E-Business의 성과관리를 위한 Balanced Scorecard 활용기법

As e-businesses under the digital economy environment evolve rapidly affecting the structure of our economy and individual life styles, the need for metrics system to evaluate the performance of e-business activities remarkably increases. Reviewing the characteristics of e-business and some issues related to its measurement, this paper develops a process to implement the balanced scorecard method to e-business performance management. With a case example, this paper also demonstrates the proposed system can be applied effectively to domestic e-business organizations.

To integrate design and related applications, manufacturing engineers need extract and recognize some features from geometric modeling data. This paper is to provide a form feature recognition method using a neural network technique. We develop a method to extract each individual feature of an object from 3D modeling data using face-edge graph based algorithm and then propose an approach to recognize the volumic form features using multi-layer perceptron technique. We demonstrate the proposed approaches are effective for such basic shapes as pocket, slot, through hole, etc.

This paper proposes a PC-based prototype implementation that merges a database, an expert system, and a CAD system. With group technology (GT) encoding and a model-retrieval database management system, a design engineer can determine whether a similar part already exists, thereby avoiding any difficult and time consuming task. Since the proposed system also manages parameterized generic models of parts, the engineer can design the new part merely by instantiating a template and filling up parameters. Similarly, because comprehensive information about parts is stored in the database, process plans can be generated with minimal manual intervention.

This paper is to provide an integration approach between design and process planning for mechanical parts ,using feature recognition. We develop a method to extract each individual feature of an object from 3D modeling data using face-edge graph based algorithm and then propose an approach to recognize the volumic form features using heuristic rules. We demonstrate the proposed approaches are effective for such basic shapes as pocket, slot, through hole, etc.
