Dyeing properties of cotton and ramie fabrics with pine needles colorants were studied by investigating the analysis of pine needles colorants, the effect of dyeing conditions (such as dye concentration, dyeing temperatures and times on dye uptakes), effect of mordants, and color change. The various colorfastness of dyed fabrics were evaluated for practical use; in addition, the antimicrobial ability, ultraviolet-cut ability, and deodorant ability were estimated. In the UV-Visible spectrum, the wavelength of the maximum absorption for pine needles extract was 285nm, and pine needles colorants produced a yellow color. From FT-IR and GC-MS results, it was assumed that chromophoric substance from pine needles extracts were mixed with flavonol tannin and flavanol tannin. An increased dyeing concentration resulted in a larger dye uptake and a Freundlich absorption isotherm was obtained. A larger dye uptake occurred as the dyeing time and temperature increased. Post-mordanting was more effective than pre-mordanting and the dye uptake of fabrics improved by mordanting. The colorfastness of dyed fabrics showed a low rating; however, colorfastness to washing and dry cleaning of cotton fabrics mordanted with N.Cu, and friction fastness of ramie fabric mordanted with Cu improved. The dyed fabrics showed very good antimicrobial abilities of 99.9%. In addition, the ultraviolet-cut ability and deodorant ability improved in fabrics dyed with pine needles extracts.

The dyeing properties of protein fiber with pine needles colorants were studied through an investigation of the effect of dyeing conditions such as dye concentration, dyeing temperatures and time on dye uptakes, effect of mordants, and color change. In addition, the various colorfastness of dyed silk and wool fabrics were evaluated for practical use. The antimicrobial ability, ultraviolet-cut ability, and deodorant ability were also estimated. The dye uptake increased as the dyeing concentration increased and this enabled the obtainment of the Langmuir absorption isotherm. The dye uptake increased as the dyeing time and temperature increased. Pine needles colorants showed relatively good affinity to protein fiber and produced a yellow color. Post-mordanting was more effective than the pre-mordanting, and the dye uptake of fabrics improved by mordanting. Except for washing, the colorfastness of dyed fabrics showed a low rating. However, the colorfastness to light and the dry cleaning of fabrics mordanted with N.Cu, and the friction fastness of fabrics mordanted with Cu improved. The guide fabrics showed very good antimicrobial abilities of 99.9%; in addition, the ultraviolet-cut ability and deodorant ability improved in fabrics dyed with pine needles extracts.
선거 관련 UCC 시청이 대통령 후보에 대한 인식 및 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 선거 관련 UCC 시청이 시청자의 대선 후보자에 대한 인식, 감정, 지지의사에 미치는 영향을 실험방법을 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 지지하는 후보가 누구인지, UCC에 등장하는 후보자에 대한 사전 인식이 어느 정도인지, 대선 관련 UCC의 사전 시청 경험이 어느 정도인지 등 시청자와 관련한 요인을 통제하고, 메시지의 속성에 따라 UCC 시청으로 인한 인식 및 태도 변화가 어떻게 달라지는지 살펴보았다. 2(메시지의 정서적 속성: 긍정적/부정적) X 2(메시지의 커뮤니케이션적 속성: 근거 제시/근거 없음)의 요인설계를 통한 실험결과, 메시지의 정서적 속성은 시청자의 감정적 태도 및 행동의도의 변화에 강한 영향을 미치고, 후보자의 인식 변화에는 다소 상반된 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 후보자의 정책에 대해서 더 잘 이해하게 되었다고 답한 응답자들은 긍정적인 내용의 UCC를 본 경우가 더 많았고, 후보의 인물에 대해서 더 잘 알게 되었거나 지금까지 잘 몰랐던 부분에 대해서 새롭게 알게 되었다고 답한 응답자들은 부정적인 내용의 UCC를 본 경우가 더 많았다. 이는 메시지의 긍정성과 부정성에 근거하여 UCC를 규제하려 하거나 UCC의 가치를 판단하려 하는 입장 모두에 대해 보다 신중한 검토가 필요하다는 점을 시사한다. 한편 커뮤니케이션적 속성은 태도 및 행동의도의 변화에는 영향을 미치지 않는 반면, 인식의 변화에는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 긍정적인 UCC든 부정적인 UCC든 일방적으로 주장을 나열하기 보다는 타당한 근거와 자료를 제시하면서 주장하였을 때, 후보자에 대한 감정적 태도가 달라지거나 지지의사가 늘어나지는 않지만 후보자에 대한 새로운 인식을 갖게 되었다고 응답한 경우가 많았다. 메시지의 커뮤니케이션적 속성이 UCC 시청자의 후보에 대한 이해를 돕는 데 기여할 수 있다는 점을 시사하는 것이다. This study examined the influence of UGC characteristics on the viewers’ understanding, attitude, and preference of the presidential candidate. Employing a 2 (emotional characteristics; positive versus negative) X 2 (communication method: evidence-based argument versus plain argument) design experiment, this study found that viewers who watched positive UGCs tend to have more favorable sentiment toward the candidate and to be more willing to support the candidate, while viewers who watched negative UGCs tend to have aversive sentiment toward the candidate. Also, more viewers who watched positive UGCs answered that they came to understand better the candidate’s policy stance than those who watched negative UGCs, whereas more viewers who watched negative UGCs answered that they came to understand better about the candidate’s personal character and to know something new about the candidate. The study also found that more viewers who watched UGCs that made evidence-based arguments answered that they came to know something new about the candidate than those who watched UGCs that made plain arguments without supporting evidence. The findings of the study suggest that political UGCs should not be regulated or criticized solely based on the negativity or positivity of the UGC contents. Further studies need to be conducted in order to fully understand the effects of political UGCs on the viewers’ understanding and attitudes.
매염제 처리가 대나무잎과 솔잎 추출물로 염색한 직물의 물성 및 태에 미치는 영향

This research categorizes fundamental data needed to develop eco-friendly fabrics treated with bamboo leaf & pine leaf extracts. The effect of mordant on those fabrics was analyzed through the measurement of mechanical properties and the estimation of primary hand values for cotton and silk fabrics dyed with bamboo leaf and pine leaf extracts that were later treated with various mordants. When cotton was dyed with bamboo leaves and pine leaves extracts, EM, WT, 2HB, 2HG, 2HG5, LC, T, and W increased however, RT, SMD, and RC decreased compared to raw cotton fabric. The B, G, and MIU increased after mordant treatment to the dyed cotton and resulted in a stiffer and rougher cotton`s hand, EM, WT, RT, MIU, WC, T, and W increased (in terms of silk); however, LT, B, 2HB, G, 2HG, 2HG5, MMD, SMD, and LC decreased compared to raw silk fabric. Similar to the dyed cotton, mordant treatment increased the MIU and LC of dyed silk subsequently, the hand became stiffer and rougher. A greater tannin adsorption results in an increased mechanical property and the primary hand value. For both fabrics, mordant treatment made its smoothness drop. However, the scale of drop for cotton was significant, while the scale of the drop for silk was minor, In terms of type of mordant, fe-mordant and natural-mordant treatment influenced the tensile, shear, surface properties of fabrics, and primary hand values more than Cu-mordant and synthetic-mordant in addition, this increased the stiffness, hardness, and roughness of fabrics.
