This paper describes a development of ship's refer-container remote monitoring system(RRMS). This system consists of Master, repeater with a switched mode power supply(SMPS) and slave terminal. Slave terminal is composed of wireless MODEM and microprocessor part, checks its conditions like temperature. humidity & etc through the interrogate port(IP) of refer-container. and transmits their data to master. Repeater's role is that connect so that signal which is transmitted from Slave Terminal by Master may not receive electric wave interference by container boxes. We verify the effectiveness of proposed system through the experimental works in container yard and ship.

In this paper, We make horizontal balancer and confirm a possibility of the technique that can be applied to ship through horizontal vibration reduction experiment. We used experimental equipment consists of two induction motors shafts of which cam type unbalanced loads are fixed to, DSP and inverter circuit. Two induction motors perform roles as vibrator and balancer respectively, DSP control softwares such as speed, phase and vector control program. The simulation and experimental results show that the balancer characterizes good vibration reduction by phase control.

This paper describes the improvement of performance of power supply for ship's emergency lighting system(SELS). Proposed system is composed of power factor correction (PFC) circuit, emergency power supply system (EPSS), half bridge(HB) inverter, fluorescent lamp(FL) starting circuit and microprocessor control system. Experimental works using proposed system confirm that speedy and stable power to be supplied when main power source cut-off, compared with conventional relay type, and control power factor up to 97.5[%] and input power up to 35.0[%] by adjusting of pulse frequency of the HB inverter.

This paper describes a design of several ship's emergency lighting system(SELS) that power factor is improved and power is controlled extensively, and techniques to control and monitor this system in remote distance by PC serial communication. The remote monitoring control system is composed of emergency power supply system (EPSS), half bridge(HB) inverter, fluorescent lamp(FL), microprocessor, multi communication interface. EPSS checks the voltage of the emergency backup battery in real time. In case that the voltage of 13[V] or less has been detected for 5[msec] or longer for 3 times in a row, charger circuit is connected for battery charging. Experimental works using proposed system confirm that speedy and stable power to be supplied when main power source cut-off, compared with conventional analog type, and input power up to 35.0[%] by adjusting of pulse frequency of the HB inverter.

This paper presents the high speed and phase control of vibration rejecting induction motor(VRIM) to reject vibration originated from vibrating induction motor. The control of speed is used the adaptive controller using DSP which is possible high speed operation. We confirmed that phase of VRIM can be controlled extensively throughout simulation using C language.

This paper designed Matlab simulator to reject vibration originated from ship's engine. This simulator is composed of engine, balancer, speed controller, phase controller, and phase controller is composed of engine phase, balancer phase detector, and target phase comparator. Several cases of simulation are carried out in order to prove vibration rejection by adjustment of above two phase. The simulation results showed good rejection characteristic of vibration.
