless combinations of ply orientations, ply thickness and ply stacking sequences offered by laminated constructions considerably enhance the design flexibility inherent in composite structures. And it is known that genetic algorithms has an excellent ability in the area of combinatorial optimization problem. Therefore, the present paper deals with the stiffness and weight optimization of laminated composites under multiaxial loading on the basis of genetic algorithms.

      • 공구의 날끝반경이 측면 Burr의 형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The formation of side burr in orthogonal cutting are investigated under the radius of cutting tool rounding. The side burr root thickness obtained by experiments are compared with the results of the FEM analysis model subjected to the distributed cutting forces on the lower boundry of slip lines of the primary deformation zone. The major findings are as follow : 1) The increase of cutting edge roundings enlage the side burr root thickness. 2) The ratio of side burr root thickness against the depth of cut to the radius of cutting edge lies between 0.75 and 11. 3) The suggested model to get the side burr root thickness by FEM analysis represents a good agree with the experimental results.
