액-가스 열교환기를 적용한 천연가스 액화공정 성능 특성

본 연구에서는 천연가스 액화 플랜트 산업에서의 핵심 기술인 액화공정 개발을 위해 두 가지 2단 압축방식의 액화 사이클의 성능을 시뮬레이션 하였다. Process1은 케스케이드 액화공정을 기초로 하여 프로판, 에틸렌, 메탄 사이클 모두 인터쿨러가 적용된 것이다. Process 2는 위의 공정에 메탄과 에틸렌 사이클 사이에 액-가스 열교환기를 적용하였고, Process 3은 위의 공정에 에틸렌과 프로판 사이클 사이에 액-가스 열교환기를 추가로 적용하였으며, 인터쿨러를 적용한 케스케이드 공정과 성능을 비교하였다. Process 2의 COP는 Process 1보다 14.0%정도 높게 나타났고, LNG 단위 생산량 당 소비 동력은 11.5% 정도 낮게 나타났다. In this paper, two different types of natural gas liquefaction cycle with 2 staged compression were designed and simulated to develop liquefaction process which is the core technology in the Industry of natural gas liquefaction plant. These include the cascade cycle with inter-cooler which is consisted of propane, ethylene and methane cycle. One of these is that liquid-gas heat exchanger is applied to between methane and ethylene cycles, and another is that liquid-gas heat exchanger is added to between ethylene and propane on the above process. Also, these cycles are compared with two staged cascade process using an inter-cooler. The COP of process2 is shown about 14.0% higher than that of process1, respectively. Also, the yield efficiency of LNG improved comparing with process1 with 11.5% lower specific power.

Generally EPC management system was simply management concept through the normal S/W. Our LNG Plant R&D Center wanted to the excellent management system from the S/W. So We developed the R&D management S/W and EPC management S/W Built in the Microsoft Project Server. Our system made to the customer Requirements. It was just User Interface protocol. But User Interface has more Weak position, because it makes from the MS Project Servers. Ms Projector server make easy to treat the project on the WBS. EPC parts mixed WBS and normally Ms SQL Database. It has very complicated Structures. Now We planed to make the general Database and Ms Project Server, It' means to the S/W Developer and Schedule Manager ability. We will successfully integrate R&D management system and EPC system and other softwares.

Traditionally gas plant R&D has had a world-wide weak position in terms of high technology. Especially System engineering did not exactly apply to gas plant construction. So, Gas Plant R&D Center is determined to make the establishment of the system engineering for the standard of gas plant. Gas Plant R&D Center has two projects. Firstly, the establishment of the R&D management system. Secondly, the system engineering which is included in the VE concept of EPC parts. But Gas Plant R&D Center exists in the particular conditions for successful development of the new process and core equipments. Now we will describe the establishment of R&D management system and particular conditions(Risk Conditions) for gas plant.
