        우리나라 한우의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 조사료 자급률 확보 방안

        In order to increase forage production in Korea, it`s required suitable method at each sectional region. Youngnam sectional region request efficiently using the paddy to product rice straw on their area and Joongbu sectional region request more high effect to use it. And Kangwon sectional region had better to use their a dry field to product more forage compared with another sectional regions like as Youngnam and Joongbu. In particular, Korean officer wanr to have a plan to reduce some forage which come from overseas because it will be increase and dangerous on their price. But It is not easy to success stopping to import unless increase paddy and dry field to product for forage. These alternative forage for rice production for feed and rice straw production for forage need to be considered. To solve excess production of rice and increase income of farmers, it is a good plan to trans to product forage than rice. Also in this case, it can trans to paddy to product rice anytime if these condition are changed when rice may lack at that time. And one more thing to breed cattle heads are suitable to product forage in their section region under condition.

        지속가능한 축산시스템 구축방안

        FMD (Foot and Mouth Disease) occurred at the end of 2010 illustrated that Korean livestock industry should be reformed to a sustainable system urgently. First of all, Korean livestock industry needs to maintain suitable size by farm, region and whole country. Livestock system should harmonize with environment and animal welfare. Environment-friendly livestock farm system is known to prevent disease and create benefit. Manure distribution centers (MDC) ought to be built to link livestock farms with crop farms. Livestock farms without land can maintain suitable herd size because of MDC. And manure should be retreated to safe and high quality compost at MDC. Also we can produce fermented roughage (Total Mixed Ration, TMR) by green rice plant at a paddy field like Japan. For increasing income in suitable size, it requires to pursue highest value. Food safety, brand, differentiation, certification, and consumer communication are effective tools to increase value. Recently, consumers have paid more attention to healthy, safe and natural products, and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities of firms. Particularly, traceability system, green marketing, and risk communication are considered as primary means to make consumers mentally confide in domestic livestock products. We can receive many suggestions and ideas from consumers or experts through risk communication.

        의사결정나무모형을 이용한 춘천 닭갈비 경영인의 명품화 참여의사 분석

        In this paper, decision tree is used to analyze the willingness to participate in the premium brand of Chuncheon Dakgalbi (roasted chicken) restaurant CEOs. The results show that male CEO`s account for 73.5% and female CEO`s account for 26.5%; in addition, the high-school graduates account for 53.9% and 50~60 year-old CEO`s accounts for 40.2% which is the most of all. 61.8% of them showed the willingness and 38.2% did not on the other hand. Furthermore, 50~59 year-old male CEO`s, who had 5~10 years` experiences but did not have a high school diploma, showed the most willingness. On the contrast, 40-50 year-old female CEO, who had less than 5 years` experiences but also did not have a high school diploma, showed the most unwillingness. Due to the above results, the former groups` willingness needs to be further developed and the latter groups` negative attitudes toward the premium brand should be changed for the purpose of making premium brand on Chuncheon Dakgalbi successful.

        Rice straw is the principal forage for Korean cattle. Limited supply of domestic forage forces Korea to depend on imported forage. Utilizing locally available domestic feed as an alternative would lead to self-sufficiency and stability in cattle farm management. Locally available feed can be utilized as forage. The challenge of collecting local feed has been overcome by machines that have been developed to harvest feed. Local feed can be completely consumed in the production regions, thus reducing transportation costs and increasing price competitiveness. Hitherto, studies have focused on feed technologies and price competitiveness, among other factors, while the substitution of forage has not been examined. This study conducts a quantitative analysis to estimate the extent to which local feed can replace existing forage. We find that local feed is cheaper, and abundantly available, and can thus replace high-quality forage.

        China is the largest country which produce apple in the world. Apple industry plays a very important role in chinese agriculture section, especially for farmers` income. Recently chinese apple industry has been developing very quickly because of export. When the chinese apple goes to the world markets, it is also face up with some challenges. Apple industry is a labor intensive industry, so the labor inputs` proportion is very large. China has large labour force and the cost of production is relatively inexpensive. However, the technology, the quality and safety standards are not popularized, so there are difficulties for chinese apples market to enter into developed countries` market. This paper will first introduce about chinese apple industry`s current situation, focuses on the apple`s productivity and the changes of apple price. Secondly will introduce the current situation of apple`s export.

