타이어공기압경고장치(TPMS)장착 자동차의 안전기준에 관한 고찰

Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) have a excellent effectiveness in two aspects. One is fatalities reduction of traffic accident due to tire rapid loss while driving with low tire pressure resulting from drivers lack for tire management and the other is additional greenhouse gases exhaust. So, USA had already released FMVSS 138 in 2004 and enforced obligatory installation from 2005 to 2007 step by step. Also, Europe are preparing the motor vehicle safety standards about the TPMS and will released in 2010 at the latest. For fundamental study of rule making in Korea, the vehicle safety regulations of USA and Europe are reviewed and Full-size vehicle dynamic test was carried out according to both FMVSS 138 and ECE R64. This study will be reflected for the establishment on the Korean Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for the TPMS.

It is important to assess and popularize widely Active Safety System like Rear Cross Traffic Alert, etc. that minimize or previously prevent itself the accident of minor collision with the vehicle crossing during on reversing in the parking lot and required to establish performance test method and evaluation criteria for implementation as a test and assessment procedure of area of accident prevention safety assessment in accordance with KNCAP’s Road Map. But internationally there was no reference materials worthy of referring to test protocol as like International Standard Organization(ISO) and overseas NCAP, and so on. Therefore, it was required its own development. Then it was conducted to analyse rear crossing-accident status in domestic parking lot and the effect of Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and to develop evaluation methods and evaluation criteria by carrying out field operational tests for vehicles fitted with RCTA. Finally, the performance evaluation test method and evaluation criteria for Rear Cross Traffic Alert to be enforced in 2017 was established.

The center of gravity on vehicle is a fundamentally important point for assessing and measuring the characteristics of vehicle dynamics. Especially, the center of gravity height on vehicles is the closest factor with respect to rollover accidents in a social issue nowadays. In this paper, the center of gravity height in conjunction with vehicle parameters of vehicle weight, driving axle and roof height after measured by vehicle weight and loading location by means of VCGM developed by KATRI with good performance that the accuracy was less than 0.6% and repeatability 0.3% for vehicles being used in the whole world was observed. As a result of study, the location of center of gravity height on vehicle was able to be estimated with only roof height on vehicle.

본 논문은 실제 차량 환경과 시뮬레이션 가상 환경 동기화를 통해 실시간 차량 평가 검증 및 안전성 평가가 가능한 인공지능자율주행 VIL(Vehicle-In-the-Loop) 시스템 설계를 위한 시뮬레이션 환경구축 방법으로 Traffic Road 환경 설계 구성 방법과 운영설계영역 분류 구성 방법 및 실차 대비 시뮬레이션 재현성 평가 검증 방법에 대해 제안한다.

As the ESC become more affordable, the research regarding the performance appraisal method of the ESC is actively advanced. The research was spearheaded by the UN/ECE/WP29 and ISO. Specially, the United States established a ESC efficiency requirements with the FMVSS. And the UN/ECE/WP29 is in the process of propelling the Global Technical Regulation establishment of the ESC. Republic of Korea is the member of U.N. and ISO that participates in the wide range of international meetings. This paper describes vehicle-test results for establishment of the Korean Standards, carrying out actual test to verify the determination of dwell time, Max. steering wheel angle input and the proposed measuring method of lateral displacement and to propose the additional evaluation criteria of ESC efficiency.
Fallback 상황에서의 V2X 기반 자율주행 운행 안전성 확보 방법에 관한 연구

본 논문은 Fallback 상황에서의 V2X 기반 자율주행 운행 안전성 확보 방법에 관한 연구로 레벨 4 이상 자율주행 제도적 안전 기준에 있어 DDT Fallback 상황에 대한 MRM과 MRC 등 자율주행 차량의 비상 상황에 대한 대응 체계와 평가방법에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으나 자율주행 운행환경에 있어 시간에 따른 도로 노면과 구조물 형태의 변화와 날씨와 같은 환경 변화를 예측 대응하기 어렵다. 또한 자율주행 차량 단독으로 Fallback 상황에 대응할 필요가 있으나 시스템의 고장과 성능 한계에 따른 제약이 따르는 문제점이 극복하고자 Fallback 상황에서의 자율주행 운행의 안전성 확보를 위한 방법으로 Fallback 상황에서의 V2X 기반 자율주행 운행 안전성 프로세스와 평가 시나리오 설계 방법를 제안하였다.
