Delivery robot should recognize its current location during navigation to safely deliver. Location recognition enables location recognition correction, obstacle detection, accidental circumstance evasion, route search, and location recognition of delivery box by using location recognition sensors equipped in and out of delivery robot. This leads to implementing algorithm which allows delivery robot to perform autonomous navigation in a building. In addition, indoor module was constructed to check the performance of the unmanned delivery system that can generate maps, search delivery location, and carry out delivery service. As a result of experiment above, it is confirmed that the map creation and delivery service are performed correctly through the system monitoring. Through the repeated experiment in real condition to assess functions of delivery robot, it is verified that the delivery robot is able to travel and deliver.