        한국 농업의 가치혁신을 위한 전략

        In this paper, we address the plan for the value improvement and sustainable development of the agriculture and rural community under the change in the internal or external environment and policy paradigm. It is clear that the synergy is amplified when the two-track approach based on the national ICT support in agricultural fields and new and innovative minds in rural areas is taken. Comprehensively and systematically, agriculture should be innovative in terms of various fields such as production, process, marketing, and organization. Agricultural ICT convergence is developing with respect to scaling up, lessening labor, stabilizing, and succession to know-how. Its ultimate purpose is to create new added value and jobs. The restoration of the rural community is a very significant part of promoting the sixth industries. The key point of the agricultural value innovation is to utilize local resources and link the rural multifunctionality to the green business. For the correct value innovation of the sixth industrialization, the systematization of production should be predetermined. It is very important not only for the central government to provide technology and funds, but also for the local governments to play a role as a coordinator, develop new products, and aid in safety management.

      • 면역결핍동물의 생산을 위한 형질전환생쥐의 분석

        To determine whether the diphtheria toxin-A (DT) gene disrupts development of thymocytes in transgenic animal, the DT-A gene was used for the production of transgenic mice directed by proximal lck promoter sequences. Two transgenic founder mice that contained several copies of transgene were produced by DNA microinjection and integration of transgene in transgenic mice was confirmed by PCR and Southern blotting analysis. Transgenic F₁and F₂mice were produced by outbreeding of founder and F₁mice to investigate expression of transgene and phenotypes in transgneic mice. Expression of the diphtheria toxin gene was confirmed in thymus, spleen and liver of transgenic mice by RT-PCR. In circulating blood of transgenic mice, lower number of circulating white blood cells and platelets were observed compared with that of normal mice. In addition, transgneic mice had reduced number of circulating peripheral T-cells analyzed by FACS with anti-CD3 antibody. The data in these transgenic mice indicate that DT gene can play a disruptive role in developing thymocytes of transgenic mice resulted in lower number of T-cells that can be applicable to a wide range of tissues in other animals.

      • Deposition of Mucin Coat on Rabbit Embryos Cultured In Vitro Following Oviductal Transfer

        Mucin coat is deposited on the embryos during passage through the oviduct in rabbit. When in vitro cultured blastocysts were transferred to the recipients, the lack of mucin coat might account in part for failure of pregnancy after transfer. The present study were carried out to investigate whether deposition of mucin coat were induced when in vitro cultured blastocysts were transferred to recipients. At 19-20 hours post coitus one cell embryos were collected by flushing oviducts. These embryos cultured for 72 hours were reached to blastocyst stage. And these blastocysts were transferred to the oviduct of asynchronized (one day later than the donors) and synchronized recipient. To confirm deposition of the mucin coat blastocysts transferred to the oviduct were recovered at 24 and 48 hours after the transfer. Fifty eight percent of blastocysts recovered from uterus of asynchronous recipient at 24 hours after transfer and 92.9% of blastocysts recovered from uterus of synchronous recipient were 0-10㎛ of mucin coat thickness. And 11.8% of blastocysts of asynchronized recipients and 7.1% of blastocysts from asynchronized recipients were in 11-20㎛ of mucin coat thickness. When blastocysts were recovered from uterus at 48 hours after transfer, 87.0% of blastocysts from asynchronized recipients and 5.9% of blastocyst from synchronized recipients were in 0-10㎛ of mucin coat thickness. And 76.5% of blastocysts of synchronized recipients and 4.4% of blastocysts from asynchronized recipients were in 11-20㎛ of mucin coat thickness. From these results it is speculated that the low implantation rate of in vitro cultured rabbit blastocysts transferred to oviduct of recipient was caused by high degeneration of the embryo after transfer and inappropriate deposition of mucin coat.
